The top 13 ways you are screwing up your computer... Number one, not backing up everything regularly.. as in every minute... Really??  How do you do that and more importantly WHY would you do that...  For those who's jobs depend on perfection I can see but those of us that use a computer for fun and teasing republicans I don't see why to back things up.. That being said however I will say that as of this past April I don't have anything important on this computer.. In fact the most recent video that I shot I was looking for the folder on the computer to put it in so that I could get to editing it later and I couldn't find it..  Well the main reason is because there isn't one there, I never replaced it after the restart to windows 7 then 10 then downgraded back to 7..  In fact there really isn't anything of importance on the computer.. EVER.. I take the video I shot, place it on a flash drive and then work with it from there, when the video is completed it is then placed on an SD card for future storage or to wait until I have enough to burn to disc.. That was the old way of doing this, since the start of this year I have abandonded that thinking in full favor of using SD cards rather than dvd ram.. Mostly because the dvds aren't being watched and it is a lot easier to just click on  a video you want to watch on the SD card.. Instead as well having a bulky disc, there is a card the size of a postage stamp..  This may or may not be a mistake.. Guess we'll see..

So I have a Roku, bet you didn't know that...  I've had one for about five years.. A Roku is a streaming device that allows the user to watch things like Amazon, walmart's VUDU service and of course Netflix..  I got mine because having the straming service for the previous two years and not even using it was a huge waste of money, why not stream some programming... In the early days of the streaming part of Netflix I was doing so on the computer every once in a while.. Why not try the Roku??  I had digital cable for a year and realized I wasn't watching 90% of what was on the digital side so get rid of that and get the Roku.. All was set and so Christmas of that year I made the big switch..  The reason to get the Roku:  98% was Netflix, and in the beginning it was pretty much the reason.. I had researched the box for three months (alright it was more like seven but you know) So I knew pretty much everything I needed to.. In fact I was set on a different streaming player by another unrelated company and was set to get it but a few months later it wasn't available and the reviews weren't that positive anyway.. So by October of that year I reluctantly changed my mind to the Roku.. I'm glad I did.. The 98% reason to get it for netflix has changed down to 95% but still strong enough..  The channels available for the roku is quickly numbering close to 3 thousand.. Which is 2500 more than needed but if you like religion, there you go..   Here is my review of some of the channels I currently have..  NETFLIX:   What can I say about this channel that hasn't already been said??  It is a really great service, running programming commercial free and there are series they make that can be run in binge form (watching one episode after another) In fact there is a setting where you can watch shows back to back without having to get out of the show.. I don't have this option clicked and haven't heard good things about it either.. To me I set shows to watch like a regular night of watching network tv.. I will watch one show, then switch to another show.. Say watch one episode of Hell on Wheels, then watch another show like Jane The Virgin, then another show like Friday Night Lights.. This equals about after nine so if there is enough time to watch another hour long (42 minutes as the crow flies as it were) then do that.. However I have a tendency to either watch a half hour sitcom or switch to a news channel of some sort.. You watch it, you program it.. tv your way..  Second Channel is Crackle:  This channel begins the long line of channels that are on for the "potential" they have for entertainment.. They have commercials on them which isn't bad but can be because of where the commercials are placed.. They use an algorithm that sets where the commercials are placed unlike late night tv where they try to make sense of it.. They can place a commercial in the middle of a conversation but most of the time they return a few seconds ahead of that so you get a short review of the scene you were on.. This happens on quite a few of the channels.. The attraction of Crackle is they have a lot of good original programming, Comedians in cars getting coffee with Jerry Seinfeld..  A show called Chosen is really good as well as others...   Then in my number three slot is Popcorn Flix:  They signed a contract for content recently.. I read somewhere where they are like that bin at stores like Walmart and stores like that that have movies for five dollars... This service is free as is Crackle.. The only investment is your time watching the commercials, and some of the commercials are not on regular tv, although it seems like they are more and more becoming that way.. Popcorn Flix is the third channel in row one and all three are movie/tv programming related and are the top three but not the most popular channels that I watch except for Netflix which is number 1..  Weather and news channels would be in the other two next to Netflix if they were in by popularity.. My listing of channels really might not make any sense but...it's how I have them.. It's how no one else would.. But you can set them up however you feel like doing it.. It's your box..

