I watched the entire first season on Fear the Walking Dead the prequel to the massively popular the Walking Dead series and I have to say for the most part.. it wasn't as good as I was hoping for.. For one thing the entire first season could have taken it's time about getting to the dead walking about reeking havoc by a little.. Just show a little more further back.. The biggest question I have is how did it all start.. But they started a little after it was under way.. And I really couldn't get into the people in the main part of the story..
Character development is what it is called and they really have no time to go about that.. Truth is no show can do that, they have the first segment to get you hooked, knowing the remote control is just right there to switch to some mind numbing show, you have ten minutes to get your audience hooked and development of character has to be done in that short time.. Remember you are trying to entertain the most fickle tv viewers on the planet, time to watch a new show is limited, watching one episode to see who does what and why we should care about them just isn't there.. Such was the case with not only Fear the walking dead but the show that is is the prequel to the walking dead which started with shit going awry..
My biggest problem with Fear the walking dead was the ending.. My feeling was they should have all eaten each other, not because they were zombies, but rather because they were tired of each others winy ass shit.. But a second season the would get to make everyone tear their hair out.. When will the torture end.. Make it stop.. make it STOP!!!
I don't mind the freedom of speech thing we have in our constitution, I use and abuse that right on every aspect of the internet all the time.. So you have your right to say something stupid and I had the right to answer.. This was in Mondays Point of Entry news paper ledger thing and the guy who's name I edited out because... Wow stupidity abounds but listen.. If you vote for Trump you are in fact voting for a republican who is really undefined party affiliation, he could easily be democrat and as well independent for that matter.. Listen when he said he would cut support spending for countries we don't get along with I fully agree with that.. But then that is about as far as I will go.. To me, Trump is nuts.. He will say what he is to get the nomination, then guess what will happen at the conference?? It looks like it will be a contested GOP conference and that means it will likely be a free for all.. Should he get the nomination by way of rankling the people there he will be doing so with a vast tv audience.. The world is watching and that means their opinion of Trump is very negative and they are very fearful that if he does get elected there could be wars everywhere.. Well that might actually be true if Cruz gets elected, shortly after he repeals every daggum word of Obamacare.. Trump is ignorant of world events, and has no idea what country is what.. when the rest of the republicans were against the Iranian deal it didn't matter because we were just one country in there, the rest had voted to ratify it and that meant they had a majority and so what we decided to do didn't matter, vote for it, vote against it, it was a done deal.. Listen, I don't like Trump or any of the republican party candidates this year, it was an extremely weak field, although large at 17 or however many there were, I think that is why Trump ran this year.. Nor do I particularly care for Hillary Clinton.. Maybe I would have mustered up some respect had she had the balls to leave Bill after the Monica Lewinsky ordeal.. Maybe their marriage was stronger.. sounds like serious horseshit but who knows.. Voting for Clinton will be like voting for.. ???? Hard to say.. I liked Bernie Sanders but all anyone could see is him turning the USA into a socialist (communist (read RUSSIA) state) and that just isn't true.. He wants an America that works together and eliminates certain classes.. Such more of the case of the poor, who seem like if you ere born into poverty and the government dole that you stayed there.. Getting higher education and for that matter a better education system seems like a good idea to me.. But there are those who don't understand.. "Why should these people get free education, I had to pay for mine..." Well ... That is the mentality that is ruining the country.. Stay the course..
My biggest fear with Trump is his ignorance toward foreign policy and the fact that he is pro build up of our armed services. It really isn't needed, we can still fight several wars at once.. It's his ignorance towards other countries and their traditions that could end up getting us into a nuclear war.. Even if he is tight with Russia leader Putin, he is batshit crazy and so is Trump.. Hopefully the "I'mvoting for Trump because he's not a born politician.." mentality will subside.. SOON..
Imagine, if you will, a ref and his crew decided not to enforce the new rules for blocking this year in the NFL?? I mean the rules for blocking where it comes to running and blocking the cut block rules which in all honesty I thought cut blocks were illegal to start with.. When I saw the video of the cut blocks they are trying to eliminate I thought but these are so ticky tacky.. It's like enforcing the holding rules as they say there is holding on every play.. Well get ready for more holding because that cut block which is hard to detect, will oped up the holding to be even more.. The Bronco's so proudly resigned their running back corp and I'm thinking they better be good at catching passes because that is what they will have to do to move the ball this year.. Hey, that kicking the extra point from the fifteen yard line rule, how did that work for you?? How about the new rule this year, called the Manning rule, where like last season when Peyton went down in the backfield but wasn't touched got back up and continued the play.. To me that was a form of cheating.. Peyton was constantly going down like that to keep from being hit, and in this case he went down, nobody was that close and I think he did it intentially to see what would happen.. Likely it was a one time thing but he caught the eye of the rules commitee.. The same thing happened to Cam Newton in the super bowl, he was being chased and was about to be hit but went down and I don't know that he got touched to be downed and he got up to run but was blown down where he was.. Truth is when the QB is running and gives himself up like that he isn't even supposed to be touched although most of the time they do get touched, fairly hard too..
So the question who will this team and that team get in the draft the next few days.. Denver will get who they can but a starting QB sounds like out of the question, Hearing the rumor that the Broncos are looking at Sam Bradford was the latest QB they are looking at is more than a little scary.. He is as much known for his injury list as RGIII was and thankfully he opted not to play in the league this year.. Or rather be in Cleveland.. same thing.. And I was glad he will not play for all that money he will be getting.. Denver needs a QB not a bench warmer..
How did I feel about Colin Kaepernick playing in Denver this season?? I liked it, a little, not a lot but a little, more than Bradford for sure.. Don't get me wrong, I think Bradford was a great QB there at Oklahoma, but he has struggled mostly to stay healthy in the NFL.. Kaepernick dould be the same way healthwise.. Now with Bradford, if he comes to Denver they will have to literally reprogram him.. The same thing will be in effect with Sanchez but him knowing this is a team that just won the super bowl has to be a lot easier to listen to the coaching staff.. Could the trade be completed for Kaepernick by the draft?? NO.. I mean there is always a chance but it is a financial situation, The cap is on the verge of being smashed and.. Well Kepernick doesn't seem to have budged to get moved into Denver.. More than anything I have been calling the situation with Kaepernick him throwing a tantrum more than a reality wanting to move anywhere.. He wanted to go to Cleveland as well.. So trading the 49ers dysfunction, for the Cleveland Dysfunctions.. psst, the name of the team is in their mascot, Dysfunction are run backwards and tackled eventually defense.. And Johnny Manzeil having to get off work from his job at Subway.. eat fresh..
Who will Denver get?? I still think getting Kaepernick is still on the table (I hope) but in the same thinking if they bring him in and he doesn't work out then you have a QB dysfunction that you really don't need.. I think Sanchez can do the job, I mean Manning at his best last year was only marginal to his greatest season from two seasons prior with the greatest offensive team he was ever on.. Last seasons 19 interceptions was one of his worst seasons.. And yet the team went to the playoffs and even won the super bowl, if Sanchez can play within the system, I think the team should do fine.. Here's a hint John (Elway) get Von Miller paid, and everything will be fine..

