That's twice now..

So... This past Friday we were down at the Walmart to do our usual Friday grocery shopping and.. I break away and head towards the chest freezers and am just looking to look more than anything else and.. when suddenly this lady who lives just across the street and corner comes up to me and says I know what is going on, aren't you excited.. I know she is on Facebook and she likely saw the "news" that I saw earlier in the day.. Aren't you excited??... Well, about what??? I bait her, I know exactly what she is talking about, but I bait her, act all innocent like I know nothing.. And she says well you're going to be a great grandfather or.. not that.. a grand..  great.. she stammers a bit on then says well you know what you are going to be.. I read it on facebook..  You read it wrong there sister.. Here is what it says .. :
So if you are not friends with my wife or you are wondering what is going on, the news is we are going to have another boy come early April.

And she saw the lower part, not the date on it.. I tell her yup, he was born on the 4th of April.. Almost three years ago, name is Ryan and a little ornery boy..  She looks at me in total shock... I tell her that was one of those news things from back a few years they do that at Facebook sometimes.. Sort of a remember when type of thing.. Well...  Then to change subjects she asks well have you gotten your turkey yet.. I say no, we are still searching for a place to run one over, we like ours free range and fresh with just a hint of axle grease marinating it.. She said WHAT??? Really???   Why not..

Movies this past weekend were many.. I guess..  But a few oldies and some start and not finishes..

Gothika.. Kind of a psycological movie.. Girl is a doctor at a mental hospital, girl gets into an accident and gets tossed into her nut house hospital and finds out they are accusing her of murdering her husband..  Twists and turns and while I'm thinking it is going in one direction it actually goes in another.. Really good movie..

The Enemy Below.. Here is a classic movie with the commander of a war ship going against the commander of a U boat or submarine.. A very good classic movie with the challenge of two commanders trying to out think each other.. Who will win??

A Simple Plan... Seemed harmless enough.. These three guys are out on New Years Eve day and find a crashed plain and in that plain is a stash of 4 million dollars.. What could possibly go wrong??  Quite the twist in plot.. It had a feel of Fargo to it but ... not... But a fairly good movie none the less..

Other shows I watched was :America's secret D-Day disaster.. About the dress rehearsal for D-Day that went horribly wrong but was kept out of the history books until quite recently..

Psychic Investigators.. Interesting show and thankfully just the half hour variety.. Farfetched???  Hard to say, I tend to believe some of them.. It's if they ask for money that you know they are scam artists..

Just started Jane the Virgin last night... A fairly funny show..

My second run through of the show Weeds is entering the running from Agrestic part, where they move in with the father in law at Ran-mar California the seedy little shithole where they will start selling her MILF weed and get into even ever more trouble.. Why run through a second time??  I did just get done watching it the first time this past June.. Well.. Sometimes  show needs to be watched again.. and again..

So what makes a movie or tv show that watchable or able to be watched over and over like that?.. There are those who can watch Seinfeld over and over again as well.. With me I am watching Friends again some of the first two seasons will be the forth or fifth time counting seeing them when they were on originally on the network.. I just like the show.. I would do that with Seinfeld if it were on Netflix.. It's not, it's on Hulu.. So what is the big deal??  Hulu is free.. Not the subscription version isn't..  There are movies that are that way... I'll write about that in another blog entry..
