Making a murderer (the review, oh goody)

So after binge watching the netflix show Making a murderer, my review is fairly simple.. I went into it without knowing for sure what it was going to be about.. And after the fourth or fifth episode I could tell where it was going.. truth is after the ninth episode I stepped back and thought maybe I should rethink it.. The guy (Steve Avery) was convicted of the crime (spoiler alert) and his nephew was as well (again spoiler alert) But strangely enough in Brandon's case he was coerced into a confession where he was likely not even there.. He was and still is a simpleton, you know not very bright at all.. They even said he had a fourth grade mentality..   To me while that may not excuse his being made to say what he said he should never have been in that room without representation because he was sixteen at the time, why he was allowed to be there without at least someone with his best interest at heart is beyond me..

Steve Avery continues to fight for a retrial even to this day.. he might be guilty, might be innocent hard to say.. Truth is this series might need to be re watched to see the very first parts to see what signs there are for what eventually happened.. I don't know.. The series was made by Netflix and was very pro defense (the side of Steve and his nephew) and I felt this way from the very start.. I did see in the tenth episode that I felt like it was biassed towards the defense side.. I think of people that this happens to and most of the time it is without what is unknown and people can't stand that it seems like people like that are evil when in more fact these people are unknown and have that factor.. It is the unknown that people are baffled by.. Leave them alone..  In reality my feeling is, without any idea of what might have happened it feels like Steve did do the act, but Brandon was coerced and that he should be released and let go to another part of the country but not that part of Wisconsin.. Just let be to live where he has never been.. Or be watched in a halfway house or something.. Should Steve be pardoned?  No I really think he might have done something there.. I'm not the best at knowing what a person is like.. i felt sorry for him through this series which can only mean he is likely guilty..

So what is my review?? What do I rate it.. Well watch it.. it does drag a bit at the seventh episode as they show things in great detail but it really is a good show.. They do paint Steve as a .. not a saint but a martyr  like person..  listen every person in jail is innocent.. Watch Shawshank redemption..

(P.S. I read the story in People magazine and ..  truth is the show really was slanted towards the defendants more than anything else.. I won't sign the petition  mostly because I'm not sure how I feel about it..  I might have to rewatch the series sometime in March or April..  Truth is there was more to it than the ten part series showed.. I know hard to believe they didn't cover everything.. Maybe they will add a part later on.. Hard to say.. )

(P.P.S. here we have a review of the series.. I pretty much agree with everything the guy says, for the most part.. WARNING the guy is Australian  and so.. The language is a bit salty but then I've been watching his channel since last summer so I'm used to it..