(P.S. the morning after the first round of the draft and the Broncos first pick.. I really didn't see them picking a QB but... That's why nobody talks to me about my football knowledge.. Elway learned from somewhere how to be Mr. cool calm collected when it comes to building a team.. Building the team over a fairly short amount of time, of course getting Manning was a coup and shortened that building process by a lot.. One thing I think he has learned from this year is never have a QB situation like the one he had, Manning was in a five season contract with the knowing that in any of those seasons if they won the super bowl he would likely retire, he played one season too long but was able to pull it out in the end.. Osweiler was the presumed starter for this season, Elway wanted to see what he could do as a starter rather than dole out big money for a reasonably good backup QB, and everyone I heard said the same thing, Osweiler stays in Denver for a fair contract and prove himself and then either move on or get the big money.. Or he can go to Houston, get a big contract and... We'll see how the rest of that gets filled in, he might be good, he might be great.. That Houston team plays in Denver this season, against a defense that might be better this year than it was winning the super bowl last year.. )
Final post script on the draft this year.. How do you feel after this years draft?? Me? I feel alright, a few surprises mainly the QB pick of Paxton Lynch (I assume his fans will be called the Lynch mob there in Denver).. It was a surprise pick, he could be the future or he could end up a flop.. Hopefully they will bring him along slowly, he hopefully will have the same attitude as the former backup QB Brock Osweiler, hopefully, but in this case he could be looking at starting in the first season, sometime around week ten.. Osweiler never stood a chance with Manning, even when he was hurt two seasons ago. Last year he started a few games but in my mind he struggled a bit.. Lynch is coming in with the knowledge that he is the future of this team.. There is a completely different feeling there.. Sanchez should be the starter unless things get really out of whack.. The rest of the picks the one that stands out is Jason Alexander full back from Nebraska.. That should fill out the playbook for Kubiak, using a true FB to help block, do the full back trap once every now and then, having a fairly mobile QB will give him the ability to spread defenses extremely thin.. This is going to be an exciting season.. Just keep the defense healthy.. Will Miller come in ready to play or will he be out of shape?? He is in that show dancing with the stars.. He should be in the best shape of his career..
The tech guy for the internet was all set to stop by this morning as I was getting done eating breakfast.. He calls we let the butler get it.. the answering machine and so when he calls back I tell him the internet speed is fine, it was showing 9Mbps. but could he come by around 4 this afternoon.. He said he had other things to do elsewhere and he would try to get back by about four.. I said between the hours of four and seven but really it could also be until eleven as well.. Why did I send him away, could he have been able to tell there was an issue with anything before that?? He stopped by before when the internet was fine, I was having issues with it but on this day I thought yeah, it looks fine but since I was having trouble he would be able to see there was an issue.. Big mistake, he looked at it and said everything was fine.. I then thought if I can get him to come by when it sucks then maybe he will find an issue.. What I could see happening was him coming by and like a few minutes ago the internet was showing 11Mbps. before he called the second time.. After he called I tested again, was 14Mbps... Then just before I started this entry I ran another test and it was worse but not a big deal, it was at just over 5Mbps, which he would have said well that is what you are paying for.. So hopefully by 4 he will run a test and it will be back to the under 1Mbps I tested out for the past three or four months.. But I'm willing to bet it will be fine.. If that happens I will step it back and just go with the 1Mbps.. Why argue?? It is fine.. I will just assume that the streaming device was never meant to be used here as I suspected all along.. Our internet was never meant to support such technology.. Who knows, I always look to the negative.. We don't win EVER..

(P.S. .. about thirty or so minutes until the tech hits here.. The internet speed tested just a second ago and it was at 9Mbps... I will likely turn him away, the internet is fine.. There is a word that comes to mind when this happens... Oh.. Did you power cycle the modem?? Yep, I do that daily.. Your computer is old.. Yep, guess that means buy a new one.. Oh wait sir.. My roku acts like it is starving for signal (internet). how old is it?? Three or four years old.. Yep that's old, get a new one.. Alright I guess that's good, oh wait.. Same thing happens to my moms computer and yes it is old too, almost a WHOLE FUCKING YEAR OLD.. Better give the internet a look see then, because I'm pretty sure if you fix the modem, EVERYTHING WILL WORK RIGHT... But I don't know, I could be wrong.....)
Clock strikes four and like clockwork the internet turns to shit.. Almost on the second.. Ping 230 and 2.74Mbps ... Hope he shows but I bet he won't..
(Final post script.. When all was said and done yesterday the guy was set to try to come after four but was a no show no call situation, which tells me two things.. 1 he knows exactly when and why the internet turns to shit and there is nothing he can do about it and 2 they are hoping we will leave not only their internet but the cable and the phone.. I highly doubt there are that many people on any of their services here in town.. I am looking for houses that DON'T have a dish of some sort on them, the people next door have two dishes now and there are more getting those little white dish antenna on them, which I assume is for internet service.. In all honesty the guy was all set to come yesterday morning but he was only going to check our internet speed which I told him if he is dead set to come at that time that the internet was quite good, and usually is in the morning.. It goes like this, at 8 ish when I first get on the internet is really good, around noon still good but not great.. Four in the afternoon, almost to the second the internet goes from double digit on the speed test to under five and gets slower as the evening progresses, so that by prime time, around 7 ish, it tests out at or just under 1Mbps.. And stays shitty until about 11 when it gets better.. By two in the morning it tests really good and this morning at about three it tests out at the best I have ever seen at seventy over six test which averages out to just over 7Mbps.. So I guess I have to adjust my viewing times and I think that is what I will have to do this summer.. )
Who knew that would be the case.. I never did, no blog of mine has ever not registered a single view.. But Infinite Improbability has in fact hit the zero mark.. Even Some Other Place.. A video I was fairly proud of.. oh well when the final video is on there it will be the final video.. There will be no more.. In fact a month after it plays instead of Absent Man v2 being set to live the whole blog will be erased.. That's ok, you can't miss what you never saw in the first place..
So there on my Badge Henry FB site I kept getting an invite to play a game by someone that I really don't even know.. So here after a few weeks of rarely being on there I thought ok already I'll give it a go.. It's detective game of sorts and I thought i'd give it a shot.. Truth is this game intrigues me but upon playing it the first time I felt like it missed the mark a little, some things could be different on it.. visually the game lacks a little bit, certain items look nothing like you think they should and I found myself clicking on literally every item on the screen.. It is a little fun and interesting.. I might try it again sometime later.. I tried Scrabble on Facebook last summer and it plays like those email chess games, which is fine, you play a turn and the opponent plays eventually.. My problem with this style of play is simple, I play a scrabble game on the computer that has the blitz mode, I set the perameters of the speed and in this case I get 45 seconds and the computer gets 45 seconds as well but rarely uses five, so the game moves and I like that.. So the slow tedium of scrabble on Facebook is not for me.. It took me some two weeks of plays to get a 45 point lead and considered too big of a deficit to overcome he didn't finish.. Bummer. Facebook games have a mind numbing effect, the farmville game seems more time ruining than anything.. i tried that university game where you are the program director at a college and you make everything happen from building every aspect of a school.. That was tedium.. I gave up after a week.. There are other games I might try but.. they will have to move to hold my attention..
