thaT smelL

So I was sitting outside last night as I usually do after a long hard nights viewing of the two shows that have me captivated on the Netflix Roku doohickie.. And sitting there hearing the distant shouts from the baseball fields as there be fun afoot down there.. I smell barbecue burgers, that smells nice.. Contemplating my next move as I think where did the summer go, and it's chillin'... Feeling good because my sweat glands aren't being over taxed at this time of night.. Thinking about going in and sitting on the thunder mug, then heading off to bed.. Then this double click sound happens.. Just for a second I thought, what's that about and then the fire whistle goes off.  AGAIN!!  Earlier in the week we had it go off at three or so in the morning.. This was again  again.. And it blew for what seems like forever.. I am out watching the guys show up and they send out the box truck.. The box is the EMT like ambulance response.. That's what I thought.. Somebody was having too much fun.. Then one fire truck pulls out.. Then another.. and another..  We watch as the truck pulls out then up the street to the west and I'm thinking someone huge has fallen and they can't get up, and it's gonna take the fire department as a whole to get him/her up..  Not the case as i went out front and saw the trucks zig zag down the streets.. They can't find the fire??  They get down about three blocks and it looks like smoke down there but it also looks like dust..  What it is??  Turns out it was a house.. Damn, and i would have likely heard the call on the scanner if I were in the house.. I was chillin' outside.. This surprised me that this house burned, I didn't think it was hooked up to the city electricty..   I buzzed around town a little trying to "rubber neck" as much as I felt was good, but I never try to get up close while they are working to get the fire out.. Went home and was listening to the scanner as a few more units from out of town came to help extinguish the fire..

The next day (today) I went up and shot some video.. I'm not a big fan of stopping and getting out and taking pictures.. or gawking as they say, so the video is a quick bit..

One of the things from the fire and this wasn't able to be helped.. My nephew was down for the night (actually for the weekend) and the alarm went off for the fire, in his town they have full pager system, much like they do here, but here it seems some do and a lot of them either don't have pagers or they ignore them.. It seems like we keep having them keep getting called to arms by way of the whistle civil defense alarm..   And so the little guy was all about the fire for the next hour or two.. Now when I saw that the trucks were here in town just a few blocks away I wondered where they were really at, so after things settled down a bit, I snuck out the house to drive and see.. The reason I didn't want the little guy to go with me is my memory of going out with my parents when a fire was broken out just a block away on mainstreet back when I was quite little, and it was a night fire like last night.. And I was traumatized a little (a lot) and I didn't want the same thing to happen to him.. So I done sneaked out to see what was there..

Today the aftermath was in the video..   I wanted to see the before the fire, what it looked like before the fire and looked on Google maps and Google Earth and it was all pixelated out..  Really strange, I thought they might get that like that by Tuesday but literally hours later.  Quite a strange site..

seriouS frustratioN..

What's the difference between this picture here above and the picture below???

Aside from being kinda blurry from being taken by the photographer while being just a little pissed off...  there is a difference.. The picture above is sparse, was taken a couple weeks ago.. the picture below was taken today after mowing.. Lets get another view..

Is this better??? Less blur, yes it is better.. What can we see here??  What did I see??  Why is it important that I took these pictures of the patch that was reseeded a few weeks ago??  Look closely.. Is there a dead body in there??  Nope.. It took me three weeks to grow this.. It's filled in nicely wouldn't you say??   No??  Well why not??    That's right..  If you see what I see you know exactly why the first picture of the now time period is blurry and why I was pissed at it..  What I was trying to rid the lawn of is right there looking healthy and strong..  WEEDS...  Holy shit weeds..  Not just a few.. It looks like I planted them.. I had to have planted them this way, how else could you explain them looking so good???    This was Scott's brand contractors grade (weed) grass seed..  I had Pennington fall mix when I did the area just to the north of this and it looked fine.. This ... there can be no excuse.. I preped the ground.. Set the fertilizer and even went one step beyond, I put plant starter on it last week...  And this is the results.. Three weeks wasted..

Sparse grass and my biggest fear that at the start was if after a week the grass wasn't growing thick, it would allow weeds to grow.. Third week and the weeds look like I meant for them to grow...

This just has a laugh track built in.. SUCKER...

Badge Henry..

