This might be a mistake

This is gonna be kind of a year in review entry.. Likely the final entry of this year.. Anyway, remember back in August when we got all that crappy windy weather??  That wind that destroyed my dads memorial tree.. Well the tree returned by some miracle.. And I vowed to water it at least once a month..

From the day my mom pointed out that the tree was coming up out there it has been my mission to try to keep it alive and that did mean watering it once  a month.. So every month i have watered it.. October was easy, I was still watering the lawn periodically, November I watered it a week before Thanksgiving, it turned off cold and I thought I'd have to water by watering canteen in December and I did do that.. I'm getting ahead of myself here.. In late October the leaves finally fell and I put a big pile on the tree, as well as have four other "mulch" areas.. I tried to keep these areas wet and in December, about two weeks before Christmas it was 70 degrees here .. Hard to believe now that the month is about over and we won't see 32 degrees until the first part of January. But I kept the leaves pile on the tree wet.. There were three days in that span in early December that we had 60 to 70 degrees and I watered that pile two of the days, one day by watering canteen the other by the hose, yes I chanced it and unrolled the hose.. The initial idea was to leave three watering sprinkler, spot watering sprinklers, in the three places (the pumpkin patch, the ally planter and the tree in front there) keeping them in place for the season (winter) unless it was forecast to get very cold or snow.. We had gotten winter storm watches and warnings through the earlier parts of the late fall there but nothing delivered, so why did I make a strong effort to get the hoses rolled up after the third strike out by the weather service??  Because eventually they are right, and this time was it.. We got SNOW.. About nine inches there abouts and we got buried.. When I shoveled the sidewalk I placed a lot of the snow on the tree out there.. covering the tree and leaves in about a foot of extra snow.. That should keep me from having to water for a while.. Then Christmas day we got more snow..  Three or four more inches but who could tell with the wind.. Clearing the sidewalk I again piled even more snow on the tree.. This might be a mistake, I'm not sure.. But the leaf pile was wet before we got snow.. How wet the leaves were is anyones guess, I stuck my finger in there and it was good and wet on that Friday before we got that snow storm the next Monday/Tuesday.. So I think it was wet, froze as the snow fell, froze good then got the first piling on, and then the second piling on later..

The amount of snow on there now is over three feet as I tossed snow from the driveway as well.. As I said this is an experiment that started in September with seeing the tree reemerge from the trunk.. Hopefully it won't kill the tree..  I've never done this before.. Yes I do put as much snow on the grass as I can.. but that is way different than this tree thing.. The other mulch areas are looking fantastic with snow covering the leaves.. Should make good growing areas again this year, as this is the first growing season that will have the leaves covering that I could deliver, all years previous had what I raked up, this year was the first with the mower with the grass catcher..  These areas were watered the same as with the tree, watering canteen and then the sprinkler, with the sun going down so quickly and I couldn't start watering before noon until the hose was warm enough to use.. You really notice how fast the sun sets when you really only have three hours to water then drain the hose then roll it up..

This year started ominously with mom falling on the very first day.. Her knee bruising up from that and it went downhill from there.. I started a campaign to flush twice.. Let's give 2015 a great sendoff..

A special little video for the year that has been total crapola.. For various reasons.. Most of which was the losing of a niece.. That was tougher than anything..   So please flush twice this Thursday.. Send 2015 on it's merry way..

So Christmas came and went.. And this little little event happened.. About a week after Tabitha's funeral mom comes and tells me "you remember that trip we took to Sterling" ( a town we had been wanting to trek to for a month but never really got to it until..) we went towards the very end of September, I was needing a pair of new shoes and so we went down there.. We had stopped at the usual haunts and the last being Wallgreens and we did some Christmas looking, as we were prone to doing, yeah even the end of September..
Mom had had  a tiff with Tabitha just prior to us going down there and this shows you what kind of person my mom is, while she was still upset with her she still thought of her when we were there as she saw this stuffed toy, an owl, and thought to get it for her as a Christmas present.. Mom was only  a little upset, but even though she was she still thought about her.. And so the week after her funeral she reminded me of that trip and this owl that she got for her..

One of the greatest gifts that mom received for Christmas was a blanket.. I had tried to get her a blanket from Walmart and was all set to get her one when they had sold out of the one I wanted to get her.. Likely this was a good thing.. My brother and his wife got mom a blanket for Christmas and as she pulled it out of the box it was in I looked and didn't think much about it.. She just felt it, and it was nice.. After my little brother and his family left, I went out and shoveled the walk, just in case my older brother and his family would stop later.. Turns out they did shortly after I got done.. I went into the house and grabbed that box with the blanket in it.. Pulled the blanket out and started to unfold it.. Turns out the side that was showing was the back side, the white side, the side that would be touching her, the other side was pictures of the twins.. I saw that and couldn't believe it..  I can be such a girl.. just the emotion of that was just amazing.. So cool and really beyond description.. Which brings me to the final bit here..

I started writing about Tabitha and trying to wrap my head around the entirety of everything that has happened since she passed away.. Even trying to start as far back as her early life (grade school) but every time I tried I stopped and couldn't continue.. From the week after her funeral to a week before Thanksgiving I tried to write and just couldn't.. There was too much conjecture, too much made up and guessing and filling in the blanks with what I can only call educated and uneducated guesses.. Tabitha was very smart, extremely so and that worked for her a little and against her a lot.. She over thinked things to the point as my brother said to the point where she would think it to death.. and not get anything accomplished.. She would use Google to her advantage and would find things about a symptom one of the girls had and then beat it to death.. Until proven wrong, or right, or just exhausting that avenue before going down another.. She died pretty much the way she lived with questions dangling over her.. There was no proven reason that she dies, which is to say her health was bad, she had pancreatitis which is extreme abdominal pain and was on pain killers (very potent) and that was part of the reason of her death.. She medicated herself, and with these pills you can only get away with that for so long and it finally caught up with her.. That fateful Sunday/Monday.. Her vital organs were shutting down, they were in serious shape from being in that kind of pain and taking that kind of medication.. I remember my older brother saying he wouldn't be surprised if she died by her 25th birthday.. She was 29..

Writing about her from that day back to when the twins were born and then forward beyond her death there were so many open spaces about literally everything that I couldn't write about it.. I couldn't even guess even remotely.. It is sad to say that but we weren't that close to her, and the problem really is that not even her parents could say they were very close.. She kept many secrets. She kept things secret and lied about other things..  Sadly that might be as well a contributor to her demise.. No one is an open book.. No one is fully transparent, no matter what they say everyone has a secret or two or twenty..