Speed test as of last night.. This freaked me out.. Ping (latency) was 2614... That should tell you how things went with the speed test, a higher number in ping test means really shitty internet.. .20Mbps download (that's point 20Mbps) and upload was .02Mbps... point zero two.. WOW That would have been fast in the dial up era.. Today, right now.. on the http://www.pingtest.net/ which is part of the speed test second page but every bit as important.. Packet loss, I don't have java activated for what the reason is.. Ping = 39ms Jitter = 7ms giving a rating of "B" on the page.. What this tells us is this is very good internet, not the best A rating but get real, does anyone get A ?... Speed test from http://www.speedtest.net/ and the closest server is ALLO server 45 miles away.. Ping =179 which was double figure a few minutes ago yeilding a really nice speed test, what is it with that 179 figure?? 4.21Mbps which is shitty but acceptable for the roku.. .24Mbps upload speed is so slow it isn't even funny for those of us who put videos on YouTube it can mean two hours to upload a two minute clip.. 21 Days Under The Sky, about these guys who rode their bikes from San Francisco to Brooklyn to be part of a gathering there.. 21 days to ride that far is simple, until you realize their gas tanks could get them only a hundred miles at a time.. There are areas in Utah where it can be two or three hundred miles between buildings let alone gas pumps.. Really interesting movie.. By the way this isn't the trailer, this is the actual movie..
I also finished the 80th episode of Nurse Jackie, was that the end?? You watch it and the final episode
description doesn't read like it is the end of the series.. BUT IT IS.. What a crappy way to end it.. Unless Netflix gets it and ends the series right that will be the way we all remember the ending of this show.. What a crappy ending..
Also watching the sixties miniseries.. Very interesting.. Cuckoo isn't as good without Adam Sandburg in in it, but then it wasn't that good with him in it either.. The Ranch seems to be a show with all of Kutchers friends in it.. The latest having Jon Cryer he from the last few seasons of two and a half men.. Don't get me wrong Jon is a good actor.. He is also in NCIS as a doctor, a fairly serious part.. Just got through with season one of One Tree Hill.. in which we saw Dan collapse of a heart attack.. Heart attack?? I thought you had to have a heart to have a heart attack.. Guess they will do exploratory surgery, see if they can find it.. Yeah there is some seriously over acting in this.. but.. Sophia Bush.. 'nuff said.. Just started watching Republic of Doyle.. Hopefully we can get the internet to be stable so I can finish this show about the time football season starts.. Speaking of football season.. .. That will be tomorrows entry..
Sometime in the past week or so has stopped working on all the browsers that I use.. The ability to take the memes that are there.. Started being that way with the UC browser that I have been using, then I checked Pale Moon, then ... Safari.. so if that has effected (or affected, take your choice) me in that way what will I use to do any blog entries.. I can't get the latest smart ass memes, i'm rather screwed then.. But not to worry, it's not going to effect me at all really.. Yes there will be no more FB memes but they all come from someplace, and I know where that is and it really is no issue to get them.. They will still be a year late and a dollar short, but that's ok..
There was no rain in the forecast last night so where did that come from?? Well it was forecast but as with everything, the weatherman can be right ten percent of the time and still have a job tomorrow..
I'm gonna plant my tomatoes.. said someone on the radio as she said they are getting gangly.. Well plant them yesterday, it was nice, what could possibly happen to them.. Yesterday (Saturday) was 80 degrees, and a sure sign it won't frost again anytime soon will it?? No, not until Thursday, or Tuesday, or Friday but not to worry they need a good spanking..
We are looking for shrubs possibly for the ally planter.. Mom asks are you planning to plant anything in there, and maybe I will but right now it is looking to be my compost finisher area this year, making the compost batches complete their making compost in the ground like I did last year.. I used a little three foot by four area next to the gas meter as the compost finishing place.. Yes it takes this little compost tumbler six weeks not four like the larger versions. But four is close enough, it's just a little gooier.. Not quite done but close enough, when you consider the years prior I wasn't paying attention and not bothering turning the thing but once ever few days.. Gotta do that every day..
Is it me or...??? Ok I listen to Steve Czaben every day.. He has his own radio show on the satellite radio and he has his way of doing things, such as he has three tv screens he watches while watching sports of every kind.. I think of that and to me you know to each his own. But to watch three screens simultaneously is . Takes a talent, but he has gotten listeners to convert their watching habits as well.. Then there is his tv watching preference.. You know how I'm bitching about our internet being around 1Mbps.. that means I have standard video, in fact substandard, there is no way any HD video could make it through that low of internet speed.. He has what is called 4K.. what is 4K?? 4K s the next step up from 720p (Or i, not sure which is which or if it matters for this rant) then there is 1080i (again or p...) and then there is 2160p and then there is 4K.. What exactly is broadcast in 4K?? Almost nothing at all.. How much internet does that take? A Google search says a speed of 25Mbps.. Wow, that's never happening here any time soon.. The best we can get is 20megs.. So here is my biggest gripe.. a friend went to a trade show a few years back and entered to win one of those big screen tvs and won the damn thing.. I was watching the tv and yeah, that is impressive if you really look hard.. I'm not impressed with HD, mostly because they said it would be like looking out a window at the stadium.. Really?? because it looks like i'm looking at a tv screen to me.. How great is 4K video??? How great is ultra HD?? Three dimension was the latest greatest thing but it died still born and this guy is pushing 4K like it is better than 3D.. Bandwidth will be the downfall of this new format.. I was just looking at the roku forum and there is a guy wanting to view the show he knows is in 4K but can't get it to show it is being streamed that way.. Wish I had three of his 30Mbps and he had a feather up his ass.. oh well.. You live in the metro and you get the perks of living there..
On the DTC Facebook page they have a proud advert about having new high speed internet shit and my comment was "No you don't.. If you do we got ours switched to a five megs modem, when does this start exactly?" And I got a IM response earlier today.. After talking to the person and showing the speed I get the person said that isn't right.. I thought well... no shit.. So they will send a techie to look at it Monday ish.. Yep, eventually they will check it.. Or maybe not, I have no idea, but they will either check it or we will go back to what we had (have) and that will be alright.. Internet management skills 101, don't trust the ISP any further than you can throw them.. Instead go on a forum and talk to them about it.. By the way at the end of the forum post, I said why do I feel like I'm being screwed?? And after I got the reply to check router settings someone later said after doing the settings it is quite likely I am still being screwed because with all the settings to the router being done that likely was the fix, not more megs... I was going to reply to that yeah, I had that feeling when the speed test showed what it did.. Turns out that might have been the fix, we still don't have the 5megs...

