The Ultimate Zabriskie Point which in this case they label as a Pink Floyd album and it wasn't when it was released back when it was.. So just.. what or why .. What's the big deal?? Why'd ya just have to get this?? Ultimate Zabriskie Point soundtrack is ultimate.. You advertise anything with the ultimate sticker on it and then add the Pink Floyd name to it and you get some sales.. In this case this soundtrack is more repackaging of some Floyd classics. Classics in the form of what is rehashed from music that was studio work that was in some instances released and others not so much so.. Come in number 51 your time is up was a reworking of Careful with that axe Eugene which is a classic PF song that was never on an album, or I should say never on a proper studio album.. Proper in the sense of Piper at the gates of Dawn or Saucerful of Secrets.. It was on Relics and Ummagumma as well as the final track on the Early Singles disc in Shine on Box set.. The Zabriskie Point is mostly for collectors.. I got it from YouTube (not really but it was there) and then got the sessions that yielded the soundtrack on YouTube when I went into FREAKOUT mode recently.. So now.. It's ALL THERE, and it's all ULTIMATE, and it's all.. ok..
