Source material for yesterday's entry "with or without" This above is the Full Withing Temptation Black Symphony concert which can't be watched here in the United States anymore... I was lucky to get it when I did..
The bonus concert which is still watchable here and very much worth watching...
Let Us Burn, the latest concert.. Faster is the third song some seventeen minutes in.. There is a long conceptual overture before the band hits the stage pretty much the same as Black Symphony, if you are able to ever see it..
Whadya watch over the weekend?? Well I had a Rocky fest weekend.. Started with the first movie and went through to five.. First off.. Rocky
The first movie in a series is more often than not the best of them all.. Down on his luck boxer Rocky Balboa is a collector of debts for a loan shark.. Fairly goodhearted and wanting the local woman at the pet shop to date him, his luck changes when the champ Apollo Creed gives a relatively unknown a shot at the title..
Rocky II is a close second in the series being the second movie and a good tell for Rocky who just barely lost in his bid to with the title..
Rocky III, the beginning of the wheels falling off but still a good movie overall... Rocky, now the champ gets harassed into fighting Clubber Lang with the help of Apollo Creed coming to the help of his old nemesis when Sylvester Stallone writes Micky out of the series.. Take that..
Rocky IV.. The wheels are falling off the franchise as Adriane pleads for Rocky to retire but Rocky listens like the jock he is by going off to Russia to fight a steroid using blood doping ruskie after he pulverizes his friend Apollo Creed..
Rocky V.. that is Rocky five.. The fifth is the saga that is.. wait, was that a tire we threw there?? Yes the wheels are falling off the franchise and yet it seems to move along.. In this installment Rocky gets the bad news, his brain is turning to jelly, and in fact it is getting hard where the grey matter that is dead brain cells, and is told by everyone retire or die.. So Rocky ignores them all, trains a kid to be just like him and then street fights him in an epic battle of good versus really not good, greedy little bastard, ungreatfull little worm.. And dies in the process.. or does he..And who cares..
There was one more in the series, Rocky Balboa but it is currently unavailable at Netflix.. Just as well I did watch it from disc on Netflix a couple years ago or whenever it was.. Not impressed but I felt I should watch it.. Now the new movie based on the Rocky series "Creed" has Rocky helping out Apollo Creed's kid.. In theaters shortly or now or whenever.. It might be worth a view. Hard to say.. did they find the wheels?? Anyway..