(P.S. again.. Ok, when I first turned on the computer that Thursday I thought, yep that is five megs no doubt about it.. Then as the day progressed I thought it was running a little like it had been, there was no change.. Naw, it's my imagination, this is five megs, it won't be a lot faster than what we had with the 1megs modem.. Then that night as I'm watching a show of Netflix on the roku my worst fears were realized, as the show stopped to buffer I thought here we are, paying more money for the internet to be exactly the same as it always was.. WTF.. So by the next day I run speed test almost hourly, and during those hours that it normally is great it was the same, then four in the afternoon hits and almost to the minute the internet goes from double figure Mbps to half that and gradually over the next two hours it goes down proportionally to what I think would be the number of people getting on line.. But here's the thing.. There are very few people who have the internet here in town.. There are more people using other things to access the internet.. We are the very few, and I mean seriously few that get cable tv from them, and that translates into about the same number who get internet from them.. My number estimate on how many get internet would be around maybe ten.. And that is a stretch, the number of houses without a dish type of satelitte tv system is five.. i think there arefive houses that don't have a dish of some sort.. So what does this mean?? i'm thinking they would like everyone to be off everything so they could stop worrying about it.. Why does the internet slow down that bad if nobody is actually on it?? Simple, a throttling program that all internet providers use.. Like I said at four in the afternoon almost to the minute, the internet colapses, stops almost stops.. Why do they do that?? Because they can... )
Very slight change on the I.I. site with the videos.. There was a second second part of the absent man video, redone to try for a better ending which wasn't holding to the original feeling of the first video so it was placed in there as kind of a showing what happens when I try to better improve the video.. But i liked the original so .. And to keep any confusion from occurring, I moved it to July.. Moving all the videos up a day, then taking what I feel is the credits roll video, Guesswerkorange, to between absent man part 2 and Reprise.. which ends the video project on the 21st of May instead of the 22nd.. Wow that was important to tell seeing as how nobody watches them. But in my mind.. Good 'nuff..
I went to bed last night thinking I'm gonna have to call DTC about their not increasing the speed of our internet.. This morning I awoke thinking who can I contact about this issue, then I was on the Roku forum and decided why not ask these guys, so i did. They are the best, I'm not the brightest when it comes to computer geekery so I tried to explain it the best as I could and this guy answered quite quickly as a matter of fact, told me to try this and that in the router settings and I did.. Tested to roku, a channel that had troubles showing opened up and showed what was on.. Checked the speed, double figures across the board.. Well that was worth the thirty seconds it took to do.. went back to the forum and thanked the guy.. They might be egg heads but I'd rather do that then try to call the DTC techies because they have a way of making feel like you are an idiot..

(P.S. Why do I gush like a little school girl like that in this entry.. Listen, DTC internet as well as every other ISP likely has the best test testing numbers in the early part of the day.. Our tested here at over 20Mbps and that is really good.. It tested out at double figures on the Roku speed test app when I tested it earlier today.. I was happy and though this was the best ever (squeals the little school girl in me).. Then the four o'clock hour came and our internet slowed to a crawl.. How do I know?? I was switching from one page to another and then went to a site and played a video, it took forever for it to buffer and then started to play and then stopped to buffer.. While this was going on, I opened the speed test to see where we stand.. And download speed was .21Mbps.. point twenty one.. That is way below the promised 5Mbps we are supposed to be at.. It's no different from last week.. Guess who's going to call DTC Monday?? Guess who is going to go back to the 1Mbps we had before.. Guess who was sold a bag of shit goods?? I got screwed.. No other way to put it.. )
We got this card in the mail back in... March I think.. And for five dollars we could increase to five MBPS.. WOW.. I say wow... And so finally yesterday after a Saturday of the worst internet we have had in .. quite a while.. I decided either we increase the internet speed or ditch Netflix and the roku likely.. Netflix has the best delivery of any of the channels on the roku except for Weather Underground and the I-tunes app as well as any radio app... Everything else is crap when there is someone else putting such a demand on the internet.. But this is just the weekend that he is here, in just a little less than a month he will likely be here almost all summer.. I don't mind him watching his mindcraft videos over and over during the day, it's when he watches at night and into the very wee hours of the early morning that I think is obsessive (not that watching the same ten videos doesn't count as obsessive), just that watching those videos into prime time and it makes the movie buffer.. I have Netflix set at the very lowest setting, I don't have a HD tv and so I don't care as long as the video isn't pixellated or turning to mush.. So I call our ISP up yesterday and say yeah I got this card a while back can we try to upgrade. She says no problem and so after all is said and done I ask if the guy has to come by and give us a new modem.. Nope, they just have to push a few buttons and everything should be set by tonight.. as I'm getting ready to hang up she says, "if this doesn't clear it up call us back and we'll try 10meg.. Oh you think so.. She doesn't know me, I won't go up to ten, I will go back to 1 and adjust the computer to be off line during the evening hours.. That was yesterday.. So I run a speed test before I get off the computer last evening and it shows exactly what it did the last night I tried it.. Ok, maybe when she said we will have it by tonight she meant before midnight. So the roku has a speed test app to check internet speed and I test it three times last night and well.. There is no change.. Should I call to see if it got changed?? I thought of that but then I thought lets see how it looks this weekend when the Youtube kid is on it.. if it acts the same as it did last weekend I will call them and find out when we will get switched and if she says you all is already switched I'm gonna come unglued a bit.. Tell her the scam of upgrading isn't going to work with me.. They have one, five, ten and twenty megs modems. Now a few years ago I called their internet help desk to ask about how much the speed test should say, and he says a one megs modem will get us 1Mbps reading.. Really?? There are times I get 30Mbps (very rare) but most of the time I get around three on average.. At peak with the youtube kid on I get under one... Or slightly faster than dial up.. well with that logic of one megs modem getting us one then five should yield us, oh I don't know .. FIVE Mbps.. So when does this start I wonder.. It won't.. Remember as I was about to hangup and she says if that doesn't clear it up we'll try ten.. No.. No we won't we'll see what that does.. Hey five bucks is five bucks, you want to cheat me try playing me in Monopoly, I call your bluff there too..
Phudge Nuts on Parade will remain on until at least ... January 13.. 2018... That is when the end will happen.. maybe.. I mean.. Here's the thing, and i don't know why I did it this way.. There was a time about a year or so ago, I was doing entries a day or two in advance, then I did the wild unthinkable, I did an entry or set the entries to be a week in advance, then a whole two weeks in advance.. So radical that was that I did the unthinkable again, and went a month in advance and that was great.. To not have to worry, I would get on on Mondays and do two weeks worth of entries, and then.. Don't ask me why but I announced that the blog would be ending by election week in November this year, and as I started to move towards that date I found myself being awful glad I was ending the blog by then although as it turned out it was going to end a week early with me saying I don't care anymore.. Then I started getting more goofy ass shit to put on a blog somewhere.. Let's see.. Start a new one... Yeah, start a new one.. But why.. So rather than start a new blog, rescind the ending date and move forward and so the finish line was removed and I started again.. One more years worth of entries were done and as I lapped the date that was in February I felt like it can be done.. I had acquired some three thousand memes and shit and would put that up and kept getting more, in fact I had enough to get well into 2018 but decided rather than set up to be two years in advance I would stop in November and ended up with entries stretching into December with the final one making it to the 18th.. Setting up the YMB entry being in January... So what to do with these extras and everything i'm getting now?? Second entries will be on there.. As well there are ten days at the end of October and just before election that are reserved for political horseshit entries, since I didn't then know who was going to be the republican nominee nor the democrat (right, like there is any question it will be Hills) So I wanted a few open dates for that.. Also video clips will be uploaded for some dates starting in January '17.. Other than that PNOP is done until January of '18.. Great, for the three of four of you looking at that..