Truth be told here as we enter the home stretch of the election process with the debate (s)  forthcoming, my feeling is that if you are a full on supporter of Trump then you have drunk the koolaide and you see nothing wrong with voting into the presidents office someone who has likely offended someone you know or even possibly yourself which if that is the case and he does get elected then you have to take ownership of exactly what could go wrong, and that includes everything from a form of a status quo to a very large barbque in which you are on the menu... There are three things that could happen in November.. Hillary wins and things get better if the idiots in congress do their job.. Trump gets elected and things get better for the ultra rich, sorry if you have to get up on Monday mornings to pay the bills, you are not even rich enough to be a republican... Or a third party gets extremely lucky and gets into the whitehouse causing  a rift in the space time continuum that throws things way out of whack.. Think Back to the Future part II...   So watch the debates and realize that three or four elections ago, can you imagine anyone saying so's your mother as an answer to a question...  Where's the beef...

(P.S..  What does "Where's the beef" come from??  Well it was a slogan taken from a commercial back a while ago (a LONG ASS while ago) during a debate that was lifted and asked one of the candidates
where is the beef, meaning where is the substance to what was being talked about.. In the case for this entry it means when is Trump going to hit on that slogan that people will be saying as they get ready to go to the voting booths in November..  But so far it hasn't hit YET...    So earlier today i see the head of the GOP told Trump he doesn't have to debate Hillary and maybe to avoid debating her AT ALL COSTS.. Well he won't release his tax returns, if they were clear of any bad things it might be a saving grace by then, should they be released by the first of October.. Any later and there will be no saving grace and if he skips the debates the party really and truly will be over..   He will have to buy votes and he doesn't have the money to pull that one off.. Trump should be over, he should be gone completely by this time next week.. He has to be on every voting machine by the end of August I believe.. That is when he could get out of the running and the GOP would have nothing to offer in November...  That would be odd as hell..  And funny as well as sad..  The joke would be on everyone who believed him..  )

Stranger things ok... your turn

I just finished the 8 part miniseries Stranger Things.. :

My announcement earlier in the week about starting this series was more than likely not too smart.. I think I said it was a great show and it is but there are a few things that could be said as well.. It seems like if you watched shows like Poltergeist and E.T. and Alien (the alien popping out of the chest scene but not really in this show) as well as any number of other far out shows, you get why this is a pretty good show.. Episode 6 in which...   Hold on here.. The sound track music wise sounds like Tangerine Dream did it.. Or one of those that were in the band when they were doing soundtrack work could be doing this.. Mostly Christoph Franke or Johaness Schmoelling or especially Paul Hasslinger since he is doing a shit ton of soundtracks now.. But it wasn't any of these guys.. But they made an appearance in the show, their music did.. Episode 6 in which Exit was played in the later half of the show.. Makes sense, the show was supposedly about the mid 80's era..  the end came and went and ****SPOILER ALERT***  (of sorts)  if you ignore the final minute or so of the show it's wrapped up in a nice bow..  There is no need to sequalize it.. But as you might know there is a season two so...  There you go.. Very good show and if you have seen episode one you likely have seen the whole show in binge watch form.. Yeah it's that good...


Have you ever started watching a show and thought to yourself.. (self)  I've seen this before...  Such was the case with The Road..:

While I even took precautions to preview it a little I wasn't sure even though I had rated it.. (that thing you do to let your voice be heard about how good or shitty a movie is).. I rated it from seeing it before but even still I rewatched it.. It's a good movie.. About the end of the world.. Was by nuclear annihilation (?)  or something in the realm of the Earth just gave up and sent everything into a death spiral.. No zombie apocalypse here, just people dying of life ending..  Watching the trees fall because they just do when it stops living.. We join our couple as the are making for the coast to be...  Somewhere else.. Constantly searching for food and water and reason to live...  The movie is shot almost entirely in a sepia/colour filter that make colours be gone.. A dismal future it is..

Jane got a gun..  A shoot em up western.. Sometimes its just fun to watch a western movie..

A Life Less Ordinary..  Watched this oldie from '97 (hard to say that is an oldie)  and it's a bit romcom but strangely good.. I dozed a bit through it... Good movie though.. Strange but fun..