(P.S.  So what will be done??  Well after Monday I will tear it all up and reseed with something from Pennington.. Why did I try Scott's??  Well it looked like a good idea.. Was it the price?? Not really, I think it was the words "Contractors Grade" that caught my eye... Why should that mean anything??  I .. Guess I'm a sucker for big words in this case..   Now I think I'll look for words like loser proof.. Grows anywhere... Even a dipshit can get it to grow...   Sure.. I'll be the judge of that..)

(P.P.S. When it comes to guessing if I am doing something right I usually guess right.. In the case of growing grass it's the easiest thing in the world to do.. Or I should say it is normally the easiest thing in the world to do.. This was pure frustration, part of this was beat the clock as I was trying to get the grass to grow before the Labor day weekend being the big town celebration here in Podunk.. So I thought as the last week (final Thursday) of July dawned as I went forward with the partial  tilling of this section for a quick seeding.. I had sprayed roundup on the site... here and there sort of a half ass situation described on another entry.. I tried to seed the section, sure it would work, I had the drip irrigation set to go.. That never failed me.. But when I researched the best time to start new grass early spring was second only to fall seeding.. Seeding in summer was a distant fifth out of the four seasons to try to seed a lawn.. Yeah it was not rated a good time, and wasn't rated ahead of dead of winter.. Just don't the fuck do a summer seeding, you're better off tossing your grass seeds onto a snow bank..    So I won't do that again.. So that's on me..  So what to do about that site??  Leave it..  Actually I'm not sure I want to try a fall planting either.. I more than likely will but I would like to see if this grass is good against weeds because this would be a great trial because.. I'VE GOT WEEDS BY DAMN..   Yep, got weeds like I meant for them to grow.... I already said that.. well let the games begin... )

I F C

This past Sunday was a birthday bash (shindig) for my mom thrown together last minute style by my brothers wife and himself and so that meant get the camera out and video "tape" the event.. (tape in quotations because there really is no tape involved anymore.. It's digital..)  and the wildest things can be caught and one of those things was.. My nephew Ian getting his fan base... His little cousins think the sun rises with this little guy..

And through the actual live event while this was going on, I saw this video clip :

This is just how my mind works..   Sometimes life imitates art...

The video clip above (ian's fan club) was just a clip from the main video, which was edited down to about twenty two minutes.. I would have loved to have put the whole video up to youtube (my alternate account) but I don't think I can upload that long of videos to either youtube account at this time..   However I thinkit might be some of the best video I've shot in a while.. The back yard video when the kids were running and playing was the hardest video to shoot.. At one point I was shooting one thing and commenting on something else out of frame.. The part where Em was walking ever so close to the edge of the wall.. I wasn't video taping that.. The end result of that was a very heroic Ian letting his cousin fall off the wall..   Or earlier shortly after they got here Em went over to console her younger cousin Ryan as he was in an early mood about thinking he was being "dumped" at the daycare .. AKA the dumped at the daycare blues.. She patted him on the head and that part was just out of frame, although I did have her in frame, her patting Ryan was just out of frame.. It'll be all right, Ryan"...   But the standing ovation by Ellye was just ...  and the Em getting on the table and help you mode and knocking the tower over.. TWICE..  Clumsy girl...   Or Ellye falling over that lip on the ramp to the deck.. Getting a bottle to calm the nerves and then walking around and having her sister pull the bottle out of her mouth..  Then Elleye erupted again and all I could say was talk about a rough day... Nothing going your way then having your bottle ripped out of your mouth.. That's harsh..  But overall I did get a lot of video.. Which included the oddest of the odd, Lucy being somewhat involved in the goings on.. She's usually engulfed in her gadget playing a game or sleeping..  But this was her playing with Ryan.. it was quite strange and I got it on video.. She was there.. and it was nice to see..  Labor day weekend is another where we can be busy.. Three days of fun.. Hopefully some more video to edit and put together..

