The aftermat plus 3 days entry

Mom's tomato plant under the kitchen window.. How strange of a year has this one been??  These rose plants started out at the nub this spring and are now bigger than she has ever seen them.. The vine that I let grow up to the satellite tv anchor thing and didn't trim down before this season is reaching for anything to go somewhere.. It's out of control as is the theme of the entire garden this year..
The Earth box planter with the containers choice variety tomatoes in it.. The wind driven rain has yielded a set of plants that look like they were bitch slapped..
The Caspien Pink tomato was nailed by several branches and is struggling to find a reason to continue on.. I know how you feel little buddy, losing dads tree has changed my perspective on a lot of things.

Down here in the gas meter tomato planter area.. The start of the out of control plants area.. They are growing very well and look fantastic.. All three of these plants you could have fit in a pocket in your shirt.. They were that small.. And look at them now.. Every one of them are the strongest and most enduring of hail magnets I have ever seen.. Don't worry, your strength in that field won't go unused..
The pumpkins.. Well they are happy to grow anywhere and everywhere.. I wasn't joking when I said this would grow up the tree..
Out in the yard.. This set is fun to watch, part of the set that has the pumpkin in the tree..

Speaking of the pumpkin in the tree.. Here he is, growing quite quickly everyday.. It was up higher but with weight comes the ability to destroy everything it touches..

Within these pumpkin leaves is the tomato plant.. A krim variety meaning it will be a red or deep red colour when it is ripe.. Taste like pumpkin too I imagine..

Curbing the direction of the pumpkins that were about to close off he yard from yet one more access point..

Here there is a pumpkin in back of the shed.. I said a pumpkin could be deposited on the roof of the shed.. I might be interested in that if I was sure it wouldn't tear the roof up..
And within all this mass of mess of pumpkin plant are other pumpkins that are well developed.. I went in search of blossoms yesterday to stop them from setting on.. I think I counted 7 that were setting on in closing blossom form that I pulled off.. There are close to twenty that are setting on and well developed so I don't feel as bad about clipping them off..

There is a part of me that wishes that the storm had damaged the pumpkins.. Not torn all of them out but rather a few.. I should trim the plants back a little but I like to see them grow, and see where they end up going.. Fairly interesting..
These last two pictures are of where the hell trees were.. They got blown over by the wind.. Two of three were blown over.. Likely they wouldn't have grown very well mostly because they were clustered.. All three were within a five foot diameter and would have grown in a massive mess of thorny shitfuck.. But I will say two were laid over.. The third wasn't but I decided to clip it too.. Just because..