Philosophy, like colour tv, is all there in black and white::.. Every now and then I see things on FB that reminds me of when my older brother would put "I think, therefor I am.." type of shit on his FB page and people would go nuts and say what greatness that was.. And then I would put something like, "well looks like he got some deep thoughts toilet paper for his birthday, some of that is rubbing off.." No wonder we're no longer friends on Facebook... Oh well, it's not the first time I made a joke that backfired..

Try to figure out what the yard will be like this summer.. My older brother asked me what it will be like this coming spring and at the time I wasn't figuring on anything yet, this was likely in December or January... I do think of ideas to do but nothing was set in stone.. A rotation of "crops" is in order as it is every year.. The pumpkin patch might move to the gas meter planting site where the tomatoes were last year, a possible expansion was thought of but because the pumpkins might go there that will be out.. Tomatoes in the old pumpkin patch?? That is a possibility, but only four at the most, that would give me between six and seven plants all together.. What will go in the ally planter?? We are thinking shrubs maybe.. The first step in growing something there permanently.. Growing a memorial tree, as mom and dad did whenever an event took place such as the birth of my older brothers daughters in the form of the pine trees in the back yard.. Or the yellow willow tree for my little brothers marriage.. Or that red maple in the front for my dads passing away.. Other events to try to memorialize eventually but not sure what kind of tree or where to plant them.. The red maple took it in the shorts this past August and while it looked for a time that the tree might be making a miraculous recovery, rebirth, the rogue trees don't usually make a very good tree, and that was the case for this one as this spring it wasn't alive.. Replanting in that same location isn't my idea of a good idea.. I never knew the wind blew that violently there but after three times of being hit by the wind with the third time snapping the tree in half, I got the message.. DON'T PLANT THERE... I got ya.. not going to plant that kind of tree there.. But we might give a pine tree a shot.. You never know.. I'm looking around at trees, different types of trees, not just pine.. Pine trees aren't favorites to me but I like them now more than I did when I was younger.. Supposedly pine trees was what gave me the hives when I was younger..
Prepped the planting area next to the fence this past November, it should be ready to be planted with whatever might get planted there.. Then there is this little nugget.. I have never, as far as I know it, never mowed the grass in April.. That might change this Thursday.. Some patches need mowing, other areas are greens height, meaning dill a hole for the ball to go in let's play some golf.. But it likely will grow fairly fast.. The big question is will the compost tumbler be started from scratch or should I continue with what was started back in October.. All the pumpkins, or rather some of the pumpkins were tossed in there and the tomatoe plants after they got frosted.. I don't think everything in there is composted yet and so a little grass clippings should get the ball rolling.. Get that done and move forward.. reseeding some of the lawn?? Well this year after power raking it I saw a few places that might need a spot seeding.. Not very much at all really but I have a little.. And those purty yellow flowers.. i'm gonna let them grow this year.. Not going to treat them right yet...

Wake up with a headache, nothing new there.. This past Saturday was not that bad at the very first.. Then I woke up.. Checked the email, Facebook(s) and everything therein.. Then headed for the movie of the day.. I had never seen Scarface before.. Through the entirety of that movie my head started to pound and throb.. Well this movie sucks.. The movie didn't suck, my head hurting was the worst part of it.. Then I came down and something strange was going on.. My left eye wouldn't focus... What the hell is this about.. I've had this many times before when watching something on the old CRT (tube) tvs from back in the day.. It would take a short time to get my eyes to refocus and things were fine.. This was different, it would take through the rest of the day and beyond the night for my eye to get back to normal.. Finally yesterday morning it was back to normal.. So what happened?? My feeling was that three or four nights in a row of not getting more than a few hours of sleep caught up to me.. This happens when I don't get at least four to five hours of sleep a night..
Wow, we flooded over the weekend.. Well you know that will happen, when they call for 8 inches of rain, and we got an eighth of that.. We got a whole inch of rain.. Hey I'm not complaining, I was more than a little nervous about getting that much rain from the forecast.. Thanks for being wrong on that..
The movies I watched this weekend were.. Well, Scarface.. I had never seen that one before.. "Say hello to my little friend..." Yep, that line was there... Then I watched My Girl, with Macaulay Culkin in the geeky little boy roll.. And Anna Chlumsky.. Another movie I had never seen before... Then there was this little movie.. :
Any time I watch a documentary about something I know I'm gonna get pissed off.. Drone was no exception.. You know that the truth of the matter is and I felt this way before seeing this movie, I'd rather we use drones than put troops on the ground.. There are several ways to look at this though.. Having people use drones takes the horribleness out of shooting the gun on location.. Flying the drone means you can kill whoever and still go home for supper that night.. The feeling I had was so we are doing this and there are casualties from innocent people, there would be anyway in a regular war.. Drones can drop a bomb and take out whoever you are aiming at, and whoever is within twenty feet and maim others nearby.. What I got from the movie is we shouldn't be using drones and my feeling is they should work on the technology to get it fool proof.. They are using bombs now, what if they develop a smart bullet (like James Bond) and when they shoot it targets the person via their dna.. But the coldness of drone warfare is such that other forms of warfare could be acceptable to use.. Poison gas, small but deadly nukes or.. Full on nuclear war.. As long as we win who cares...
A little news, for those who are watching the infinity video project on another blog.. It's over.. I mean that project will end before the end of May.. Initially it was going to end by around August.. But I decided to chop it in half with a lot of the videos previously being here when they were originally done and uploaded.. The number I had in mind was the final twelve and they should be done by the end of may.. Before the end of may, more like the 20th or there about.. The project after that will be vocal laden, but only have five videos and then after that it will be more of these videos like the infinity project but might only occur once in a while.. Why end it this way??? Because it seems like a good idea, and the internet will change immensely in six weeks... So I won't be able to upload videos until late August...

Colourless Odorless is different in that it is a white screen from start to finish, a seventeen minute opus by Brian Eno in one of his many experimental phases where he was doing door bells and trying to make one of the greatest albums of all time.. It was never released but parts were acquired by.. certain means.. ahem... Just joking, actually it is a bell study album, quite interesting really..
Also starting this Monday (the 18th) the videos will run consecutively, each day will have a new video, through until .. it's done.. )
Ok, yesterday I was setting entries up for the PNOP blog and I had one get away from me.. I was getting tired of setting entries ahead and this one just had a brain fart, September 10 I think, and it was set to be September 10 but I forgot a step and so instead of being September 10 2017 it ended up being yesterday and so when I saw where it ended up after getting through with the 16th of September I thought, oh well, it's been there too long to reset it.. The goal on that blog is to set entries up through the first week of December, 2017 and then wait until August (next year) to go on about it..
Yesterday Facebook turd monkey, Mark Zuckerburger, said he was going to add the ability to have virtual reality to FB.. I have to say this.. I see people meandering the stores with their gadgets and it like a zombie apocalypse type of thing and my feelings are that if they are doing this out in the parking lot or whatever I would feel only slightly guilty running them over and if you add VR to the mix I think it should be full on legal to run these idiots over.. In fact it should be a game, like death-race ...