Well anyway the big events in the year are always the ones we wish never happened.. This year was a horrible year and truth be told this is probably just the start of horrible times.. It can get worse??  Sadly yes it can.. With Tabitha dying it has opened up a whole new can of worms that are just starting to be worked out and sadly could end up where her twins are no longer being taken care of by the people who have been taking care of them from the beginning of their lives.. What is really sad and I have told mom this.. If this guy gets them, we likely will never get to see them in person ever again.. This is not exaggeration, the (baby daddy) (sperm donor) father lives five hours away and the likelihood that he will let my brother and his wife see them very regularly could be very unlikely, he doesn't have to.. And the chances of them being up here are very low.. And the truth is.. i hate to say this.. It might be better if we don't see them again.. Not at least until they are older.. Ten to twelve years old.. Maybe even longer.. It will be tough on all who are involved mostly my brother and his wife..  I think if I were in their shoes what I would do.. The guy (the SD) has no reason to want these girls, no emotional attachment so he really is trying to get money from the government.. Quite the wrong reason to want kids because these girls are special needs kids, and every penny that Tabitha got from the government was spent on these girls care.. And then some as my brother and his wife would spend money of theirs on them as well..   Will this guy care for them the same way they are supposed to??  Highly unlikely.. I hate to think of the outcome on that reasoning.. Really not very good if you ask me but then.. Who knows.. He might be a good guy, responsible ..  Not the villainest douche that we were lead to think of him..    Naw he's a P.O.S. very little doubt.. But you never know..

(P.S. I'm really to the point right now.. today being the 4th of January, that I want the snow to fuck off.. not melt  all together, just not be so much out there.. I worry about the tree in the front.. I piled it on there and am a little nervous that it will not be good for it.. I've never piled the snow on to anything like a tree before.. Had the tree developed enough to stick up out of there I wouldn't feel so bad.. I really piled it on the little guy, hope it survives..)

(P.P.S. here it is the 25th of January.. A month plus having the snow covering the tree out there, although it has started to melt a little. I figure it might be March before the snow is completely gone from that tree.. It had been 50 degrees on Saturday, and that melted the snow down to where we had about 50% of the entire yard covered.. There on the tree is under three feet covered.. It was really covered, three plus feet on it back when this entry was written.. And I didn't pack it, I just tossed the snow on there.. Hopefully this doesn't ruin the tree completely.. I was talking to mom about a replacement for that tree before she saw it was coming back.. Then last week I started talking about a memorial tree for Tabitha.. What should that be??  The tree that we got for dads memorial was  a red maple, kinda like the one at the dialysis  center there in Fort Collins, I think dad was impressed with it like I was..  What would be great for Tab.. Well.. Sadly the tree mom got for her when she was born is quite healthy, and grown quite tall in the back, the pine tree closest to the ally.. And I say sad because while most trees can out live the person they were planted for, this tree is still thirty or more years away from being very tall at all.  It might be half as tall as it will ever get.. She never had much of a chance.. The memorial tree should be ..  interesting.. Something really cool.. Musical.. free spirit.. )

all us videos are the same

The project was done.. All the music was chosen and all that was left was to put the video together.. Video one would be with Christmas Time is Here by the late great Vince Guraldi Trio..  But which version??  I knew which version I wanted and decided to load all the different music I thought might be worth trying.. Then when all the pictures were done I picked the Patti Austin vocals version from the Happy Anniversary Charlie Brown album.. That is just ... Brings out the emotion for me and felt good with the video here..  Now in the lower setting for the blog here all the effects I set for the videos are in full force, those that show are really what I am after.. Some didn't show and they are disappointing but still worth having..

Video two... There was only supposed to be the one video but as I was completing the first video a song popped into my head and I decided to try to use it although not  a christmas song.. Perpetuum Mobile by the Penguin Cafe Orchestra.. And although the video is fairly close to the same as the first video there are a few differences, as these were done a day apart from each other..

The third video..  simply entitled everything else.. And this has three Guraldi songs... The first video and for that matter the entire project was going to be the memorial video with a few things changed and the music being way different.. But I thought I rather wanted this to be all the kids, the twins and the boys.. Then I changed my mind as pictures were being doctored.. The first two videos contained everything I had done.. Then I tried a few more and added them to the project done file.. Some 8+ pictures were completed so for the third video I had a lot to use.. And put them all together, including several ideas that weren't used in the first two videos.. So video three is sort of the in depth video or "box set" type of thing.. Not something that I like to do normally but I thought why not.. So that is what video three is.. A few ideas that weren't completed and a few that didn't hit with me for the other videos..

(P.S. Don't make the videos large, the effect is perfect in small screen... )

Are you sure you want to say that??

We got a new hospital recently... And thankfully we did i mean holy shit we needed one what with the one we had falling apart...   Check it out, they are so proud..
Here is the original picture as it appears in the paper showing the proud establishment.. I've been in there, it is quite the building.. But...  check out how some people see it..

Ominous clouds in this version of the picture of the hospital.. The signs are clear, I mean look at those, two of them, with one saying enter at your own risk, talk about enter with you own peril..  Is there an ambulance bay???

Who was their interior decorator??  Benihauna??  But seriously, this would be a really cool biker bar.. Skull and crossbones ... Name your poison..

Speaking of poison, name it.. This is on the wall, the prices of the drinks you want, the imagination YOU CRAVE...  Where's the dog.. Hair of the dog to be exact.. Nazareth hair of the dog playing in the background..

The boardroom, where life and death decisions are made and how much was in the bottom of that tequila bottle.. The worm has turned.. The proud display of the company emblem.. let's get ROCKED..

Are you hungry??  Are we cannibals??  Was that Mike we just ate.. Find out here...

They pull out toenails don't they.. Well.. Sure as why not.. The latest in toenail pulling technology, we do it all here says the CEO of Hopspital George by George ...  We can do it all  and we even use our thumbs now..

The wading room where that buzzing sound you hear is the latest in sound manipulation to keep you from hearing the screams that are withing farting distance of the waiting room.. Do be proud because if that system ever fails they have to use the goof gas to make you pass out..

So there it is, the new hospital known by it's full name of Sidney regional gaff and fuck hostpital.. "Where we will continue to give you the care you are used to".. Well thank god.. Hate to see them go out of their way to bump up to a two star hospital.. Stay loose, stay in that one star laughing stock place.. "Having surgery done there??  I heard they read you your last rites BEFORE you  go in.. unlike before when they would wait until you "accidentally" died"...

Badge Henry..