I watched the bronco game.. in an earlier post I said that Sanchez would get the start at the beginning of the season but he likely wouldn't be the starter for very long especially if he went back to his old ways.. Well he didn't even make it to the first regular season game..  Last night was game three of the preseason and that is dress rehearsal for the regular season.. And that meant Trevor Seimien gets the start and showed why.. He looked relatively good and then Paxton Lynch got the second half and Mark Sanchez got to dress up but not take a single snap.. What that means is he will likely get to play in the forth preseason game.. It will go Trevor for first posesion then Paxton for the rest of the first half, then Sanchez for the rest of the game.. Denver will likely shop him around if they can.. Dallas needs a QB severly.. though there is no need to trade, cutting him will get the cap space and get their draft pick back.. it was conditional to him making the team.. that may not happen..  What will happen this season??  trevor will start the season as the starter.. Pax will get work during games sort of like preseason but a platoon effect won't happen..  Kubiak doesn't seem like the type that likes to play alternating QB's every series.. He likely will bring Paxton in in the second half if the game is a semi blow out..   How will the season go??  I'm thinking the super bowl is still in range, the defense is great, the offense could be better this year than last year but it depends entirely on what the QB does, if he (they) manage the game then things will be fine.. But if they are depended upon to win the games it might not happen.. The division is tougher this year mostly because the QB position is an unknown in Denver.. If Trevor is the man then things will look a lot like last year..  The defense could end up scoring a lot of points or being the reason why Denver wins games.. Just like Last year..  Defense wins titles.. Give me a defense and an ok offense and I like our chances.. Denver versus any NFC team in the super bowl...  I like our chances.. Stay healthy guys..  Tall order...

And what it's designed to deliver is video - not to drag race. As such it does not matter staring at what the maximum number printed on the dashboard odometer is - it will never reach it. There is no point in trying to pour nitro in its tank - getting 10-20Mbps is a few times over what's needed already.

I agree completely, with one exception. My Roku 4 can exceed 30 Mbps when streaming 4K material, so a limitation of 10-20 Mbps would be cause for concern. I've seen over 40 Mbps with 4K YouTube video.
That said, I've never encountered a problem with lack of bandwidth on any of my Roku players, even when using the Ethernet jack which supports "only" 100 BaseT speeds..


Ha I've got you all...   not beat by any stretch.. we get a strong 5mbps fairly steady 24/7  supposedly..  And while this kind of speed discussed is very envious of them.. What the hell do you watch that needs that speed..  Then you read in the reply there where it starts "I Agree..."  4K which we may never See here.. I mean the content is there but to be able to see it.. We would likely need twenty to twenty five megs  which they offer but likely wouldn't ever see..  getting the 5mbps was like twisting arms to get.. Here I'm happy as hell getting netflix without the constant buffering  which means I turned it to the worst definition to have that.. I don't have HD so I don't care and truth be told Netflix is all that offers the HD and ultra HD and 4K as well... How badly do you need a lobotomy if you buy into this is the best you can get.. They said that about HD if you can remember ... "It's like looking out a window.."  horse shit... I see very little difference between the two.. But there is a difference... Several thousands of dollars and a happy grin on the salesmans face because he knows he's feeding the people shit and the are eating it right up... Stupid people...

I'd been looking for one for the past two years... We had branches close to the house and I was planning to use a different approach to clipping them, but then spring became summer and there just seemed like no way to get it done the way I was wanting it.. So i waited.. I found these clippers earlier in the summer and decided I would get them.. These I'm not sure they are what I got, they are close.. The blade faces up rather than down.. I read the reviews and wasn't impressed with them, and really thought I wouldn't get them.. But i needed them and when the price was nearly twenty dollars off I decided I'd get this.. At just twenty dollars and a bit more I thought the saw part wouldn't get used much, the reviews were not very good for that part but what I wanted it for was to trim the smaller branches anyway..  There was a strict warning on the packaging DON'T USE ON A LADDER...  Why not??  Well it get very obvious why not.. Especially when you actually do use it while on a ladder..  There was a small branch just out of reach of using it flat footed.. The branch remained out of reach with the step ladder and was as well out of reach with the extension ladder...  Gonna have to rethink that one...

Shows I watched recently..   With the Olympics it was tricky to see many shows but..  here is some of what I saw.. In no particular order.. 

Survivor with Pierce Brosnan and Milla Jovovich was a fairly good albeit somewhat predictable flick... 

St. Vincent with Bill Murray as an old crotchety old war vet..  When it came time for the kid to decide who he thought should be a saint...  Vincent was his choice and when you find out why you'll understand why this movie is so great..

Pandemic was all over the place with the story line, the plot ...  Watching the movie was like watching three movies before it.. Why did I watch it??  Rachal Nichols was the best reason however you never got to see her ... all of her, you really only got to see some of her..  Oh well..  The world ends and the zombies win.. Isn't that the way it normally goes..

