Getting away from the political horseshit for an entry.. That should be for good in another week or two once .. never mind.. So.. I watched a few shows between the last time I wrote and now.. Here we go.. This first one I've seen .. a lot.. Well at least three times counting this last time..
Tomorrow When The War Began... This one is the Australian version of the movie where kids take on the Russian invading horde and repel them.. to a certain degree anyway... This is the little guy beating the big guy.. Or at least turning them back a bit..
Waffle Street about a guy who gets fired from his "banking" job and goes to work at a fast food type of place... With James Lafferty he of the One Tree Hill fame.. He's actually a pretty decent actor... Not a bad little flick...
Amanda Knox, the story about Amanda Knox and her bout with idiots in Italy and the murder that she was almost put away for.. Quite a gripping documentary.. Kinda must see but if you saw all the news stories on this on network tv, you will already know most of it.. In fact there is very little you will glean from this... Just a little more deeper but not much..
The Choice 2016... Sorry, a little about the election.. Really this is a long version of why you should vote for her. Truth be told it is a toss up but it in the end really isn't.. I've said before and I'll say it again, if you believe that Hillary killed those soldiers in Benghazi then by all means vote for... Trump is an ego driven person that after last weeks debate, the fat shaming of a miss Universe was what set him off on a twitter account that should have been shut down the day he won the nomination.. It will be his downfall, I said that back in May and I see that is exactly what is happening NOW.. So if you don't mind a person who hasn't paid his taxes in over twenty years then.. By all means vote for...
A favorite movie is on the 'Flicks site.. Dazed and Confused.. Back before I knew it was a movie I had bought the soundtrack to the movie.. I had never seen the movie, or trailers for it and I honestly thought it was a farce, I thought it was a movie soundtrack without a movie.. Then I was in a store and saw the movie on VHS and bought it.. I was hooked.. I watched this movie over and over.. I really liked it.. There are parts of it that I remember were still relevant even when I was in school.. The making of bong which by the time I was at that age was not allowed in shop at all, but knowing that it was done not too long before that ... The beer party I don't identify with.. truth is I didn't drink beer that much and have never really drank that much beer EVER.. Hard to believe?? Well up until five years ago I had never bought a six pack of beer.. And the total amount of beer I have drank is maybe a case.. MAYBE... I just can't stand the way it tastes and there really is no buzz to be had with a few beers, in fact I've never caught a buzz from drinking beer.. remember I have drank a case of beer in my entire life, not one sitting... Now bottles of vodka, or bourbon (whiskey) I can give you a great detail about just how much I can drink before I get a low grade buzz up until being rather shitfaced.. When was the last time I got trashed.. That was this past February.. Celebration of the Broncos playing in and winning the super bowl.. I was plastered and still drunk the next day... Never again.. Well not until it cools off.. I don't drink when it is even remotely warm out..
Badge Henry ..
(P.S. Currently I am watching Person of Interest and really, I liked the hell out of the show when I first watched it.. I am currently almost through the first season so they haven't started down the rabbit hole yet that is the storyline that derailed premise of the initial feel of the show.. So I am really enjoying it right now :
I have to change the way i feel about the show Quantico.. I am finding that I like it however having two stories going at the same time can confuse a lot of people, i kinda get it but there was a Lost feel to it a little, people are still trying to get a second Lost show going to rival one of the greatest cult classic tv shows ever.. :
Sunday night I started watching a favorite show, taking a fairly huge gamble by doing so... it is ..
Justified ... This show isn't on Netflix, it is on another channel on the roku.. X-TV.. Thought I'd try it out and hope the channel doesn't get scrapped before I get it watched.. Guess that will be the chance I take.. There is another show I would like to get into but it is extremely huge in number of episodes and if I get into it.. it is a serious cult classic.. It is:
Dark Shadows.. But unlike Justified, this show has a fairly good amount of it on Youtube.. But I'd like to see it on the X as well... )