(P.S.  I'm only joking..  Sort of.. ) (P.P.S.  Seriously they had a tour back in October, we went on a windy as shit day.. They get us to the birthing area and they say here are jacuzzi in here and I walk around the open door to see... Two of the nicest toilets I have ever seen.. And I say quite loud enough to be heard by all "We have one of those.. But we call it a toilet..."   Much laughing and jocularity ensues and we went to the bar and got drunk.. Really did that really happen??  NO.. )

The Christmas blues

There is no other time like the holiday time.. Around Thanks giving is when I start to feel the despair that is what the next two holidays provide.. And.. Back when my dad passed away I remember going to the different stores and just being numb and knowing he wouldn't be there that year.. or any other for that matter.. And every year that the last week of October starts and thinking about those last few days were hard.. And still are.. This year we had another loss and it was so strange that I felt almost the same identical feelings as that final week between finding out she had died and then the funeral.. The parallels of the two..  And the feelings of the holidays we have been through and the two hard ones to come.. Christmas was never the same after dad passed away, and now again we all have to endure again as we go through it all again..

I started to watch Holiday movies and stuff like that.. I won't put the trailers up again but just figure it is the same as last year.. Bad Santa, Christmas with the Kranks, A very Murray Christmas and of course Love Actually and with that one, yes I know it is sappy and really nobody else likes it but it is special to me because as I said before it was one of the last if not the very last movies my dad ever rented on disc.. So with every scene that sparks emotion to anyone else sparks that emotion ten fold for me.. Dad if you are watching.. That one is for you, every year...  You will always be missed...

done then..

The videos are done.. Videos plural meaning more than one.. Truth is I couldn't just do one.. And when I got to the second I got ideas for a few more picture type of ideas..

Initially the idea was to use the memorial pictures almost exclusively.. Then I decided this should be Christmas and therefor make a christmas video.. Also I was going to do all the kids pictures but again the twins were the majority of the pictures used.. Here is Linus with the tree Charlie Brown picked..

And here is Ryan or more to the point Ryan's head ...

Emy lou whoo with a bulb that the grinch almost left behind..

And here is with Ely Whoo... Inscribed on the bulb.. Here grinch clause..

The videos were uploaded today and just as quick as they got uploaded I got a email telling me about copyright infringement... Gotcha, I never heard of that.. At least thirty videos from before but that's alright..

These videos will be view able at the at the same site that Tabitha's memorial video is but will only be viewed there from the 23 through the 28th...   sorry I fear there will be repercussions from this and don't want to take a chance..

Busy doing nothing everyday

Well I have been sort of busy.. Cleaning out the bootlegs last week saw me try to figure out which concerts to keep and which not to.. Then I hit the Saga bootlegs and that screwed up my disc.. So then it was what to do about it.. There were so many bootlegs by Saga that it was too much for a cd.. So what then.. Well I decided to do a dvd and that meant adding to the collection which saw me add every album I had, go online and get the last two studio albums I didn't have and also the other three live albums I didn't have..  Getting everything set to go and it took until about seven last night after working on it from Saturday.. All 21 studio albums, seven live official releases, some ten or twelve bootleg shows and a few cool odds and ends and this set was simply dubbed EVERYTHING.. Which is close to what it was.. a few tracks edited and it all fit.. So after that I started looking for Christmas pictures..  Why??

The next video project reared it's head in the most strangest of ways.. I started looking for christmas pictures and clip art and stuff.. Why??  I was well into getting all these pictures before I figured out what was going on.. This video was going to be with all the younger generation, my nieces and nephews but when all was said and done it has become a sort of memorial video that will be more for the holiday than anything else.. And unlike the actual memorial video, this is a true project.. The pictures that were picked out for the memorial video I didn't touch... much.. i mean I did touch them up  a little mostly lightening them up where they seemed like they needed it.. In this project the pictures are really being doctored.. They will still be recognizable but most of them are really changed to fit what I want to do with them.. The song will be Christmas time is here by Vince Guraldi... At least that much is certain.. And how it will all look?? Good question.. This will be completed hopefully by next Wednesday.. Just in time for Christmas..  And will be uploaded to.. Well there is the hitch.. I'm not sure where to put it.. It will either go to this blog.. Phudge Nuts, or.. Another blog which has been neglected for the past five years.. Might be time to start it right up.  What a way to do it too..

A new idea

Yeah, this one popped into my noggin early this morning and it is very simple. The years we are currently in is .. has been a shitty year.. From the start we should have known it was going to suck .. Mom started by falling on New Years day and fell several more times, has had nothing but shit troubles with all sorts of minor health issues from colds to viral infections to... Well you name it.. Then as everything seemed to be balancing out we have a loss in October..  The greatest loss you can have and so with that in mind I want to start a campaign and it really is quite simple and only costs a few pennies.. if you could, take the time on the 31st of December at about nine in the evening to just flush your toilet twice.. the reason is quite simple, 2015 has been a turdtastic year and it would just be a mental thing more than anything else.. FLUSH TWICE... Help us flush this shit filled year down the bowels of the sewer system..

Ah.. remember that one from school...

What did I watch this weekend??  Actually not very much but there was one movie that I feel like everyone should watch.. I'll gush about it here in  a minute, first the fairly disappointing movies..

The Rediculous Six.. This was Adma Sandlers attempt at making a sort of Blazing Saddles movie.. Sadly he missed the mark by a long ways.. But it's an ok movie just not Blazing Saddles by any stretch..

Baron Manfred von Richthofen (The Red Barron) was quite the force back in World War one.. The story is quite good. The part where he wanted his airplane painted different from all the other planes.. He wanted it red.. Blood red, he wanted people to fear him.. And the early stages of the fighting it was more viewed as a sport rather than deadly war combat.. Shooting the planes down but then finding their pilots and making sure they were ok.. That was just about the oddest part and wouldn't surprise me if that was in fact the way it was..

Tiger House was more suspense than thriller.. This one the girl is the hero.. Not initially  the tough, that changed when she was the one clever enough to hide.. Really a love story when you think about it..

Slingshot.. The first line in this is repeated at the very end of the credits sequence.. Listen.. It is very important..   This movie is about Dean Kamen, the inventor of the segway, that odd contraption that lets you get around at walking speed without having to walk.. Neat contraption but it never completely took off..  Not to worry, he is an inventor and that is what this movie shows.. It was he who was instrumental in fully developing the parateniel dialysis which is basically injecting a solution of dialysate into your abdomen and it takes the place of kidney function when your kidneys are in failure mode.. He developed clean water system and other things but it was the clean water filtering system that has been his primary work, trying to get these things into test in real day operation and trying to distribute them worldwide..  Clean water is the key to the world getting along.. The haves and have nots of the world will get along much better if they don't have to worry about where a clean glass of water will come from...  This movie is a must watch by everyone who take clean water for granted.. That means you.. and everyone who reads this.. Watch the movie... SLINGSHOT..  You will be glad you did..