A Lonely Place To Die...  Yikes a movie about climbing mountains... Sort of.. This movie is sort of like Cliff Hanger.. Kind of anyway.. The initial scene with the three on the face of a mountain and things going sideways made me think this is identical to Cliff Hanger.. But then it chilled out and was less mountaineering and more about another storyline all together.. But it is quite good.. 


The last one here is..  Not a movie but rather a  series..

Stranger Things.. This is like Poltergeist on steroids... And so far, i'm three episodes in, it looks identical to poltergeist as I think of them communicating through white noise channels on the tv set and radio.. This series is set in the poltergeist era of the 80's, because lets face it, poltergeists were more prominent back then..  But once you have see one poltergeist you've seen them all.. Or have you.. This is set in the christmas time of the year, so yeah, this is even set when poltergeists are the most active and prominent.. I mean.. I guess..  But I will admit, I do let this get to me because.. Well it's more fun to get into being spooked than it is to watch and see the upcoming gag as they seem to be teleprompted from beyond..  ya gotta like some odd shit every now and then...

Other shows I'm watching.. That train show.. umm... Hell On wheels.. Initially when I watched this it was via torrent but I was watching on the computer elsewhere, mostly babysitting my nephew a few years back so I wasn't able to watch it closely so some of the storyline was blurred...   Also I could have watched from where it left off but like another show, I thought going from the very start would fill me in on the story better.. And so far it has... Another show I just ended as the Olympics started Friday Night Lights.. I had seen it last year about May and so it wasn't that long ago.. Why watch it again?? It was a really good show although on second viewing it was very predictable.. Oh well..   Another show I am just starting is Royal pains and while I as well completed the series up until the latest shows it seems like a fairly good idea to rerun it to get to that point again... The Republic of Doyle will likely be rerun this winter.. I really liked that show but he got hit in the head a lot and by the end of the show should have been more a slobbering idiot...

There comes a time when you hear rediculous things about someone and had this been a year ago you question it's validity...  But because Trump has been saying stupid shit from day one... It must be real, there can be no question...

There was a picture on facebook earlier about Trump going to Louisiana and it had Trump passing out Play-doh... Now this could have been a real picture but in my estimation it was a fake.. Why?? because Trump wouldn't do that kind of labour at all.. The most he ever likely lefts now is that ridiculous hair piece he glues to his head every day...  And it might look light as a feather but it is made out of space age polymers to look and react like real hair.. he had it made by ex NASA technicians when he still had money..

Here's an idea.. This makes all the sense in the world... You don't like either Trump or Clinton so vote for the libertarian party.. see the meme just above with Yoda in it???

I'll vote for libertarian or ... the Green party or whatever gets enough traction to make sense.. There are two parties in american politics at this time.. I wish there were more and if you believe the leaders of those other two parties you can make a difference by voting for them... YOU CAN'T...  NO YOU CAN'T... Not now anyway.. Maybe if three or four or five parties could get people into congress, and don't be telling  me Rand Paul or Bernie Sanders are independent party members.. Did you see the primaries this past winter??  Bernie went democrat to try to get elected.. Had he stayed independent he might be leading in all the polls right now.. A vote for anything not named Trump or Clinton is a vote for Trump, just so you know...

My cousin had this on her Facebook page recently...  A Raider bunny humping a orange bunny, I'm assuming a bronco... Seriously E  your raider bunny is the right caricature for your team but for the broncos you should have it be a grinding machine of some sort. And the raider bunny would be a bloody mess being caught in it.. Which will be the case this year....

So what is going on in the election right now??  Well Trump is behind by enough in the polls that he is listening to someone telling him that his campaign is really springing a leak.. Titanic in size, from shortly after the convention when he seemed like he was leading, to now not even a month later he is nearing a ten point deficit.. Someone must have told him to pull back on the stupid comments.. This is the third week he has been losing in the polls and this weeks claim by one of his election monkeys (Giuliani) made an amazingly stupid statement that there hadn't been a successful attack on American soil before Obama got into office, and it's a true statement if you ignore 9/11... 2001...  And that was during another presidents term.. George  um.... Something...  