The nephew soccer season started yesterday.. My thinking was to try to get to the soccer field a bit early, for a reason that I was wanting to get a good parking space.. Well we got there an hour before game time.. Game was supposed to start at 5:30 and we got there at.. well 4:30.. Pick your parking place was the rule of that yesterday.. So we were there with no one else to argue over a parking space and he wants to stretch out.. So he runs, and runs.. it rains and still he runs.. are you stretched out enough yet? this being ten minutes later.. As things progress and quarter after 5 comes the first car gets there and shortly after more cars.. Kids are getting out there with soccer balls and start playing, Nephew was out there on the field and then he starts to retreat to the safety of anywhere where no one is, then he sees his friend and heads over there to run drills with the team.. Trouble is this isn't his team.. He comes back to the car all dejected and so I go ask his coach what's the haps (as it were) and he says nope not on my team, maybe his team is over yonder getting their pictures taken.. we go over and I ask what is your teams name?? I dunno... Who is your coach, do you see him??? .... ..... .... Were you here for practice?? Then finally somebody calls out his name and everything is good to go.. I decided to go back where we were parked earlier because he thought they were playing on the southwest field.. Or the next one next to it.. When he found his team he waved and that was when I drove over to where we were, had I known where the game was going to be played II would have tried to park closer.. They played in back of the field where the teams were warming up closest to the car.. I was thinking again.. Should just stop that.. Because I thought it would be played where he thought it was going to be played.. Why I assumed he knew about it.. I don't know.. The kid is a walking talking encyclopedia on anything minecraft but ask him anything that is real and he has no clue.. Hopefully he will have a better time the next time they play.. By the way they won.. And he got to play.. Played enough to where he was worn out.. but all of them were.. They played about an hour long game.. They play again this Saturday, the weather is supposed to be about half as warm as it was yesterday, 70 yesterday, around 30 at nine in the morning.. Not much warmer next Tuesday.. Hopefully the week after spring will return.. LIL LEAGUE SOCCER.. you gotta love it...

Earlier today mom and I (proper English watch out..) were talking about my little brother and his DJ business and it really has taken off to the point where this summer they are doing two gigs per weekend sometimes, and while that is good for that business it could take a toll on their health but.. To each his own.. Burnout happens when you least expect it to.. Then mom says well you should try to do that... I said no, I won't betray my love of rock and roll to play the shit they have to play..
This past weekend I watched some programs that I have watched before, on Netflix this time, and they really are interesting..
This isn't the program on Netflix, however fairly ... it is Tiny Houses, and in the show they go out and look at tiny houses and try to decide which is the layout for them. The first couple were newly married and my feeling was if they were to start a family a tiny house isn't the way to go.. But then the next episode the couple had four children and so they were after a 600 sq. foot tiny house.. That seemed like torture for their kids who each had a bedroom the size of the entire house they would move into.. I like the tiny house movement, truth is we went looking at trailer campers back about ten years ago and were stunned at the ones called R-pods, they were small but had everything exactly the way you needed it.. Could be towed by a medium sized car.. And before that, there was a time when my dad was wanting to get one of those Scamp trailers, because it could be towed by even a small car.. very lightweight.. It seems like every year at this time I get the camping bug and look at campers like this.. But the tiny house movement is very legit.. Then there was this gal looking for a tiny house, looked at what they call a yurt which is a glorified tent, a little heavier fabric but built as sort of a circle house.. She also looked at these Earthen houses which were built by putting earth (dirt) into what looks like the bags they put dirt in when they are bagging sand to build barriers to keep flood waters out, but they put dirt, and cement and then form the house that way.. A pod type of living.. Really an interesting show to watch, the entire series is longer than the five they had there right now.. I'm hopping they will add more eventually.. They also had a show called Tiny House Builders which was even fewer at two whole episodes.. But in this case they built the tiny house for people who were using the houses as a getaway and not for permenant housing.. You would have to change every aspect of how you live to be able to pull off living in a tiny house.. The fridge would have to be small.. The shower, very small.. But I'd love to give it a try..
Dontcha hate when a movie like E.T. the extraterrestrial is considered a classic.. Man I remember seeing that in the theater.. But yep there I was watching it on my giant screen tv.. My big 19 inch... But it's still good.. A little corny but still a good flick..
The phone rings.. I get to it and check the readout.. The number starts with an 888 or a 877... These can only mean one thing.. We need your $$$$... and most of the time I will get there at the perfect time to pick up after the third ring or during the third ring more to the point and that means I will say hello and as I get my hello out the person on the other end is walking on my hello and as the two of us are greeting each other simultaniously there is a third voice about to chime in, the answering machine which usually means the person on the other end hangs up per their rules.. And you would think that because they heard a human on the other end they would call right back.. But they don't.. Why?? I think they get paid by the sheer number of calls and getting another stooge to pay the cause doesn't matter.. They aren't part of the cause, they are hired to make as many calls as they can.. It's election time and that seems to be the busier time.. Why not get on the "Do not call list" ? Because that is really a fair sized scam, while it only costs time to get the number registered, sometimes I think it makes your phone ring more.. No call list is a scam?? Not if you believe it isn't... Good luck there.. The 877 number from last night.. When I am in the middle of a thought sometimes that thought gets vocalized when I pick up the phone and last night was "..and this is likely very important" and then say hello, the other end is silent.. I then say this is where you talk... Still nothing.. How important was it that I answered?? Very.. They got the number, it will pick up.. We will get calls in the coming days wanting donations.. I think the best thing you can do is when a 888 or numbers like this call is don't answer them.. Although sometimes it can be fun.. If i am working on a video track or music I will leave the phone near the speakers and let them enjoy some hold music. How long do they stay on.. Not very long... They have a certain number they have to call through their shift..
I'm in the middle or Daredevil on Netflix second season.. You gotta see this show, I'm not a Marvel comics fan but this show is really good... And then there is House of Cards with Kevin Spacey.. They are digging up the dirt on the Frank Underwood presidency.. Last nights show reminded me of All The Presidents Men, the movie about the Watergate Scandal that ended Nixon's presidency, in fact there are so many parallels to the Nixon and Reagan presidency.. Nixon abused his power, and Reagan was shot but survived to bungle his second term.. Very interesting to watch this show..
So you bought yourself a brand spanking new Roku and hooked it up.. and in the process you have read this blog, and read where I mention the REDDIT video channel and have searched the entire channel store and can't find that anywhere.. "He is full of shit, there is no REDDIT channel in either the channel store on the Roku or the private channel listings ANYWHERE..." Relax, I never said it was there... There is no channel that has this setting, it isn't a "legal" channel.. I mean it is legal otherwise it would be banned and made impossible to install.. Now what the channel is is a developers channel, was in the beginning and remains that way today..
