To be or 2 B...

They say every dog can learn a new trick. or old dogs can.. You can teach ..  I forget how it goes exactly but in this case it is truly this situation..

I am ranting of course about the great Google Chrome.. That great browser everyone swears by.. I swear on and at..  A few years ago I liked this browser enough to say I all but loved it.. Let me phrase that again.. I LOVED that multicoloured browser so much I thought everything should be searched and viewed using it.. How  great a browser.. Just so .. Well I'll say it here.. WONDERFUL..

Why the rant?  well a few years after using it nonstop, for some reason it locked up on me.. What do I do now, everything I do on the internet was with this browser.. I'm not even sure I can open another browser.. I'm not even sure if the computer might eXPLODE..   Slide into a dark abyss.. What.. Can this thing handle that kind of move??   

Well of course it can be.. After two separate times where this happened I deleted chrome for good.. And finding out that chrome is actually not that great of a browser I have lived a fairly good life without it.. so why the you can teach an old dog new tricks (that's how it goes?).. I relinquished and got chrome back.. I set it as the default browser.. Now most people would read that and say so you use it exclusively then again.. No, the default browser is what I want it to be when there is something I stumble on to that requires the default browser to be opened.. It gives me time to think how badly do I need whatever this would be.. Also the chrome browser opens fairly quickly.. But here's the old dog new trick theme thing..

When I got the new way of doing things, when Google shut down their home page i-Google thing I wanted something new. A new idea.. A new machine that would browse the internet.. I decided on the speed dial.. That was working so well on my main browser, Mozzilla Aurora browser (yes I'm one of those weirdos that uses Aurora browser) that I wanted it to be on chrome browser.. It is available, that's good.. I installed it and the version of chrome I had worked quite well with this.. The speed dial worked and everything was kosher.. Then chrome updated their browser in such a way they left the ability to set the FVD speed dial to be what the browser opened to.. Try as I might there was no way to get this beast to work together again.. This month has almost been dedicated to getting this browser and everything about it to work the way the Firefox browsers do.. This was beginning to be a lost cause and then.. I decided why was I fighting an obviously losing battle??  Time to get rid of the browser again. ONCE AND FOR ALL...  Well almost .. I just got rid of the add on.. it wasn't worth it.. So now Chrome is just what it was when it was meant to be a simple browser.. Stripped naked, I have to wear shades it is so .. exposed.. But that's my story.. Pass the tissues and the peanut butter.. I'm done..