 How many people voted for Trump through all the bullshit he was spewing before the convention and were so shocked at what has happened since that week??  How many are changing their minds??  Well to be honest back at convention time the polls were low 40 for both.. Likely the twenty percent that hadn't yet made up their minds are starting to.. Those who were Trump fans are still likely on board with Trump, the other 20% are starting to show their mind.. There are a few that are flip Flopping from their boy Donnie.. I started at zero percent chance of changing my mind when Trump announced last year, and had he said anything at all I agreed with it wasn't enough to change my mind.. I don't like republicans and it was reinforced after the past mid terms when they (GOP) announced they were going to double down on obstructing Obama, because they "aren't the party to govern but rather to obstruct"    Yep... Well see what that gets you.. 

 I said I could see changing my mind if anything got done in these last two years.. Nothing really has.. They spent last year mostly off and out of Washington, and as I'm writing this they are still out on a prolonged break that will be around sixty days... Must be rough although to be fair if they were in their respected chambers they would likely be dong nothing anyway.. What's the big deal anyway..

 The big conspiracy right now against Hillary is she has some issue with her brain or something.. She can't joke or have fun.. Likely she was making fun of the Donald making fun of that reporter... Seriously if there are Trump followers in her camp she needs to fire them NOW... 

 She was wearing glasses so they get that doctor Drew to tell the FNC audience that she has something wrong with her.. Seriously who watches this channel??  Mostly the people in nursing homes, they put the tv on that channel then lose the remote, but then I've always said that if people could figure out how to use that contraption that they would find out that there are a lot of channels to watch now... I would tell anyone who was stuck in there to get a remote that had volume and channel on the remote, and nothing else.. Four buttons.. Keep it simple.. 

 What is the "Mr. Brexit" about for Trump??  He tweeted it yesterday, "Soon people will be calling me Mr. Brexit"   My hopes are he will be leaving the race but if he does all these memes will be lost.. Naw, I'll still post them, they will just be post haste as it were...

I think this was about that Kate Pierson that thinks everything she says is gospel true about her man Donald Trump..  She is either easily flustered or she got her degree from Trump University before it went bankrupt..  Seriously who doesn't believe Trump won't bankrupt the American economy???  If he defaults it means a cascading effect that will make all monetary be equal to every country in the world..  Then our world dollar will be the same in every country.. I truly believe he wouldn't stay any longer or at all.. He is ruled more by his wife and she has wanted out since the first term.. i like here but she seems generally unhappy being there and will only support her husband through until he leaves office.. Besides there are rumours that Hillary is going to make him a supreme justice.. He would be a whole lot more stronger in that office than he would be staying in the white house..)

The first

Everyone gets at least a little excited when school starts..   Today was the first day of my nephew starting the third grade.. He hates school and I can understand it, I really didn't like school at all at least until I got into high school, things changed for me then.. But something I never told anyone about my very first day of school, that very first day of kindergarten.. I rode to school with my dad, and I think my older brother as well but for sure I went with dad.. He was the business and typing teacher there in the high school..  I can't remember much about that day but one thing I do remember was he took me to his room there and told me when I hear the first bell ring to go to the grade school and then school would start.. Well he went to the teachers lounge and .. did whatever they do, likely smoke like a house on fire calm the nerves for putting up with everyones house apes...  But there I was waiting for the bell to ring doing whatever I was doing when suddenly there was a buzzing sound..  Did he mean the buzz or the ring??? That wasn't a ring, or at least not a ring that I've ever heard so I ignored it..  It then buzzed again a short time later.. Was this the one??  No.. Don't think so anyway..  A short time later my dad is at the door of his room.. Didn't you hear the bell??  Bell??  What bell??  I heard a buzz...   hffhdhdh...  So he walks me over to the kindergarten room and gets me excused for being tardy on my very first day of school...    That would be the last time I would be tardy.. But not the last time I would be late.. When I was a junior in High school I would go to yet another band clinic.. Why the top seats had to go and not the lower seats I had no idea.. I had been going to these since I was in seventh grade, in fact there was no one else went in seventh grade before, why I had to go I had no idea.. But when I was  a junior that year it wasn't at the home school for the first time in five or six years..  It was instead in a town called Potter and we went ...   Who's staying for lunch.. I really didn't want to stay for lunch so a few of us went downtown to a bar.. The walk to the place was a ten minute one, we got there ordered what we wanted and sat down got to play some pool, I played the pinball machine.. Played a game of pool.. Hey, what time is it??  You know I wore a watch back in the day, I knew when we had to be back at the school and I was done eating but wasn't done playing foosball..  Nobody leaves a game of foosball undecided it was us two against those two..  And we were likely losing but that's not the point..  Twelve fifty five... Five minutes to get to the school, if we run we could make it.. Nobody wants to run, I didn't feel like running.. Kurt didn't even care, Cliff was enjoying himself too much..   So as we get done someone said hey what time is it.. Quarter after one... Ooops we're gonna be a little late... We rush to get to the school and you know, it took ten minutes to get to the bar with us rushing to get there.. We weren't in that great of a hurry to get back.. We got in the gym and what I remember most was we walked in and all the other kids from my school watched us walk in.. Our music teacher was there, he glared at us but never said a single word to any of us.. Why??  because of who was in the group.. There was me, me alone would likely have been expelled from school for a day or two..  Then there was Cliff..  Cliff was a good kid, never got into trouble but loved to have a good time.. Very trustworthy...   Kurt was thought to be an angel as well although I had heard otherwise we were fairly good friends.. Then there was Kent..  Kent was known around the school as the good guy..  There was never to be any punishment from this stunt but there would be a change from this adventure.. No one was allowed to leave the school where clinics were being held, clinics or contests of any kind.. After that event.. Actually it would start the next year because we left the school at contest time for lunch but because it was contest we had to get back on time..