Got the new router yesterday after a week delay.. Got it and it took over an hour to get set up but ..  I got it.. For starters the disc that came with it was useless.. I had t access the router through the ip address and that isn't unusual, the first time I set up a router is usually through the disc that comes with the router.. Or in the case of the dual channel Netgear I got the genie to set it up.. Well this one is a TP-Link and it is very different in that everything was hooked up right. then wrong, then right again and still it wouldn't proceed with the installation..  I go on line, Google everything I can think of to get it to work.. Throw in the towel and then try one last thing, I went to the safe mode on the computer and lo and behold I figured it out.. Then went to the regular mode and it didn't work.. Long story short I got the router to work an then tried something I shouldn't have, I loaded the install disc and ... BIG MISTAKE!!!...  Once the router is set to go then it is set.. Leave it after the reset/restart and it is set to go.. BURN THE FUCKING INSTALL DISC IT IS USELESS...  And it did work, and everyone feasted on lambs, and chickens and ducks and squirrels and wombat puddings...

fartheR ouT

A couple of movies this weekend from the netflix discs rental.. First was Collision.. Quite a movie, with the idea of  a couple going out in the Sahara desert and going to look at ruins they get in a car chase and end up colliding with a broke down car.. Hard to believe something like that could happen in the middle of the desert .. What I thought might be   a movie in the realm of Open Water (about a couple that go scuba diving with a group of tourists and get accidentally left behind)  I thought it was going to be in that area of movie.. It wasn't.. In fact there was enough twists and turns that it kept me guessing..

The second movie from disc was the movie Hours.. This was yet another movie in the long line of movies with the Katrina hurricane as the backdrop to tell a story.. But this was very much worth the watch.. To show what a parent will do for a child.. really a well told story although close to dragging at times, it was just about too long..

Saturday night seems to be becoming movie night, and not just any movie but a movie I've seen many times before.. A few weeks ago it was Can't Buy Me Love, which was a movie that was shown over and over way back when we first got cable tv here and it was twelve channels and Showtime was one of the channels we got on a relatively basic set of channels..  But that movie had as the lead in it Patrick Dempsey he of the doctor mcdreamy on Grays Analogy ..  Anatomy...

Then last week it was Adventures In Babysitting with Elizabeth Shue as the babysitter.. Just one of those cute movies that is fun to watch.. Then this past Saturday night was Thelma and Louise..  That can only be listed as classic..  Girl buddy movie that ended with that classic Butch and Sundance ending...

Because my mom started to work on the old bedroom, Dad's room, and this was in his old briefcase ...  This is sort of a look into how he managed his life.. His work.. Sort of his philosophy of sorts.. :

Isn't that about the truth..

losT iN aislE 9

Has this ever happened to you??  I'm in the store yesterday, the store name isn't important but if you must know it sounds like safeplay.. And we are doing our normal getting of the weeks groceries and I'm next to the deli and I look at something in the display there and just was looking at nothing in particular and I blink and bring my gaze up and look around and think.. "where am I?"...  For just a split second I was lost in...  And for that long I thought is this what dementia is like...  Very scary..

Well got the documentary "End of The Century" watched last night.. Extremely good movie, and really as I said in another entry, the Punk rock movement happened without me.. I was into groups that were the opposite of what they were about.. For instance they played many songs, some thirty songs in an 80 minute set.. Where side two of "The Song Remains The Same" which is the song (singular) Dazed and Confused, the Ramones would have had fifteen songs in that space..  I really like Dazed and Confused but also like to hear more variety in that same amount of time.. On end of the century we got to see the band go from nothing to a group that would tour the world excessively.. Twenty plus years of nonstop touring would go through three drummers and see their original bass player finally  be overwhelmed by his drug addiction.. The most productive heroine addict ever in my books.. How he could play that way and be that messed up is beyond me.. Heroine is the zombie of zombie drugs.. And yet Dee Dee seemed unfazed by it's effects... Not that I think highly of him.. He died shortly after the band broke up of... An overdose..  I guess when you are killing yourself gradually that the day comes when your body takes the hint..   But overall I liked the movie.. It showed how here in America, an American band can work their ass of and play to the same club sized crowds where everywhere else in the world they played would be stadiums full..

I started watching this years Ice Road Truckers recently and I am to the polar vortex episodes.. Where Lisa is stuck in a drift now and so is dumbass Art.. Will they survive??  Well you know they will, the footage was either found after they died (unlikely) or they made it.. Yea, they lived to see tomorrow.. How seemingly stupid are they for going on these runs in that kind of blizzard conditions?? Well not really that  stupid when you consider that they have a satcom cell phones that one of these guys said "duh I shoulda learned to use it before now"... DUH    NO SHIT ART...  Wasn't Art that said that but might be him as well.. But they have the television company team there as well.. They have state of the art communication/tracking/GPS technology.. They aren't gonna die and neither are the subjects they are filming.. The show is becoming a joke.. Who is stupid enough to risk their lives to run to the "most desolate area on Earth"...  They really aren't risking that much.. I'd almost bet that they check the ice thickness on the lakes they cross..  Just very predictable is what I'm saying..

thE looK anD thE feeL oF frustratioN

You want to know what frustrates me more???  The calendar turned to August and the green in the yard turns to what it really is.. And I decide to do something about it, heading it off in late July.. BUT it didn't take.. Getting grass to grow must take an act of congress anymore and with the congress we have now.. IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN...