Here is where it gets weird

It was classic movies weekend at the home box office watching movies.. First part 2

Back to the Future part II (2)  and it brings up a lot more questions.. Truth be told they should have filmed the first with the idea of there going to be a sequel, the dance scenes in the gym could have contained Marty in the trench coat thing there.. But aside from that.. It is a good movie and a nice sequel..

Coyote Ugly was Friday nights movie.. This of course I had seen it.. It's like Spring break meets animal house.. Well not really.. it's a love story.. Aren't they all??

Top of the classic heap is... 2001: A Space Odyssey and this movie I started Thursday and finished it Saturday night.. Through the entire movie and watching it, it really only gets going after the intermission (yes there is an intermission built in)...  As I watched it this time I try to immagine the Pink Floyd score because in case you didn't know they were being considered as the band to score this movie.. Try to thing that their albums Atom Heart Mother as well as parts of the album More and Ummagumma (the experimental parts) as well as Astronomy Domine were parts thought that would be perfect as well as Zabriske Point..  The thinking was Atom Heat Mother Suite would have been extended, think the live version which was almost twice as long as the studio version.. Would have worked quite well..  Alas the reason they didn't do the soundtrack??  They  couldn't get along with Kubrick..

Numb

I have said I have no idea how to fix this and nothing has changed with the dozen or more shootings that have taken place since the last time I wrote about this.. The truth is the day is coming very quickly when everyone will be able to say my friend/family member was in a mass shooting.. as a victim and like I said that day is coming very quickly.. The epidemic that is gun violence is beyond my comprehension. It's almost like if there wasn't a dozen we don't pay attention.. well how many will get he attention of those in Washington to do something??   Something, ANYTHING.. Talk about, start to try to do something.. Or at best just pretend you fucking care..    That will never happen as long as the gun lobby has the NRA lobbying for their guns..
Nowhere does it state let any idiot have a gun... Apparently IT DOES.. There should not only be background checks but getting a gun should be sacred, and should be treated like a great thing that happens in your life.. limit the number of guns someone can buy in their lifetime..  Make buying a gun take an effort to do, if it is important to get a gun, make them go through radical background checks and go through gun training and safety that can take up to 18 months to complete and even then there should be a weapons review board somewhere.. How to go about this??  I don't know, but something has to change and very soon.. I don't want to eventually be writing about someone I know or am related to was killed in one of these shootings..

The great white wide open

A little sadness today as I'm uploading material that I got in the final week of September and the days before that fateful day in October.. The final week of May, all of June and the first little bit of July will have that stuff.. Really no difference and it only reflects to me what it was or when it was.. I remember fairly vividly because of a few of them were gotten the tenth of October.. I usually clean out the pictures (memes) and set them on the flashdrive where they are placed in order of alpha-numeric order, but that isn't the way that Faststone sets them, they are placed in order of receiving so.. That means the first weeks of  October has been being used in the past few days and that stretches over a month (I was very busy up until that week, and then everything just stopped for a solid week.. )  And then things gradually picked back up again..

A hint of not ending the blog has crept in.. That's right, I'm thinking about continuing on with Phudge Nuts on parade.. The blog that means nothing..  Why was I going to end it??  I don't know, why was I doing it in the first place... But you know things that make no sense sometimes make the most sense.. In a word why not.. I guess that's two... Whynot.. Why not do it, continue until....  infinum... We'll see...

Cyber Monday barf

I wasn't sure if I had a mouse or not.. Set this in the old bedroom, and this morning.. Well there was a commotion.. I thought either Skootr was having fun at four in the morning.. After a while the curiosity got the best of me, I grabbed the flashlight to see what she was doing.. The mouse tap was gone.. But the can wasn't there, wasn't caught in it.. Then I saw where the mouse trap went to.. There was a mouse in it.. And it was still ALIVE!! How you might ask.. The mouse must have not liked the bait that was in it. He must have decided to show me how disgusted in the bait he was by shitting in the bait area and the trap caught him.. I've never seen a mouse get caught by the ass... So shortly Skootr makes a triumphant visit, she has that wild eyed look like she knew something was up, I couldn't decide what to do with the mouse, should I take to the bathroom and give it a chance on the waterslide or..  So I thought I'll just let Skootr do her deed.. She walks into my room, wild eyed like she knew something was up.. In the mean time the mouse made more noise and all I could think was I hope the trashcan holds him there.. There is no way he could get loose with this thing strapped to it's lower body..

So Skootr gets over there dives down and starts to investigate.. I hear a commotion and then it gets eerily quiet.. So I figure I'll let her negotiate the terms of surrender.. Tasty not tasty..  And I shut the light out and tried to get back to sleep.. Shortly after this I felt her walk across me and I thought "GAME OVER cat 1 mouse 0"...  I wake up later in the morning check the trap and it is EMPTY... Where is the mouse??  Wholly shit, the mouse is gone, skootr set it free...  Well now wait a minute, maybe he is there by the trashcan..  Nope.. The mouse is GONE.. Turns out there is a dead mouse downstairs in the dinning room. Was it's ass perforated??   I couldn't tell, I picked it up and waterslided it.. Then Sunday the reset trap had nailed another mouse shoulder blade area, another normal kill..  Water slide and reset.. What is the most I've ever caught??  More than there, less that seven..   The trap above being my favorite.. Second choice is this one :
Such a genious design, the tilt trap.. So easy to set and humane too.. Unless of course you are me and believe mice can hold their breath for five terrifying seconds as they make the whirrlpool trip down the waterslide.. Set them free??? I do.. They can be free if they can hold there breath for five seconds.. Come on sport..

What I watched this weekend movie wise.. Strange weekend is what this weekend was.. Friday I watched Back to the Future

Back to the future is a favorite movie and I got the box set a few years back at Christmas time in one of the trades with my brother that saved both of our Christmases that year..   I fully intended on watching the trilogy but Saturday saw me get sidetracked and and then we had something to do that afternoon in a wild blowout shindig that saw me get sicker as the minutes passed.. I've never been in a situation where I couldn't get cold..  It was twenty degrees out and it still wasn't cold enough..

So Sunday morning saw me out of it watching this sequel to Fletcher, Fletch Lives.. Kind of a cool way to try to both watch and not care what was on.. This is on Crackle on the roku and yes it has commercials but.. Thems the breaks..