I've said that about the twitter account.  As long as he has his twitter account he isn't a serious contender for being elected.. He keeps proving over and over how thin skinned he is..  Getting on twitter to rile the troops up.. His followers.. I'm not saying they are idiots or stupid.. They are followers, sheep...  And they love what he has to say... "I like him because he says what is on his mind, he's not a politician.. he has no filter...  "     Yep that no filter is getting him into trouble NOW..   

I love this girl... She is so mind numbing not smart..  Not stupid mind you, she is spewing this without a script.. She is so sure that what she is saying is the gods honest truth...  It makes you wonder where they come from..  The Trumpetiers.. The bind thinking this is the way to go, follow me and everyone following even though the cliff is obviously going to kill them if they follow...  She sounds so educated... Where she learned this at??  Trump university where the teachers will say anything..

Seriously now she sounds naive but just remember this was before Trump went bankrupt on every venture he tried..  Yep people want him to run for president, likely it was a joke.. He can fix things in the economy but what he doesn't realize is he can't take the economy over the edge, he can't simply declare bankruptcy.. He can try to negotiate a lower amount we can pay.. But it won't work.. Bankrupting our economy will cause the entire world to default meaning there will no longer be an American economy but rather the whole world will be on the same monetary value system.. We lose out upper hand on all countries and Russia will be in better shape than us because they are in collapse economy wise anyway...

 We the people demand temporary pay freeze for all federal employees...   Why??   Will that suddenly balance the budget??  Will that save our country from certain debt annihilation??  No.. But I do agree freeze the amount the executive side make.. Meaning every politician in Washington D.C...    All the Congress, the supreme court justices and the president and the vice president.. Nothing against them, but they should all live off of what they make..  And no stock portfolios..

Oh crap yet another entry about the election...

There could be a feeling that there is a feeling of piling on Trump.. And feeling sorry for him could settle in.. I feel that could happen in a sap friendly country like the USA.. You can't let your foot off  his neck... Keep it there firmly.. But as good as Hillary might be doing now and most of that is from Trump being unhinged, that could and likely will change fairly quickly.. I keep saying Trump will hit his "where's the beef" slogan anytime now..

 And therein can be that home run that would get Trump back in the game really quick..

My uncle posted this recently on his Facebook.. Trump said mean things.. Seriously Trump has said some mean things and.. more stupid than anything else..  He said the second amendment people should fix things with Hillary and the fact that is she wins she will elect judges to the supreme court.. Truth is they should be for the betterment of the country as  a whole.. But lean towards whichever party that got them in that office.. Could it mean a repeal of the second amendment??  Not very likely but a tweaking of it...  Maybe... But you take the statement that Trump made about the second amendment and change words out about the say Iranians and put in a word about dropping a nuke on them and see how quickly Iran gets friends to help defend them..  Any other country could be that way..   Also this meme has a glaring misspelling and I had to rub my uncle for that.. What does "mutiple" mean??  Is that a republican word.. i have to rib him over nothing.. he's so serious..

The Olympics are on..  The gymnastics are the best aren't they.. Girls doing things that would break my body in fifty bits and nasty pieces...   Great to watch..

 If Trump gets elected it will prove people don't care anymore.. let's elect someone who has no idea.. To me it would be exactly like electing Sarah Palin.. more than a little scary..