I used Scotts brand grass seed commercial grade..  or contractor grade.. The mix was different with what looked like a mix of experimental varieties... I do look at what variety of grass there is in the bag and everything, it wasn't just the price although price had a little to do with it.. My feeling is that with the drip irrigation system I use to start grass seed that any kind of grass that I get I can get to start.. But the first time I set it up, it was after getting the weeds out and scratching the top soil.. That worked great ...  or it seemed like a good idea, put the least amount of effort into it.. That turned into a no win and I had to till the area completely.. Then I put a starter fertilizer down, seeded with the hand held spreader and then set the sprinkler up and needed the timer to water in true increments not just guessing.. I went with fifteen minutes with an hour between waterings.. That turned out to be good and bad.. It might have drowned some of the seeds.. But at the week mark the grass was coming up.. I reseeded it again but might abandon the Scotts exclusive and get some Pennington... Can't decide yet.. If we didn't have relatives coming in September I'd leave it to see how it will come up.. My feeling is this should be full by the month mark which will be the day they should be leaving, or day after..

It has turned off hot and dry, the old dog days of summer as it were and these are the exact days where the grass (lawn) turns into what it is.. Either well manucured grass or well growing managed weed patches..  I bought a bottle of weed spray mix and use it in a hand held sprayer.. Earlier towards the end of July I used it on the weeds (lawn) in the back and it seems like the grass as well as the weeds are very happy.. I mixed it lite, so next time I mixed a little heavier and some of the weeds start looking like they are coughing a bit but then came out of it just fine.. Week three I mixed it a bit heavier and some of the weeds took to a orange color.. Orange is the new death and I liked it, but I have no way to start new grass there so I am opting to keep the weeds growing as green until after labor day then zap the crap out of them..   Mom thinks anything green is good.. I showed her the neighbors weeds and tell her that's what's growing here.. She's alright with getting rid of the weeds.. Truth is we (I) watered more this year than I was planning to, but again with my uncle coming I felt I should.. Had he not been coming I think the patch in the front still would have been done, but maybe not until the day after labor day (we have a podunk celebration of loving life in the podunk lifestyle of pudunk) lots of podunkery there...  Anyway I decided that I wanted it done, but knowing now what I didn't bother looking up before hand is that planting a big patch of grass in the middle of the hot zone of summer is  a HUGE  NO   NO  mostly because of the water it takes to keep the seed wet.. Either plant in the spring or fall but never a big area in the summer..  The largest area in the summer should be about a square foot maximum.. And this area is in direct sun for well over 8 hours a day. from nine  until five.. And that is direct sun with absolutely no shade.. I'm happy to have any grass growing there knowing this..

He said he'd be here on Wednesday in the morning.. He said he'd be here in the morning on Wednesday, BUT...  he never showed.. Truth is I always question what they mean when they say they'll be here on Wednesday.. or for that matter any other day.. Many times we've had this  happen where they say we'll be there on this or that day, or a package was promised to be delivered on this or that day.. It'll be Friday.. Ok, when you get the run around you start cracking jokes.. He didn't say which Friday.. Could be the nearest Friday to the day earlier in the week.. Truth is without a date assigned saying I'll see you Friday could easily mean the nearest Friday or in two weeks or next month or ....  Could be I'll see you Friday could easily mean see you Friday.. Leave me alone I'm busy and will maybe see you when I see you.. Thunderation..

See you Friday...

B T S

The three letters in the subject line were the dreaded words I hated to hear at this time of the year.. In fact it seems like as soon as the 4th of July gets over the next thing would be BTS.. and those letters are Back  To SCHOOL   (dun dun dun DUNNNNN!)...  Yes those dreaded words were at least for me meant back to what I hated most.. My classmates that were more torment than anything..