The Art Of More, I had seen this advertised and decided to try it.. After a day of blurrily watching football and that included last nights great game of the week from Denver, I watched The Art of More, a series on Crackle.. I seem to go towards Crackle every now and then when I want something different.. They have a lot of cool series including Chosen, a series I think I've seen all of but I'm not sure.. You get the gist on that, every episode is short.. I guess it's a way to show they are different than regular tv..  In the case of The art of more the name of the show tells it all.. It is an art type of series.. I watched/dozed through episode one.. I'll try to watch it all and give a better final review..

That helps

Source material for yesterday's entry "with or without"  This above is the Full Withing Temptation Black Symphony concert which can't be watched here in the United States anymore... I was lucky to get it when I did..

The bonus concert which is still watchable here and very much worth watching...

Let Us Burn, the latest concert..  Faster is the third song some seventeen minutes in.. There is a long conceptual overture before the band hits the stage pretty much the same as Black Symphony, if you are able to ever see it..

Whadya watch over the weekend??  Well I had a Rocky fest weekend.. Started with the first movie and went through to five.. First off.. Rocky

The first movie in a series is more often than not the best of them all.. Down on his luck boxer Rocky Balboa is a collector of debts for a loan shark.. Fairly goodhearted and wanting the local woman at the pet shop to date him, his luck changes when the champ Apollo Creed gives a relatively unknown a shot at the title..

Rocky II is a close second in the series being the second movie and a good tell for Rocky who just barely lost in his bid to with the title..

Rocky III, the beginning of the wheels falling off but still a good movie overall... Rocky, now the champ gets harassed into fighting Clubber Lang with the help of Apollo Creed coming to the help of his old nemesis when Sylvester Stallone writes Micky out of the series.. Take that..

Rocky IV.. The wheels are falling off the franchise as Adriane pleads for Rocky to retire but Rocky listens like the jock he is by going off to Russia to fight  a steroid using blood doping ruskie after he pulverizes his friend Apollo Creed..
Rocky V.. that is Rocky five.. The fifth is the saga that is.. wait, was that a tire we threw there??  Yes the wheels are falling off the franchise and yet it seems to move along.. In this installment Rocky gets the bad news, his brain is turning to jelly, and in fact it is getting hard where the grey matter that is dead brain cells, and is told by everyone retire or die.. So Rocky ignores them all, trains a kid to be just like him and then street fights him in an epic battle of good versus really not good, greedy little bastard, ungreatfull little worm.. And dies in the process.. or  does he..And who cares..

There was one more in the series, Rocky Balboa but it is currently unavailable at Netflix.. Just as well I did watch it from disc on Netflix a couple years ago or whenever it was.. Not impressed but I felt I should watch it.. Now the new movie based on the Rocky series "Creed" has Rocky helping out Apollo Creed's kid.. In theaters shortly or now or whenever.. It might be worth a view. Hard to say.. did they find the wheels??  Anyway..

With and without

It's been a while but..  Here is the latest album I put together..

This is the promotional video for the new Within Temptation compact disc release "Compilation Live" hitting the shelves on December first ...  The song title is "All I Need"...  Now a little back story for this...: For the past year or maybe even two I have had these concerts by Within Temptation and they were (are) YouTube acquisitions and I really like the entirety of all four but there are songs that stand out more than others.. So I would fast forward and try to remember which song was on which concert.. So in the past three months the project started to nag on me to get this idea done or at the very least try it..  A live compilation.. Trouble with a live comp album is the crowd noise rarely if ever matches up.. And so with that in mind is where I started from on this disc.. I checked mostly that at the start/end of the songs to try to match up the crowd noise as best I could.. It never does work completely like I think it will.. But this was close, there are only  a few times it didn't work out.. The shows this was taken from were :"Black Symphony, Black Symphony bonus concert, Let Us Burn deluxe edition (two disc, four concert set)..   The song set is as follows :  track one Dangerous, Dangerous was new to me coming from disc two of the let us burn set... Quite the opening track it sets the tone early that this show is going to be a lot of fun.. Track two Faster, Faster was the big hit off of their latest studio album Hydra..  It hit the top of the charts world wide.. Everywhere but America where the retards rule the scene.. I shouldn't say that but America stays in the rap is the best music in the world mentality, or Justin Bieber is the greatest.. What does he play, what instrument does he play??   That's right.. He doesn't play ANYTHING.. I digress, Faster is the second track and is the best song after Dangerous.. You get the feeling they will all be the best song.. That is what a hand picked best of is supposed to be.. Track three End of the World, a nice slow down from Dangerous speed, and Faster heavy rock sound.. Track four, Restless.. Restless is from the Black Symphony bonus show and is one of those seriously great ballads that this band produces on every record, but restless shows Sharon's voice off right now... Stand My Ground, track five is just as good as you remember, sort of the only filler song on the entire set..   Track six : Somewhere, a return to the ballad side of things.. Duet with Sharon den Adel  and Anneke van  Giersbergen from the Gathering another great duet and the third slower song in a row.. It might seem odd to have these songs appear so early in this compilation but it holds true to the set arrangement from their Let Us Burn album when they hit the softer side of their music by the forth song..  track seven is Angels, another slower song but again another rather huge hit for them..  Track eight The Last Dance, while not a hard rocking track, it is one of those that signals the end of the slow down.. Now we're gonna turn on the jets.. Track nine, Covered by Roses gets things moving again and there won't be another slow song until you hit rewind.. Track eleven Sinead...  What can I say, this one.. Gangster on the loose, tough and sassy... Sinead is a tough..  Silver moon from the Let Us Burn second disc, was really  a filler track but became more, it pushed another track out.. Damn you compact discs for being limited to 79 minutes..  The promise gets things really moving, like you knew after Dangerous these guys can kick it into the high gears without being in the low gears.. No warm up needed..  Mother Earth is track fourteen and is that sound that Within Temptation would be known for and the reason people either love them or really love them..   Finally the track All I Need rounds out the show.. A really nice slow down song with a powerful message, it was why I picked it to end the set.. Not a ballad, it has that first part of KISS "Black Diamond" feel to it but the orchestra really helps make this a very powerful song.. Interesting side not here, the promotional video above isn't the same version used on this album, The version above was from the Black Symphony show, where the version on the disc was from the bonus show, a completely different show all together. How do I know??  Sharon's hair has a dark red streak in it in the video above, where the bonus show it's not there.. Also the version on the disc is much more powerful, they used a chamber orchestra on rather than a full orchestra and vocalists on the main show..