Turn on your box and disable the screen saver for a bit, that way you won't have to worry about it going to sleep, that step is optional, I do it when there is a channel I have to link to my box via the computer.. Then go on the computer and link to this site: http://mkvxstream.blogspot.com/2013/01/secret-roku-troubleshooting-screens.html This has all the things you must know to really enjoy your roku (box).. Find the link to go to roku channels A to Z, you can look at all the channels if you like but as you get to the Y letter and YouTube you will find a channel called MYVIDEOBUZZ, initially it was called simply VIDEOBUZZ but they were made to take it off, it was a private channel in the day.. Loading the channel may seem hard and beyond very easy, but it is quite easy, if I could figure it out, ANYONE CAN.. Enable developer mode with your remote doing this sequence : Home 3X, Up 2X, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right This is the trickiest part although once you figure out the rhythm it will seem easy, you basically just click each button in relative ease, no big rush just do each one.. Ok got it then... Once the developer screen appears follow the directions agree to terms.. There is two different versions of the program, or were, the one you want is the very latest because it will update itself when you search for updates to the program and that is very easy.. Most channels update on their own, this one you have to check for them periodically.. You may have to chose a password for the server, enter one then restart your roku.. When it restarts it will be in developer mode.. Then you will need to get the channel program from the developers web site which is part of step three, a click this link type of thing, you get the zip file, set it to where you can find it.. Enter your Roku IP address, Locate the zip file, upload it to the roku using the install button, when it takes you will have the myvideobuzz channel and therein the REDDIT videos as well as a few other great channels that not even the actual YouTube channel has.. By the way the zip file must not be unzipped... That is very important.. To look for updates check here : https://www.reddit.com/r/VideoBuzz Usually there might be as many as three updates a year.. To update or check on the roku check the settings screen.. Now restart your box and enjoy YouTube and all the other videos you want to.. By the way you can set the box to get Vimeo and other video sharing sites but since there are video channels for that why would you set it for that, plus this plays the videos commercial free.. Enjoy.. Any problems with this just read the instructions on the page for MY VIDEOBUZZ in the MKV site above.. Punk.. Or the Rock movement that became punk.. Punk was strangely enough largely ignored by me when I was of the age when it first started, which is odd because upon listening to it some nearly twenty years after it started I liked what I was hearing.. Rolling Stone magazine has released a top 40 punk rock albums list and most of it was beyond me, mostly because it was noise with an erratic beat and others were the "greatest talent in the world" and yet to this day still qualifies as horrible not very good in my books, just a lot of excessive loud and just noise for noise sake.. Is it my age that prevents me from liking these others?? I don't think so, I tried being open minded.. The list includes Nirvana.. Maybe they were punk in the first album, but never mind was it's own movement towards the grunge movement, the Seattle sound with Sound Garden and Pearl Jam... What I thought was strange was that a great group that was extremely inspirational wasn't on the list.. The Motor City 5 (MC5) were not on the list at all... That seemed extremely odd and yet Television was.. I have the first two (the only two) albums by Television, and I thought of them as that shoe gaze rock, more than punk, for the main reason that there isn't a frantic pace to their music.. Not all punk music has that two minutes and a cloud of dust feel to it, but it seems like that is the main focus of the groups like the Ramones over all being is to put the disc on the platter crank it up and ten minutes later you heard twenty songs and the police are still looking for your house number.. When I first got into the Ramones it was by a fluke.. The group Skid Row had a short EP called besides ourselves and they had a song by the Ramones and so just as a fluke I thought I'd try their music, getting a live album first then best ofs next.. The frantic pacing was a little hard to get used to, seeing as I was into Pink Floyd and frantic pacing is not in their vocabulary..
I would get into other "Punk" groups mostly by accident, some I knew were classified as punk and others I wasn't sure of until later on.. The Sex Pistols, yeah I knew about them.. Wasn't sure how good they were, or weren't but still you gotta listen to them.. The Clash.. The Jam, the jam were punk but the one and only album I have is a concert and I really liked that album.. The New York Dolls, another great group but short lived.. I only got a best of that combined the best tracks from their three albums or whatever it was they had released before imploding.. Green Day was more of a modern day punk rock movement and although I was set to buy their entire catalog in one go of it, I decided against it.. For some reason.. Other groups I got snip its from a box set of the record company box set (Stiff Records box set).. that the company went tits up..
Phudge nuts blog is quickly coming to an end.. eventually... at the end of 2017 sometime.. maybe.. I mean.. It will end, and might end next year.. it was going to end at the end of this year with the election, but rather than that I decided to carry on.. Why??? i'm not sure.. I mean as of today I have entries through the month of July, 2017 and am heading for entries to finish out the year.. With everything that I currently have I will see the start of 2018, setting GIF files as the likely finish of everything there.. Why end it?? I thought of that, i thought of that for this year and truth be told with the idea of starting another blog to carry on doing what PNOP was doing (is doing) doesn't make any real sense to do that so why start another page when PNOp is still alright to continue on with.. That was my feeling when I was trying to decide weather to continue on.. March of the past two years have been recoup months, get entries to continue on.. This year was different, by the time I got entries into March it was August into September.. Then October happened.. I had enough to get into May of this year and thought that November should be the end for that blog.. And when that happened I thought good enough then, we'll limp to the finish line and call it a day, and as I got to that weekend I really did decide to stop.. And then I kept getting things to load up there.. Added a shit ton of pictures I had done over the years and found I could continue on well into the summer of '17, went to the sites I like to look at and found enough to get to September and continued going forth and getting enough things to make it to the end of October.. Continue on, sally forth, so I announced that I would move forward even though entries will be done to the end of 2017, possibly the start of 2018.. What will it mean?? It means nothing.. I'm not scared very easily normally but last night.. I wasn't scared so much as FREAKED OUT A BIT.. Here's what happened.. We went to the nephews third birthday party and coming home I was following a vehicle that had just passed me and trying to stay relatively close to keep any four legged friends away, but not annoy the guy for making the effort to pass me.. He then passed someone else further on up the road, me and mom were engrossed in conversation of some sort when suddenly there was what looked like a vehicle in my lane, literally he was right there in front of my, in my lane.. Was he coming towards me or going with traffic and slow.. I've had this happen before when I was coming home from the sugar factory way back when, I was coming up on something, a one eye, and I couldn't figure out what it was.. Turns out it was a hay bailer with a single light pointing back for watching the hey bailing action.. I nearly slammed into the back of that thing but had decided to slow down... Last night was the same thing, I hit the breaks, knowing it was just a couple years ago a young girl slammed into a kid that was in her lane causing a head on collision, you rarely walk away from one of those, the boy did, the girl didn't, he was in her lane late at night, this last night wasn't that late but it was late enough.. As I got up to him it was a pickup with an odd configuration of headlights, all four were on but not all were the same brightness.. He got by me and I told mom I thought he might have been in my lane, texting or some bull shit like that.. Pants change please..
I have started yet another Facebook page with my real name this time, what the other new FB was supposed to be but. When I started it it was going to be my real name but for whatever the reason, force of habit i'm guessing, it was another Badge Henry, and I knew it wasn't what I was after as soon as I started to set the pictures up... Badge Henry, damn... Oh well, wait sixty days and then change it.. But instead I put my nick name as Chuck.. So.. Now it is as close as it will ever be to my real name because the new FB page is my real name, or close as it is ever going to be.. Finding the security setting and testing page made me realize I could have just stayed with the BH one.. Well sometime last night or very early this morning the new page has taken the way I said I wanted it.. This one is for friends and family and by friends, I have to have met you, If I haven't met you, you won't be added to my friends list.. A cousin I saw that my older brother added to his friends list last year some time got added to his friends list.. I thought about adding him as well but with my online name being Badge Henry I thought better of it.. Well last night he friended me, same as with everyone so far, including my uncle from southern California... I friended him on my new Badge Henry page and he friended my new FB page.. The Badge Henry page I have friends I don't even know but I thought might have seen my name on my older brother's friends list so I friended them after they requested to be so.. Me not knowing the he isn't friended by me.. Where did they come from?? There are some five that I have no idea where they came from.. The new FB page is a lot more strict.. If I haven't met you or are not related there will be no friends for my real name site. The Badge Henry site, different story I guess, it wasn't supposed to be that way..
