It's new.. It's improved.. (*)

Saturday saw the movie Contact be watched via Netflix streaming.. And through it all I kept having this song pop up in my mind.. But what was  it??  It turns out it was this..

Hybrid by Xenothon from the album..well i have no idea, I got it in a mass download called Blue Mars a few years back..  ... But it is an interesting song.. If you like the song Rubycon by Tangerine Dream, this is along those lines.. The first thirty seconds are the same as the last thirty seconds and the seven minutes in between are pretty much the same.  Very interesting though.. to me anyway.. I put together this video Sunday (yesterday) in what literally was a though together with very little time or effort to do..

Fingers crossed it gets uploaded.. anyway..

Meet the new boss same as the old boss... : Got the new facebook account going on.. Friday and wasn't going to get any friends going until tomorrow but then I got requests so.. This version of Facebook will be less like the previous one.. For one, this is the very first time that my face is on my facebook.. Every other time it was a vague resemblance to me in that it was.. not me at all.. But this time I did a picture of the photo session from like.. 87 or 88, from when the band I was in went out in a pasture rock formation and spent an afternoon posing for a cameraman and there was only two of me and so I doctored one of them.. Using glowing edges of Adobe photolab and then using PdN for layering in my face and then darkening it so there is still some vagueness to it.. And again I used the Badge Henry even though it was a perfect opportunity to go with my real name I clicked the finished button and then though.. OH WAIT... too late it was already set again.. So I checked to see if I could have the user name set.. I will eventually get my real name in there somewhere some time..  Checked the "user name" setting and.. I can't get it to take my real name so.. I will try to get it there another way..

Yesterday as I was wrapping up the videos work I looked in the old videos files and came across another video that was from a couple years ago.. This one was "Talking to Maddox"  and that was a favorite song then and still is today.. So simple and yet not as he used four or five rhythm ideas through the entire song.. One of the coolest ideas, instead of deciding on one rhythm like he normally did, use several.. And it works.. . It just hit a nerve with me.. A perfect song. for that feeling..