So there you have it.. The album that won't ever see the light of day.. OR WILL IT??

That's twice now..

So... This past Friday we were down at the Walmart to do our usual Friday grocery shopping and.. I break away and head towards the chest freezers and am just looking to look more than anything else and.. when suddenly this lady who lives just across the street and corner comes up to me and says I know what is going on, aren't you excited.. I know she is on Facebook and she likely saw the "news" that I saw earlier in the day.. Aren't you excited??... Well, about what??? I bait her, I know exactly what she is talking about, but I bait her, act all innocent like I know nothing.. And she says well you're going to be a great grandfather or.. not that.. a grand..  great.. she stammers a bit on then says well you know what you are going to be.. I read it on facebook..  You read it wrong there sister.. Here is what it says .. :
So if you are not friends with my wife or you are wondering what is going on, the news is we are going to have another boy come early April.

And she saw the lower part, not the date on it.. I tell her yup, he was born on the 4th of April.. Almost three years ago, name is Ryan and a little ornery boy..  She looks at me in total shock... I tell her that was one of those news things from back a few years they do that at Facebook sometimes.. Sort of a remember when type of thing.. Well...  Then to change subjects she asks well have you gotten your turkey yet.. I say no, we are still searching for a place to run one over, we like ours free range and fresh with just a hint of axle grease marinating it.. She said WHAT??? Really???   Why not..

Movies this past weekend were many.. I guess..  But a few oldies and some start and not finishes..

Gothika.. Kind of a psycological movie.. Girl is a doctor at a mental hospital, girl gets into an accident and gets tossed into her nut house hospital and finds out they are accusing her of murdering her husband..  Twists and turns and while I'm thinking it is going in one direction it actually goes in another.. Really good movie..

The Enemy Below.. Here is a classic movie with the commander of a war ship going against the commander of a U boat or submarine.. A very good classic movie with the challenge of two commanders trying to out think each other.. Who will win??

A Simple Plan... Seemed harmless enough.. These three guys are out on New Years Eve day and find a crashed plain and in that plain is a stash of 4 million dollars.. What could possibly go wrong??  Quite the twist in plot.. It had a feel of Fargo to it but ... not... But a fairly good movie none the less..

Other shows I watched was :America's secret D-Day disaster.. About the dress rehearsal for D-Day that went horribly wrong but was kept out of the history books until quite recently..

Psychic Investigators.. Interesting show and thankfully just the half hour variety.. Farfetched???  Hard to say, I tend to believe some of them.. It's if they ask for money that you know they are scam artists..

Just started Jane the Virgin last night... A fairly funny show..

My second run through of the show Weeds is entering the running from Agrestic part, where they move in with the father in law at Ran-mar California the seedy little shithole where they will start selling her MILF weed and get into even ever more trouble.. Why run through a second time??  I did just get done watching it the first time this past June.. Well.. Sometimes  show needs to be watched again.. and again..

So what makes a movie or tv show that watchable or able to be watched over and over like that?.. There are those who can watch Seinfeld over and over again as well.. With me I am watching Friends again some of the first two seasons will be the forth or fifth time counting seeing them when they were on originally on the network.. I just like the show.. I would do that with Seinfeld if it were on Netflix.. It's not, it's on Hulu.. So what is the big deal??  Hulu is free.. Not the subscription version isn't..  There are movies that are that way... I'll write about that in another blog entry..

Fun future fantasy

It's always tricky talking about things after the fact.. Things you swear happened but might not have.. Then there is the total recall "this is exactly what happened"... So with that in mind.. My brother followed me down to take the car to a shop in a town close but not quite walking distance from here.. And then I rode with him back home.. We talked about various things and then hunting came up.. He has in the past hunted deer, and while that might sound like a terrible thing, when you accidentally hunt a deer using your car.. That is a terrible thing and really I'd rather deer be thinned by hunting than with a car.. He was talking about the various seasons and what they use, black powder, bow and arrows.. Then crossbows.. Those just sound like fun to use, I mean Darryl from walking dead seems to have all the fun with his cross bow..   Then I thought well how long is the hunting season with a sling shot..  Not that I have one, but I could use a rubber band and kill a deer, but you have to be right close to deliver the death blow and have a deer that likes to play around with it's very life.. Then there is my pellet gun.. But let's not get ridiculous here...

Movies from last weekend were a small number...

Kristy is about a girl who stays behind at college on Thanksgiving weekend and gets more than she bargained for as a local cult like group hunt her down.. Kind of a group that makes death scenes (real death scenes) for a web site..   A love story. Not really at all...

The Song Remains The Same, Led Zeppelin... Well if you can believe this.. I ordered this dvd at the same time I ordered The Endless River, Pink Floyd's "last" album.. (why quotation marks around that??  You never know, they say it is the final album but.. you never know.. never say never is my motto) And these were ordered at the same time from of all places Barnes and Nobble with a gift card thing..  The song remains the same was truly a lark, I was just looking for something to add up to get the whatever the final price was.. Anyway I had seen the movie in the theater way back when it was originally released.. My older brother and I went to this and truth be told the longer song sequences damn near put me to sleep then.. I have since gotten this on VHS tape and then the DVD version now.. The early part of the movie, the opening sequences, I don't remember.. That is so sad to me.. But the rest of the concert.. FANTASTIC.. They don't do concerts like that anymore..  If you want to see what influenced me to really get into rock music.. THIS IS IT..

The Omen... This classic movie I had seen parts of but never the entire thing in one sitting.. This was supposed to be the Halloween movie but I couldn't find it on the netflix search.. But then the next day it showed up and so i watched it.. This is a very interesting movie, maybe not a you gotta watch it type but still it is worth a view..

Other shows watched.. Surviving Progress.. A documentary about the way things seem to be heading in the world.. It is a worry that we could all end up in a world like the old road warrior scenario where there is fighting for a drop of gasoline.. As well as other things.. I don't officially list it as a show I watched because I got too depressed to watch it all.. I've had dreams of this type of shit..

Vexed.. This is a British tv show, a nine episode only series.. Very funny and just one of those shows that ended long before it should have.. The subtitles are Italian, but the show here is English sound..

higher power

This was one of Ashton Kutcher's entries on Facebook recently.. http://www.higherperspectives.com/deceased-loved-ones-1437230454.html

5 Signs a deceased loved one is nearby.. This sounds like bull shit but the truth is after my dad passed away I felt he was nearby for a while.. And one night I even thought I heard him say my name up in the hallway near my bed room.. It was within a month of his passing away and it was as plain as the weeks before..   Then now with my niece passing away recently there have been little signs here and there.. What is really sad is while I feel she is nearby in death, when she was alive she rarely was down here.. From the time she graduated until her untimely death she was down here maybe an average of maybe five times a year.. And that is giving her two... She was almost never here.. Like when she moved to Tennesee and I thought at the time well.. It's like she is here, we never saw her before her move, and we won't see her now.. And it was well about a year before we did see her, just a few weeks before her grand dad died, and it was just like normal.. Maybe it was a good thing we rarely saw her.. When she came down with her daughters we always marveled at how they were growing so fast.. And that is true, when it was three to four months between visits you can see the growth that way..

