So mom begins the task of cleaning her and dads bedroom, and stumbles upon my box of magazines.. DUH DUH DUH DUUUUHHHHH,,, Not those magazines, I have a collection of Mad, Cracked and Circus magazines.. These were what I read when I was growing up.. And the collection has been sitting in a box for quite a while.. Then a few years back I looked at some of them.. With the idea of just looking i guess, back a few years back I thought there might be a market for these.. Fast forward to yesterday and I start to look at them again.. Nice but dated.. They were dated for me for some of it in the greatest hits collections that were from the 60's or so and so I just went with it.. To the now where the humour is still classic but dated.. Well I looked and the decision was made.. I'll keep it all for yet, forever?? Well then I looked through the Mad and Cracked magazines and thought I haven't looked at them in how long before now and before however long it was before.. I looked yesterday and will look over the next week or so but the new decision was reached that I will likely try to sell (read give away) the magazines.. Is there a worth for these?? Could there be a market?? To me they are priceless (in other words junk I guess).. I was hoping that the day might come where I could pass these on to my son or nephew but my son never happened because my perspective wife died I guess and my nephew has no real desire to learn how to read (not recreationally, he will learn to graduate from school (hopefully) ) and so the trash heap looks like where they will end up.. Not so sadly, I do have two rather sizable books with a lot of the best of MAD magazine material in them plus a few special collection books and I will keep a handful of magazines, the ones I just won't part with.. So I will put in Facebook selling site for sale a shitload of Mad, Cracked and Circus magazines.. Circus is a rock magazine that I followed the groups from my youth such as KISS and Pink Floyd which were never covered enough in my opinion.. Such as it is.. ...