So I go on certain friends sites and check their friends list if they are open, and see who they follow.. Finding a few names I recognize and click on them to see what I can of them, and find out that their political stance and finding republicans and their staunch support of everything that is. Well let me put it this way, not everything that is on FNC is as that slanted, but they do quote from there as well as every other right wing wingnut there is.. And one was saying it is April 2nd and it is snowing in the Caribbean Islands, and said so much for global warming.. Like that doesn't show climate change at all.. It is snowing down there so there can't be global warming.. That is an exact reason to believe in climate change and this bible thumping moron doesn't even see it.. If he was on my friends list and I actually knew him I would have told him to get real and watch something other than FNC and whatever other conspiracy channel he watches.. I would say I would unfriend him but sometimes the unintended comments people make are funnier than things that are made to make you laugh...
It's been a while since I've done one of these what I watched entries.. I did see one extremely good.. Should I say great movies this past weekend.. It blew me away.. Check it out..
KAJAKI.. This movie is about a British troops that went on a search mission in a valley under where they are stationed to see what was there.. It was a dry river bed, filled as it turns out with Mines. Now initially only one man gets blown up, his leg being taken off and the other in fairly serious condition.. Then things go down hill from there.. There was a point where you have this feeling this is impossible to happen but as the description shows this was based on a true story.. This was just one of the best movies I have seen in quite a long time.. Caution should b taken, they are a full on British cast and in being so they might be hard to understand.. For whatever the reason I can understand Australians a lot easier..
This other movie called Before We Go, and it is a drama about a girl who's marriage is falling apart and a stranger who helps her out.. A bit of a love story, and has quite a few memorable lines in it..
Other shows i watched, Battle Creek starring the Mayhem guy on the All State commercials as well as Jush Duhamel, really interesting show got on my rotation after the Breaking Bad re-re-rewatching.. Then there was Cuckoo, staring Adam Samberg as the hippie that married a straight laced families daughter.. Very fun to watch, it has a Duglas Adams (I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.) feel to it, but he had nothing to do with it..
Nurse Jackie is another really good, somewhat dark humour show based on an emergency room nurse.. Zoe is a favorite in the show, and now it really is getting good in season six...
Started watching the Ranch with Ashton Kutcher as well as Danny Masterson, both known from That 70's show.. It has it's moments, but I am just in the first couple shows.. The jury is still out..
Wow, well I guess i lied about that one.. I was checking my FB site and where it said "I would choose the new one and it would be the only one..." Well that was a goof.. Sorry.. I started the new one with my real name to test security settings.. Well that is done, so now what?? I have decided it will be for family members and people I have met, no one that I have never met before.. Like on the new BH FB where almost half of my Friends are people I've never met before, so far as I know.. The new new FB will be reserved for family and friends I have ever met.. The number will be small but that is ok.. The old FB page had 29 and the current BH FB has about that many.. Reserving for family on the new one was what the new BH FB was supposed to be but I felt like maybe a few "friends" would be ok.. I thought about deleting them but then thought better of it with the new FB going on line a week ago today.. And a nice slow start is just what I needed as well...
If you could have a time machine transport you anywhere into the past, would yo go back, and how far?? You can't go forward, only back.. And you only get to keep a sketchy memory and have to inherit the body you had in the past, so in other words if you would want to go back ten years and you are 19, you get to be 9 years old and the body and very little memory of anything else.. This was something I was thinking about last night.. It might seem strange to a lot of people, knowing the shit I went through at the time that I would go back to.. I would go back to the second grade.. REALLY?? Well, strangely enough...YES.. Hypothetically speaking since it can't be done... But at the second grade at about May, because a lot of what happened that year did change the way my life turned out although truth be told there was pretty much every year that an event forged my existence.. Most people likely don't get held back mentally.. I felt completely lost from the time I started to school until.... NOW.. There were things that when I think back now could have been the reason I am the way I am now.. I have a nephew who is a little like me, he didn't get to hang out with kids in daycare setting and so getting into school he was lost, he didn't know how to act around other kids his own age and that is still the same way now some five years into his long education.. Hopefully he will learn the basics fairly soon. He is in second grade and by the time I was at the end of my second grade year I was riding a bicycle and he has no desire to ride.. He might get hurt.. Yep, that will happen.. But it's a good hurt.. You learn when you get hurt.. Nothing is worth having if you can't fall down and get a few scratches and a few bumps..
There were and still are times I have dejavu moments.. I have started watching that show One Tree Hill again (I know.. but it's fun to watch/sleep through and Sophia Bush... 'nuff said) And the other night I had a dejavu moment about the same part of the show as last year when I watched it.. Just something bout it, not about school but something else.. Really .. odd...
I started watching House of Cards a couple weeks ago.. The president got shot.. Here is a spoiler alert**** The president is played by Kevin Spacy, he is also a producer on the show.. Would he die?? Could he die?? Would he allow himself to be written out of the series that way?? oh hell no.. Last minute he got a liver transplant, within the hour he was back on his feet being an asshole.. He plays asshole well.. You know that commercial that shows a lady watching her show and the final credits to the show roll and the question gets asked what will you do now?? I just got done watching the show Suits and when Mike went to jail for being a fraud (spoiler alert... too late), I though as well as everyone else, him going to jail and the whole premise of a kid being a lawyer but not having the degree to do was the whole of the story.. Two years in jail.. Will there be two seasons with him in jail?? No, they will likely have a quick synopsis of what happened in those two years and then pick up there. But exactly where is there?? He can't practice law, the cat is out of the bag and truth be told even if he was found not guilty (as the jury foreman said was the case) he likely would have his goose be cooked... So where do they go from there??? Should be.. interesting??
When the guys on Breaking Bad Stole that Methlamine from that train car the first time I saw the show I thought they would have enough to cook for a year, maybe more.. But as things moved along Jesse got tired of living the way they were, as did Mike.. Walter wanted to cook until.... Well that storage unit that Skyler showed him being as full as it was with money might have snapped Walter out of his ever loving greed.. But he couldn't leave good enough alone as his ability to cook that pure of meth and the guys who continued on and wasn't getting anywhere near what he was getting stroked his ego big time.. He had to continue on.. Initially when they took all that i thought this show could go on for at least three more seasons and maybe that was the plan but I do think the producers were wanting the show to continue that way.. But Vince ended the show the next year, perfectly.. Had he continued on it would have dragged here and there.. I think a lot of fans would have loved three more years.. By the way the show ended though there were questions that were left unanswered.. a few that I felt could be left for a future breaking bad recap or appendix show.. A few questions to be answered, maybe in the future when Holly and Walt junior are older.. A revisited type of thing.. They all meet at a bar with Jesse and they start talking about Walter and his empire..
