I'm not going to lie.. Since the second week (Saturday) of July we've been at the burg watching a couple little boys and I thought, "just as long as this ends when football season starts I'll be fine.. Yesterday we were off.. What a relief.. I would have never thought it would feel so good.. I felt like buying a lottery ticket.. THAT'S HOW LUCKY WE FELT... But we went out.. Bob was here and we went out somewhere and just enjoyed not being in a hurry to get somewhere on a Saturday .. Felt so good we'll do it again next week.. And every week until the super bowl... Ah football... You just gotta love it.. And speaking of football did you ever think those games yesterday would be so good?? You know just when you think they have changed it to the point you won't like it anymore, the kids kick it into a new gear.. The uptempo game is great.. I love Oklahoma and their cross state rival Oklahoma State uptempo game.. The coaches that don't like it.. Tough shit, grow a pair.. I love the uptempo game.. Beats the boring game most of the big ten plays.. Yawn... Nebraska eeked out a win.. I saw last week after the games that someone said Nebraska was like the third best team in the league and I said we beat a team that has been in the upper division for three years now?? maybes.. Let's see what they do against Miami.. Let's see what they do against Mc. Neese State... Never thought there would be doubt about that one.. I thought Miami, Michigan State, Rutgers.. Rutgers?? Hard to say... How about BYU?? That's a team that wants to join the big XII conference and the conference is saying NO WAY, you'll never be able to compete with the big boys like Texas.. And the laugher of course, last year they stomp Texas and seal Mac Browns "retirement" in September.. And turn around and prove maybe the big XII isn't the right conference for them to play in.. Maybe they should look to the SEC instead..
Great fun yesterday afternoon.. Drove out to the outback as it were..
Sullavan Hills... A camp/retreat area.. I remember going out there for our fifth and sixth grade end of school picnic thing back in the day... Back when it was just a ranch thing.. The pond.. The ability to just relax..
What's that out there?? What's in that picture there?? A whole lotta nothing..
Zip line.. nothing says relax quite like peeing your pants...
