The end of an era of sorts.. Last Sunday or today depending on how you look at it, the Rhino Rock Box set ended.. Last sunday was the final entry of the music I have and todays entry was the wish list ending.. Wishlist in the form of wish I had the sets but really not so much.. For the music I liked but the booklets were on equal to the music for me, I love reading the notes that were written about the bands and the members in the band.. The Nuggets sets are the best when you read about this or that person that eventually went on to do more in music or whatever.. Just interesting to read about.. But those entries which started back in early April of last year.. I think it was then.. To the final entry last week with the final song "Live Forever" by Oasis.. It just had to end that way.. And now, what will be the music entries after that gigantic lot got wrapped up?? Well surprising enough I had several box sets I had put together in "Rock Trax" "The Essentials" and "Road Trax" that I was ready to do but decided not to.. Not yet anyway.. I preloaded the entries for the Rhino Rock Box all the way back in May last year, the whole run was set to go.. I was then going to do the six disc set of each of those previously listed box sets but just.. didn't.. I did parts of one but just lost interest.. So next weeks entry will be.. good question.. Sunday has been music day for quite a while I'm not sure what it will be from now on..
Hey, I watched last nights episode of Breaking Bad and it was the one where the car tags said "KEN WINS" on them and that assbag on his blue tooth phone and being a massive jerk off.. Cut into the parking space that Walt was waiting to get.. At the end of that episode where that car pulls in to get gas at a gas station and Walt goes and grabs the wind shield washing deal.. dealio to was a wind shield with but instead he opens the engine hood and places the thing on the battery terminals shorting it out and causing the car to catch fire. That was the episode that sold me on this show.. I originally thought yeah, I'll give this show a watching.. Was true last year and is true this year.. So.. Nobody died in episode 4 (last nights show) but it wasn't from the lack of trying.. The DEA tested the meth and found it to be some 94% pure.. So it's the new must get drug.. Walt visits the cancer doctor and finds that the whole of the cure might run in the hundred grand to nearly quarter million dollar range and doesn't want to straddle Skyler with that kind of debt if he were to die.. What a guy, thinking of his family made turning to cooking meth seem logical.. And so the story will move forward from that point..