Had to look at routers last week.. The Netgear router I had crapped out.. Sadly it wasn't for anything but my ignorance that I was looking at familiar to replace the one we had before.. This one looked good and the old one was blinking.. Meaning it was on.. off then on again without reason.. That's hard to do anything on the computer online and when you use the roku it really blows.. So the new one lasted 11 months, and the warranty...  Well let's just say Netgear knows the wording to use on that, as well as setting up their web site that gives you the ability after a runaround to realize that after the third time around it begins to feel like one of those "how do you keep a polock busy" jokes.. You know where you write how do you keep a polock busy on both sides of a piece of paper..  So I start looking at routers and with me I try not to impulse buy, on anything ...  It's rare that I get anything without some research going into it.. This router I wanted to be what we need now.. Try to future proof anything, I dare you..   It's a guessing game that will screw you over.. Sure enough they tell you this is the direction the internet is going and sure enough it goes the opposite.. Our internet is what it is and I haven't heard of any update to a new technology coming but sure as shit it might get updated to fiber optic (yeah right...)   So I check with people I know and most of what they know is not much, on the router front.. When I start looking at routers or in the case of earlier in the summer mom was wanting a new computer so I start looking at computers again and the Chrome book starts to look like the way to go.. Trouble is no one has one.  Not in Podunk Nebraska..  So that got shelved.. Now the router is front stage, I've been looking at routers for nearly a week now.. Up until yesterday I looked at routers at sites like Amazon and Walmart and then several other sites..  Went to the local Walmart to maybe buy a router but found nothing that I wanted.. Buying on line is alright, buying in the store is the prefered way especially if you need it NOW.. Which I don't but we are living with a router that was questionable at best a year ago.. That same feeling creeps in when a show gets to buffering on the roku.. Is it crapped out again and for the last time??  I want this router to still have some life to it when I get the new router, so there is that feeling that it might should still work in a pinch.. So which router did I settle on??  A company I had never heard of before.. TP.. The reviews were extremely good on the one I settled on and the reviews were good on ALL of their routers.. So I feel good about this one.. There were other reasons for choosing this router but this was good enough.. Wasn't future proof, it is more for now than anything.. Looking at routers that are more expensive the question of how long will it last creeps in.. The old router we have now is closing in on five years old.. with a year off for bad behaviour.. The more expensive ones are future proof??  Doubtful, they just have extras that might be neat to try but my feeling is that if it's more than a router then it might go to hell quicker. And I really don't need a router/toaster/juicer/George Forman grill combo, I just need a router.. And that's exactly what I'm getting..

anotheR deraileD entrY

When I get the movie End of The Century in the next week or two it will be a return to those times.. There was a point after (actually long after) the initial punk movement where I got into some punk music..  I didn't initially and dismissed it as not being worth time or effort, but then when a group I listened to covered a song by The Ramones I tried the groups original release.. Actually I got a live album with the song on it and thought still that it wasn't my cup as it were.. But then, as with most music I gave it a try and eventually got into them.. Getting several best of compilation albums, and started to get into them.. I don't know when it was that I thought about trying to get more of their studio albums but it just seemed to happen..  But then as quickly as I got into them, I stopped.. Just quite that quickly.. Not that they did a disco album to turn me off.. I just stopped.. With the movie coming in the next week or two it might turn me back on to them.. Like the movie I got a few weeks ago about the New York Dolls I started listening to their music a little.. The difference with the 'Dolls" is that I had only one album of theirs, a greatest hits collection culled from their three albums, and in the compact disc era that could be the entire catalog being placed on the one disc..  And very nearly was.. But the songs are good, but not great.. I liked them, and started looking for more albums by them, but they are out of print vinyl and except for the best of album on disc, were never released in the new medium for lack of interest.. Maybe that will change with the remaining members who are alive touring again now.. Or maybe they have split up by now, who knows..   Then some time back the album set (box set) from Sire records that had so many punk artists and some of it I already had but didn't know they were punk.. Siouxie and the Banshees... I think I figured she was punk, at the very least she was Milly "circus" Cyrus does a lot like Siouxie did twenty years ago.. Why aren't I amazed by lady ga ga.. Same reason.. Not original by any stretch..   Punk music did have their place, and when End of The Century gets here it will be, well... likely it will be cracked as with most good music docs they've been cracked and have to be attempted to get an uncracked (broken) disc..  At least punk was a form of rock music.. That is gone from most music now, the feel, the feeling that there are people playing an instrument on the majority of music out there now..   That's for me, I like my rock groups to be fierce.. Rock it hard and LOUD...   Where was this going???   Um.... tis done  .. nuff..