I found this earlier.. After Donald Trump said something about second amendment people taking care of Hillary, it was proof that Trump is fully unhinged.. I wrote any number of responses to entries on Facebook that if anything happens to Hillary that likely she will get elected weather she is still alive or not.. Also it could be the action that is needed to make changes in the beloved second amendment.. Trump can be thanked if anything does happen to Hillary and therein the second amendment.. All they need to do is background checks but guess what..  If anything happens to her all bets are off.. And then i found this letter...

Face the Book

I've come to a realization that I can no longer comment on peoples things that the put on Facebook that pertain to the election.. Most of it is beyond my ability to comprehend as very intelligent when it comes to being blindly biased to vote Trump or the country will fold and drop into the sea.. It feels like people who believe that Trump is the new messiah and will save the country also believe that the world is flat still even though it has been proven for many years to be round..   I can't comment on stupidity and therefor everything, or most of what would have been posted on facebook is now going to Twitter.. I feel like it is smarter to go this route seeing that I have closer to a hundred or more followers on Twitter and really only a very small handful on Facebook.. There is a better chance of having something I have on twitter being seen by a lot more people, it seems like there is more of a bleed through effect on twitter than there is on Facebook.. I know I see more on twitter that I don't have as a friend...  Is twitter nastier???  Well when you consider that our hero Trump uses Twitter more often than any other medium and also the likelihood that it will be where Trump will incite the start of world war three I would say YES it can be nastier... Just my opinion.. But posting on Twitter will keep the bad feelings at bay.. The only ones I will post is showing just how bad a bonehead Trump really is.. I can't get too excited, the memes showing what a crook Hillery is are coming. So who to vote for then??  Grab your quarter and flip it, heads you lose and tails you're screwed..

One week and counting.. It's hard to believe that is the way it is.. School dreading.. I mean starting, just a little over a week away for the nephew...  He has dreaded this from the first day of summer vacay...  But here it is..  I know how he feels, except my dread was more from being bullied the first seven years or so... After high school started that stopped.. I can thank my older brothers class for that.. They picked on all of us equally.. I actually liked that because I was no longer the target of my classmates, they had to worry about other things... But the start of school there was anticipation and anxiety as well..   And even this many years removed from being in school I can still recall that feeling although we started the Thursday before Labor day weekend... Back then we were on an out early because of heat schedule.. They don't do that now because they have central air now.. So when they start closer to July than September, they go the full day.. Lucky them..

I know what you're thinking.. Great another godamnpoliticallychargedhorseshit entry...  Not at all...    This one is gonna be short and to the point.. I watched a few shows this weekend between Olympic coverage and the lot.. First off I watched Fatal attraction..

Who doesn't see the boiling the bunny scene coming down broadway??  Seriously, the chick is well off her nut from the early onset..  I can't remember seeing or having seen the movie, some was a feeling I saw it.. But the final scene... That where he gives her a lobotomy with a screw driver. (Not really)  then what happens next... that seems to be the thriller MO on all movies from her to now.. Very predictable...

Touch The Wall... The Missy Franklin story.. I watched this just before starting to watch the Olympics coverage and it might have been the reason I watched..  Very inspiring to see a very young Missy starting her drive to Olympic stardom...  She was (is) the local girl done good story.. Although from the Denver area it still feels like she is local enough..  Really great story.. 

A Girl Like Her.. This is a very touching story.. Very real although it wasn't, it was inspired by other events.. I think this movie should be shown in schools across the country from the fifth grade through high school... Basically a girl was friends with another girl but she wasn't overly friendly or outgoing whereas her friend was from a broken home.. Not broken in that there was a divorce but rather a mother who treated her husband bad and was playing mind games with her kids and husband as well.. So the daughter did the same to her friend Jessica.. Jessica is a very nice and pretty girl but the friend (Avery  I think)  started treating her bad... Basically this movie is about bullying.. Both physical and mental and that includes cyber..  It is fairly predictable but quite good and my feeling is it should be watched by as many kids as possible..  Bullying can be in many forms and some might see it as joking around while the victim might be in such a state that at times it might effect them more than others...

A Year ago.. sort of

A year ago about today but it was the first weekend of August or the actual date was August 2 2015 we had a massive wind that destroyed the memorial tree that was planted in memory of my dad..  The red Maple.. 