What are some of the signs that my niece might be nearby?? Little things.. Going to my bedroom one night I could swear I saw a red light (like a digital clock) from one of the spare bed rooms, I turned back to look and there isn't ANY red light in there.. Then one night the scanner (radio used for monitoring police and fire radio activity) there was something strange happened.. The static on a channel was there.. And that happened with my dad as well.. In this case there was static in a rhythm sound and a very high beeping type of sound, almost music sounding.. I wasn't freaked out by it but I did think of her.. For whatever the reason....

So.. I'm NOT religious at all really.. More spiritual than anything and truth is I do believe in a beyond but not a heaven type of beyond.. More of .. ghost... maybe..  Some sort of other phenomenon beyond the religious BS (Oh she is in a better place) thing.. I do think she is in a better place and she might be wrangling and being amungst us now.. At least for a while..

From the article :

1. You smell them.

No I never have smelled her.. In fact if you were to hive five  things and one of them had her smell it would be a stab for me to get it right.. So no, I don't smell her..

2. They appear in your dreams.

This is easy.. Very few people who lose a loved one don't ever dream  of them.. In my case within a week I dreampt of her, she was on the front room sofa.. Everyone was crying and talking to her and asking why, and how...  She gave and answer that made everyone cry even harder than they did when she first passed away.. What was that answer?? I have no idea..

3. Your items go missing.

Nothing has gone missing that I know of.. Not now, when she was here when she went to school down here things went missing but.. not now.. not yet anyway..

4. Unusual thoughts.

No unusual thoughts.. But the day after her funeral while cleaning her place her mom and sister found something that was very concerning to them.. I will eventually write about that when and if it ever gets cleared up..

5. Signs at the funeral.

I've been to funerals where things go awry but hers seemed to go off without a hitch so.. No signs at the funeral.. Although there is a reason I came up with as to why her spirit might not have even been there.. She had troubles getting anywhere on time, even before she had the twins she was late or pushing being on time to the breaking point.. I figure she slept in, her funeral started at ten in the morning and I do believe she was in fact late to her own funeral.. That was my dads line by the way.. When she was here going to school and she would be getting ready to go and dad would drive her the whole block and a half to school he would say that girl will be late to her own funeral..... Someday..

Badge Henry

And then last night happened.. Someone called and I tried to pick up just before the answering machine did as is my way of getting the phone just before the answering machine picks up and say hello, just as the answering machine goes off and runs through it's message of leave a message after the beep.. And the beep sounds and there is this massive amount of feedback sounding stuff.. Was that her messing with the answering machine???  They aren't allowed to communicate from the other side  and yet I wouldn't put it past her to break every rule in the book...

Remember re

I completed the alternative videos to the memorial videos this week.. Basically what they are is video ideas if I had more time and the ability to think a bit about it.. Truth is the videos that were done in a relatively short time (the videos that got done) show what can be done with the idea that I have x amount of time to get it done DO IT... Just do it, get it done.. I was happy with how things came out, but given enough time and the ability to get a little distance from it, these were the videos that got done..

Wish You Were Here covered by Tangerine Dream from their Under Covers album.. This is the original video with the soundtrack altered a bit.. And the final bit is still Opus Reprise by Schiller.. Again another idea.. Better???  Eye  (ear) of the beholder..
The alternative memorial video.. Most of the video clips are from source discs which hopefully translate into a more watchable video.. Some of the clips are identical almost to the second, but others are not.. The croquet video with dad in it is longer by a little bit.. And other videos were added seeing that I had a lot longer to do it this time.. The original had videos that I wanted but the quality was so...wanting.. Actually wanting quality.. but the video source in this case was disc, and the trouble with that is that any video that was of Tabitha before her daughters were born was vhs tape transferred to dvd some 8-9 years ago.. and they don't seem to be aging very well in that state.. Thankfully analog tapes, the original tapes are still stored where they can be viewed.. Other things added on this video.. A picture from an early trip to Moab Utah.. How early.. Long before Tabitha was even born..

This video marks the true end to this project.. There will be no more... And this video will only be up for a week.. Enjoy it while you can..

Roll with it

The memorial video was tough to do.. I've said it before on another entry on a different blog.. This was tough.. I really liked doing it but unlike a graduation, this was a good bye forever thing.. And so when I was asked to do it I started working on the music first.. The pictures was the easy part, there were other people in charge of that.. I got home and started to work on the pictures that I got via email.. Some of the pictures would show as sideways and for everything I tries to get them all rightways up.. There was a shitload of frustration getting them to agree with what I wanted them to do.. So after trying several things I loaded the pictures on to Picasa program and lo and behold they were all rightside up.. But they showed the same way on Faststone viewer so.. The only way to try it would be to burn a disc and cross the fingers that they would burn the way I wanted them to... Thankfully they did.. Now the music.. I was crosswise with ideas as Saturday night would see me find 75 or so songs that I thought might work and others I hadn't heard in a while so I listened to just because..

Then as Saturday night turned into Sunday morning and I had the video ready to be done.. The music was still not there.. I had tried many things from Neal Schon solo work and Craig Chaquico as well.. I then settled on Pink Floyd TBS9 and TBS14 as a way to just try a sound track.. Anything.. Then as the video was completed I set the process of getting the video to set up as 1080p.. That took a ton of rsources and the computer locked up.. Well shit.. I give up.. Went to bed at a little after 2 Sunday morning...  What is going to happen??   The next morning I awake to  a message From Freda that stated just use Cannon..  Alrighty then.. Something to work from..  So the first song would be Cannon, and it really seems to fit with the video as the pictures go by..

Cannon was a great choice for songs but I had found a few of my own favorites including Black Garden View, by Christoph Franke  originally from Tangerine Dream, this song was one from his Pacific Coast Highway solo album..  It is a very emotional track on it's own.. And as I set the track to this video it really brought out the emotion in me...