emptY buT morE

Just watched the movie The Purge last night.. Was it very good??   No, it was borderline suckville but it was... watchable.. Certain aspects weren't very good and some were ok.. It was a movie that was predictable shortly after the opening credits.. Let me put it this way, all the cast members you saw before the purge event started made it out alive except for one.. And all the cast members died after the purge event started except for one.. And I knew he was going to be the reason the family made it out entact.. MOSTLY..   Why was it so bad??  Very predictable and almost I was able to predict the script.. Nothing great about the movie, it was all done in the same neighborhood and for that part the same house, it wasn't a national hunting day on the screen, it was only right there.. it was a little like Death Race 2000 (the new version, not the cult classic, no one gets those two mixed up.. NO ONE!!)  It had it's moments but in the end the thing that bothered me the most about the Purge was the dark scenes.. There is just way too much confusion going on in those dark scenes like that.. You can't tell who is who, bad guy good guy, and in a movie where the objective is to just kill.. Kill or be killed, eat or be eaten ...

I wound up watching the final two episodes of Hemlock Grove last night.. When I first started watching the show it was season one and that was all and so I thought fine, I'll watch it for a while.. Thirteen  episodes and I figured a two week run in the nine o'clock slot.. Two shows in and season two gets added.. Great, 23 episodes and I'm having troubles staying awake through the first few episodes of season one.. But season one was better by FAR than season two.. I think there was more effort in season one.. You gotta see episode two, and twelve of season one.. It will hook you for season two which has few highlights but.. if season one would get four and a half stars, season two gets four...  I'm not a big fan of these type of series shows but movies where they have to clip along, it's easier to get into that way.. But Hemlock Grove is really not a bad series, but as with all series of this kind there is a good amount of lull followed by the final two episodes where shit happens.. ARE YOU AWAKE NOW???...

The big news this week.. The router shit the bed.. Truth is the router we had before this one was good but not very reliable.. In the early days before the Roku was added it was fine.. The laptop was being used and was getting the signal fine.. then the roku was added and that is a few rooms away and the signal was weak but good enough.. Then the old router stopped working.. Then it started working again.. And it did this for several weeks or maybe even a month or two and then I finally said enough was enough and got the new Netgear dual channel router.. What was good about it was the ease to get both channels working.. Using one for my roku and the other for guest uses.. But now we are back to one for everyone and that hopefully will be changed before the end of the summer.. But because of the fact that these two routers have been netgear I feel it's time to try some other company router.. So the hunt is on..

anD theN yesterdaY happeneD

So mom begins the task of cleaning her and dads bedroom, and stumbles upon my box of magazines.. DUH DUH DUH DUUUUHHHHH,,,  Not those magazines, I have a collection of Mad, Cracked and Circus magazines.. These were what I read when I was growing up.. And the collection has been sitting in a box for quite a while.. Then a few years back I looked at some of them.. With the idea of just looking i guess, back a few years back I thought there might be a market for these.. Fast forward to yesterday and I start to look at them again.. Nice but dated.. They were dated for me for some of it in the greatest hits collections that were from the 60's or so and so I just went with it.. To the now where the humour is still classic but dated..   Well I looked and the decision was made.. I'll keep it all for yet, forever??  Well then I looked through the Mad and Cracked magazines and thought I haven't looked at them in how long before now and before however long it was before.. I looked yesterday and will look over the next week or so but the new decision was reached that I will likely try to sell (read give away) the magazines.. Is there a worth for these?? Could there be a market?? To me they are priceless (in other words junk I guess).. I was hoping that the day might come where I could pass these on to my son or nephew but my son never happened because my perspective wife died I guess and my nephew has no real desire to learn how to read (not recreationally, he will learn to graduate from school (hopefully) )  and so the trash heap looks like where they will end up.. Not so sadly, I do have two rather sizable books with a lot of the best of MAD magazine material in them plus a few special collection books and I will keep a handful of magazines, the ones I just won't part with.. So I will put in Facebook selling site for sale a shitload of Mad, Cracked and Circus magazines.. Circus is a rock magazine that I followed the groups from my youth such as KISS and Pink Floyd which were never covered  enough in my opinion.. Such as it is.. ...
