I never used to watch the end credits of any show.. That was after all when you are supposed to wake up and leave the theater.. But last night I was watching Friday Night Lights and they had two guys credited in that episode as Dude #1 and Dude #2.. I shit you NOT...
This past weekend saw a few shows watched, no power outages that lasted for more than a few minutes total.. Not a very exciting storm at all really.. I didn't know we could have a rainstorm like that.. Saturday matine saw the old movie High Noon from 1952:
A nice western movie.. Sometimes the old black and white movie is the right way to see the old movies.. Good versus bad and sometimes it's one person against the bad guys gangs.. And the good guy wins and rides off into the sunset.. Spoiler alert.. TOO LATE..
Waking Up in Reno.. Yeah I've seen this movie quite a few times and sometimes it's nice to see a good old fashioned love quadrilateral...
I've gotten to where after the movie on Friday night, or even without the movie on Friday night and Saturday night I run comedy stand up shows..
Jim Jefferies is one of those comedians that works in comedy very blue but very interesting to hear his take on things.. I used to listen to the radio show Opie and Anthony and he would come on their show every now and then and have some very interesting stories he would talk about.. Most of them are true.. The fireworks story being one of my favorites.. Anyway for this he talks about gun control in his home country of Australia compared with here in America.. Very interesting no doubt..
Who is Harry Nilsson.... Very interesting documentary about a guy who wrote a lot of great and influential songs.. It seems everyone has covered his songs...
Jim Gaffigan is less a blue comic.. Very good at his joke telling.. More in the everyday vein.. This bit here is about McDonald's...
Stop at Nothing the Lance Armstrong story.. Or one of the grandest lies ever perpetuated on the world.. I had heard of the stories everyone was telling about the lie this guy was getting away with.. Very interesting story..
The Ghost Army.. I had heard the USA used deception in WW II but I had only heard they had a fake army set up on the coast of England.. I didn't know they used it in several other areas in France.. This was a very interesting documentary..