Track three on the original video is Cannon and it works quite well.. But after a few days I thought what If I try a different song in that section so... I tried this song, originally the song was placed on a video I did after I found some pictures I had never seen before or didn't pay attention when I did view them.. My Back Pages/Goin' Back  as done by Michael Stanley on one of those acoustic  shows, they didn't ask him to do it but.. He did it anyway..

Track four remains Amy's Lullaby as recorded by Mars Lasar... Well almost as recorded by him.. I edited the song to fit, the very first part I found wasn't needed so I cut to where the winding up of the music box and then went from there.. Every time I heard this song before this project I would be fairly emotional.. This was just really what I think I saw..

Then there is this idea.. The first part of the video with a different song on there.. In this case the song is Blue Sky Song by the Gathering Field.. I was torn between using this, the original version, and the Michael Stanley version.. Seeing as how I already had him with the second song I decided to try the original .. Had I done the video with Blue Sky Song as the starter I would have run well too long.. So the original idea was the best and is really my favorite version, this was just a way to try another idea.. The running order of the pictures seemed the best as well...

In editing the pictures really aside from getting them all to be upright, I tried to doctor them a little, using the Fast stone picture viewer and a little bit of Paint dot Net... I was just after trying to lighten the pictures up a little.. There is one of Emmy that she is at the park and the place she was in made her very orange so using the curves I took that colour not be as prevalent.. Tried to get the dark shadow areas to be less so.. Just general touch ups..

When the video was done I had to have someone watch it so I could relax a little.. I am never thinking the video is even remotely very good.. I needed someone to give the thumbs up.. Freda took the time out of the busy getting things together and looked at it.. She said it was great.. And kept it.. Thankfully she kept it because I was likely going to tweak it a bit here and there.. Actually I was quite relieved she kept it, I figured it was done.. And done that Sunday morning so.. Two days ahead of schedule.. I could see me on Tuesday morning working on it to get to perfection.. There is no such thing as perfection for me.. I say I throw these videos together and really they are.. Tweaking will just make me go nuts.. Perfection is unattainable.. Even with this second idea video.. If you  compare the two videos and especially with the opening track of Blue Sky Song, it is way longer than Cannon.. The third song being My Back Pages/Goin back was too short, and... You know sometimes things just work out, the first time.. Roll with it..

I'm so done with..

I listen to Steve Czaban in the mornings and he has a segment called "I'm so done with.."  and people call in with their gripes.. Steve is tired of instant replay to get the calls right, they lean on that bit of technology to get calls right.. In college they almost use that as a way to get calls right exclusively.. In the pros with the game being faster they do need it but it really is a crutch.. Well here is mine and there is a good amount of a rant here so.. Pardon me..

Yeah, I am tired of the tv announcers stating it is now four down territory.. You know what 4 down territory is right??  Well in case you don't know, it's a team that is desperate to get points on the board that they need to ignore the old 4th down is the punting down.. Now this can occur in the second quarter or the fourth.. Say the team is down by anything from one to 16... They are at their own 20 and have to drive to at least the 30 going in to give  their kicker a chance.. That isn't what I am tired of, it's the idiot tv announcer that says two down territory and I always think so they have two downs to make a first??  No what that idiot should say, this is four down territory, it is third down, and they very well might use forth to get the first down.. Please explain it rather than go the dumb as shit was saying this is two down territory.. These idiots take the easy route, yep it is third down but I am thinking they are going to forth down, not punt it now, this isn't Canada rules football.. Sheeeut..

RANT OVER..

Yesterday I set the ball rolling to end the other blog.. With the statement that it will end about  a year from now, the Monday before election Tuesday 2016.. The YMB entry isn't set.. It is set for November 7 2020... Have to back that up just a bit.. A series of three entries will signal the final entry with YMB being the penultimate entry and The one with the video of Sirius from the album And The Stars Go With You...  That is the final entry.. So.. the day after that will be no entries from then until...

Didn't see that happening..

Glenn died...    or did he.. oops.. spoiler alert..  Glenn died..  I need to start watching Walking Dead rather than binge watching it.. More the reason is the size of the files, they are getting too large to hold until the first half of this season is over.. Why are they so big this season??  Do they think we need to see the blood and guts in better detail??  I should say kero syrup and wheaties mixed with Kix.. I keep hearing rumors about what is going on, and I did last year when they killed off that little blonde gal.. That was tough to take, watching as close to the holidays the way I do.. Gonna start watching next week or.. sooner..

How'd your Halloween go this year??  Ours was good.. mom got peanut butter cups reaces to pass out.. I told her kids with allergies might be a problem.. She seemed to not care but as the nephew found them and ate them and ate them and.. polished them off she wasn't slapping him away.. like she ever would..  So I made the grand announcement that with the candy gone to hand out for Halloween that we would go the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown route and give out rocks.. That should work out well.. However mom had other candies stashed and so we handed out that stuff..

That's your movie..  Watched a few movies this past week..

Would You Rather is a movie about this woman that decides to play a game and try to make money to help her brother who has cancer.. The end was so predictable I should warn you this movie will make you say well there's an hour and  a half of my life I will never get back..

Dark Skies was really interesting but coming off the night before movie it felt like I had seen it a little bit.. Still not a horrible movie, just kinda predictable...

I remember this from... way back.. Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry... Mostly I remember my cousins giving their aunt shit about this.. Her name was Mary but she wasn't really that wild.. Or maybe she was..

This was the scary movie of the week.. Extraterrestrial.. Maybe I was just wanting to be scared and let it do that.. Most scary movies don't scare me anymore because the gags are all tried and true.. But this had a little bit more to it than that.. A fun movie to watch.. I did not see the end happening the way it did..

Back in Time.. The Back to the Future documentary and I will say that it helps if you have seen the first Back to the Future  movie.. The second as well.. And throw in the third just to make sure you know what they are talking about.. I was given the trilogy to.. Lord of the Rings one Christmas.. And I thought, ok.. Meanwhile my little brother was given the Back To the Future trilogy.. and since I tend to not like lord of the rings and he does and he didn't care for back to the future and I did.. We traded right there on the spot.. I honestly really do like this movie but wasn't sure of the two sequels.. That changed after watching them.. The whole series is really good and unlike a lot of series movies, this was shot over the years rather than back to back to back.. Really interesting to watch this documentary.. If you've seen the movies..

Badge Henry

(P.S. the videos that I did for my nieces funeral, the ones I said I would take off around yesterday or today, will hopefully be kept up until after the first of the year.. I want them to remain up indefinitely, but hope to at least keep them there through the first of the year.. However if they are up and have the music muted it means that Google found them and shut the music part off.. That might not be a bad thing in the videos I have made recently, but in those videos I want them to remain as is.. )