The reason I am writing about this event right now is because of the complete opposite the weather is on this weekend compared to last year.. It is cool cloudy and.. 66 degrees at the time I think it would have been fallen the tree.. Now in honesty the tree was knocked out on the first of August, and that day this past week was hot, sort of like last year, that day was hot and the storm was following the same MO as the storm that hit us two weeks prior, that storm was almost as bad but wasn't hardly raining when the wind blew extremely hard..  It would do nearly no damage at all to any trees or anything else in town.. Forward two weeks and it was a storm that was like a tornado but a strong horizontal wind that caused all sorts of damage and was just a few blocks that were involved.. 

I'm looking to trans plant trees shortly, starting them from cuttings but what I was planning on was starting them from cuttings and transplanting them by the first of September.. That won't work.. Every site I have looked at says it will take more than three months to get the gong.. Bummer, I was hopping to get them going by the first of September, not getting the project started then.. The shrubs next to the house are the target "trees" that I want to get going.. And the area is the ally planter that wasn't used this year..  We are wanting to get a shrub or small tree break there.. Short that don't go in the wires.. And this next to the house grows fast but can be kept tamed or seems like it can be kept tamed.. There are berries that grow on these and I'm not sure they are the seeds or not.. The berries are POISONOUS... Supposedly, mom had us convinced they are poison but I'm not sure and I never wanted to find out the hard way that she was right..   So would starting them from seed be better???  I'm not sure of anything anymore.. I checked how to go from clippings and that seems like a very long process but.. I'll check things out.. Hopefully we can get something going there in back.. i'd love to get the yellow willow growing in the front where the Red Maple was.. Maybe it will start.. Hopefully by the start of September.. You never know..

Is there any question after my last entry that there can be any doubt that Trump is the better choice?? This week was a show of what it will be like with him as the president..   And still there are those that would rather have him in the white house...  And then..

We laugh at this.. The sad statement is that there are so many Americans that can back Trump and not think twice that a lot of what he is saying is ... pure HORRIBLE... Yesterday I saw where he said he would change the first amendment...  Change it to where he could sue people for publishing things that he said.. And that lawsuit might even extend to video because he doesn't want anything he says to be used against him to make him look bad, even if it is on digital (tape as it were)... And the people at that rally cheered like it was the best thing they had heard.. The fact that it was that they were cheering the first amendment to be changed to where they would no longer have the right to free speech... Unbelievable!! 

Well this was on someones FB recently... This is pure stupid beyond even my belief.. Like one has anything remotely to do with the other.. For one thing when the second amendment was set in place any country could still come here and try to overthrow or government.. Muskets WERE  the gun that we had back then, there was definitely a chance that a country could do that and so for that reason I believe in the second amendment as it was written back then.. But today with the manufactured bullets and the fact that we can't stop killing ourselves.. Time for an amending to the amendment.. Mostly to keep those who shouldn't have guns from getting them... There is a way to test for that.. Let's start doing that.. As far as the free speech.. See above.. That might be in trouble if Trump gets elected..

How to stop Trump from Nuking Mexico... Sounds like a joke but in my last entry is you dared read that link you should be very scarred about Trump being in charge of the nukes.. Listen.. There is a chance he might have been thinking why can't we use field nukes.. You know those videos of the troops testing field nukes that were really small amount that they blew up.. If there is such a thing as small nuclear weaponry.. And that might be better than using one of the nukes in the missiles silos around states like Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Colorado... You know, where no one really lives, middle America.. Hey... I live there.. And I can walk to five silos, I can drive you to ten more, and it would take less than an hour for me to show you all fifteen of them..   Trumps mentality would be hey, collateral damage if the middle of America were hit by nukes.. Guess what dum dum, if we get hit YOU GET HIT.. The fallout would drift your direction.. And what makes you think if we hit them in the field that they won't stop at a few small nukes.. They would increase in size.. How would you measure a fair tit for tat war??  You don't.. You unload your weapons and head for your bomb shelter and count the days until you can come out of hiding.. That should be around three to four hundred years..   Thanks Donald Trump commander in Armageddon...  A vote for Trump is a vote to end all your worries..

This is hard to believe...  Back when I was in school I would look at the price of wheat and millet and.. you know, stuff they grow around here on the farms and from the time I was in junior high until I was in 12th grade, a senior the price really never changes much at all..   So when this story showed up in the local paper I really wasn't surprised.. How Wheat stays the same price but a loaf of bread rises... Baffles my mind.. Check this story out..
