Well I completed the editing of the videos I shot between August 24 and last Thursday.. And while not perfect, I was happy with them... Set them to YouTube on my alternate site because my main site is now reserved for tv shows from everywhere else but the united states of glen.. (inside joke).. I say they were not perfect and they aren't, to me and with anyone who works in any medium like this, perfection is so unattainable.. Some stuff I felt wasn't needed because there were videos done from earlier that wasn't needed to make any point, whatever that might be.. To make the video somewhat concise to remain on topic which the topic is family get together.. And so with that in mind the first was moms birthday bash.

This was just a lot of fun and actually thrown together quite literally last minute...

The Old Settlers Days Reunion thing.. This was an attempt to edit with the previous video in mind..  Still after all was said and done it ended up being twenty minutes or so.. Some editing made the video somewhat out of sequence as knowing when certain people left made it seem odd when they were here later in the video..

From the Tuesday (9-10-14) where everyone was there that night.  A certain amount of redundancy is evident but I don't shoot/edit the video thinking this will end up on the "cutting room floor" or this will and that won't.. The animation (fades between scenes) are used the same way I always have, where there is something happening in the same relative setting I fade as cross fade.. But if there is a change in venue such as indoor to outdoor there is more of a dramatic fade.. Either a box or triangle fade.. 

Finally the 9-11 video.. Here again lots of the kids as with the others I concentrate more on the kids because they will never be this young again, and with that knowledge I shoot more for that reason.. Ryan is the (nearly exact) same size as his cousins are and he is some 8 months younger...  But a very interesting interaction between them.. And of course the girls are Ians biggest fans.. For Now, and the truth is I can see this "gang" being formidable when the get into school.. Imagine the kids getting out of the way as Ryan makes room.. "Outta my way, I'm comin' through" with Ian and the angels following.. Leaving broken beyond repair hearts in their wake... Tough tiddlywinks kids we got better things to do today.. Who wants ICECREAM...
