Oh shit another reason to hate the president, he is saluting the guys at the end of the whirly bird with a cup of coffee in his paws.. Listen, I don't understand what the big deal is here.. He is the president who got elected.. He didn't go though the marines training, and yet he is supposed to know that you stop and salute each guard.. Truth is he was fine, he'd probably been up all night what with the new fun going on in the middle east (war again in case you live under a rock)..   I say to all the haters JUST CHILL OUT!!!  Besides the cup was photo shopped into the picture... Just chillax people..

What's that song?? You know the one that has that gal singing and then she reaches that extremely high note and holds it for forever??  The one we use to pull bats out of the air with??  Oh that's right just about any song that every radio plays about once an hour to make you proud that you listen to radio from around the world but here in America.. Seriously I have troubles listening to American radio.. And then this past Thursday night happened.. I was down here at nine ish and the phone rings and I see the number ends in 0550 and we had been getting this number calling us for a week or so and I was tired of it.. I rarely answer the phone here at the house but this time I did.. The person on the other end of the line started talking which was odd.. Most of the time it had been answer the phone and wait until the tone comes up and all I could think was well, lets see where this goes, I like to prank the telemarketers every now and then.. This however was legit as it turns out it was from Arbitron..  That's right Arbitron, the radio and television survey people.. Would we be interested in filling out a survey on the radio we listen to??  I said sure, why not??    My listening habits have changed over the years what with the tinnitis that I have developed from years of ...  Whatever the cause. I listen to the radio over night to tame that whining ringing sound that is at times maddening in silent situations.. The fear I have is if I ever get to the point where I am in a silent situation it might drive me over the edge, because there are times that it is so loud to me I swear people can hear it as I walk into the room.. "Can't you hear that?"... So yeah, there are three shows that are gonna get a glowing review as it were.. Steve, you can thank me later..  So we get the surveys yesterday and will start the week listening survey tomorrow through next Wednesday.. Could be interesting for Saturday which includes me listening to 1.FM on the Roku as well as Soma FM based in the San Francisco area.. And the Tune-in app for radio around the world..   Yep, well you wanted to know.. Should be fun.

So we get a call this morning from Arbitron to ask if we got the packet and I tell her yes, and were there any questions and checking to make sure we knew everything about the survey and everything and I tell her i think we have got it.. Then the last question she asks is this "Will you fill this out and send it back in on time" and I say ... What are you kidding me??  I mean the answer to this question can only be YES I mean ... I mean...  I mean with the incentive that they pay you for this information, shit yes I'm gonna get it done and mailed on time.. How much incentive are they paying for this??  Two dollars.. Two greenbacks.. That's right, two dollars, "RIGHTEOUS BUCKS"...
