This is no joke, no photoshop trick, this building was built on the side of a mountain.. The old hundred mine bunkhouse where miners stayed after a long days hard rock mining..
I got a good lot of pictures from below of this building but this really shows it from above.. You have to hike up to get this shot, there is no road of any kind..
There's Silverton down there, the view from the porch.. More than likely not the porch of the bunkhouse but rather quite close by..
The headline of this past weeks paper tells the tale. The headline of Distant Fire right next to the fireworks display set to go off as usual seems odd to see on the same paper.. Yes they are very careful but it just seems like this could be the year something goes wrong.. Hopefully not.. They have one of the best fireworks displays I've ever seen..
