I used the UC browser for everything blog related, uploading videos and pictures and.. words.. can't forget the words.. all important.. But why is the UC Browser so.. DIFFICULT.. What difficult does it have?? One thing to make this browser work relatively well is the Web browser doctor, now normally people likely will use this function when the browser takes a dump on progress, and the same thing happens with this browser but because I don't want interruptions in my progress. i click this function at the start of every session.. Does it make a difference?? Maybe it is the mentality that I am trying to do everything to help things out but yes, I think it makes a difference. Initially I had an issue with the computer with the UC Browser, it played videos perfectly well but in complete silence.. Why was it that way? I went to their site after trying everything I could to get sound in that browser and after about a month of trying everything (even deleting and reinstalling it) nothing worked.. And then the main computer mixer, I had to open it to do something else and noticed the browser was turned all the way down.. Bone head move but that was all it took.. The browser is based on the Chrome design.. Well then why not get Chrome then??? I did have chrome browser when it was first introduced and swore by it, swore on it, swore at it and finally deleted it swearing to NEVER EVER USE THAT HEAP OF SHIT EVER AGAIN.. And I haven't, nor have I ever used Firefox ever again since ditching it three years ago.. I have relatives of those but not the exact browsers.. I'll never go back to them.. You can see and feel the difference using the relatives of these main browsers... Things just seem better.. Maybe my expectations are a little lower and so I feel more relaxed.. I don't know.. But the thing about UC browser that stuns me is.. It resets to square one fairly regularly.. How do I know.. There is a screen that asks you to set the way you want the "speed dial" display to look when you first start the browser upon opening it up after installing it.. Do you want the grid or the "bubble" look for your speed dials?? I like the bubble look, with the grid looking too much like Chrome.. But I also have FVD speed dial 3D wall design as my main home page design.. I've had this set this way for the past three or more years.. But that gets reset fairly regular. Also when I do the web browser MD thing it sets the FVD speed dial thing to off and I have to turn it on, no big deal, freaked me out at first but that comes with the turf of the way this works.. Then there is the Cloud boost that "speeds up the browser".. Sure.. But what I used the browser for was uploading the pictures to the blogs.. The Firefox based browser Pale Moon had troubles uploading everything I wanted, sometimes being unable to get them all to go, sometimes it would take forever to get a few uploaded.. Same with videos to the blog sites as well as YouTube.. You get used to the odd quirky things that certain browsers do and some are better at certain things than others.. But then there is the cool things with the UC Browser that most people won't ever get because they are stuck on the known, it's the things that are cool but not understood by regular people who are stuck in the IE world of never leaving a known commodity.. You have to leave your comfort zone sometimes.. Try something you never thought twice about.. Some people have absolutely no idea what ping and jitter means, nor ever set foot on the speed test page.. When you ask them what speed their internet is and they say we are paying for this or that speed and they never have issues with buffering so they assume they have that speed.. Must be nice, I never even thought about testing the speed until three years ago..
Other browsers I have: Ice Dragon Chrome based, Flash peak Slimjet Chrome, Palemoon Firefox, Mozzila Firefox (proper although I never use it, uninstalling it can scar my drive.. Trust me on that one) .. Safari the apple based OS browser, fun to use but more related to an earlier version of your grandma who has no idea what a browser is.. And then there is Opera.. Or Oprah as I call it.. A grand browser that seems to be gaining a resergence in popularity..
