Throw for it

An add on to yesterdays entry about the band.. My hopes were/are to have it done by the end of the month (November) and I was thinking the other times I wrote about this I ended up setting them to "done/publish"  before thinking it through.. This time I will push publish only when I really think it is done which I have decided not to set a date for.. So it might be next week or it might be next month or even later..  No pressure but I do want it to be done right..  To my satisfaction so that the next time I get the urge to write about it there won't be any more to add..  Same as with that about dad and that ordeal.. There would be so little to add, and in fact there isn't anything to add.. I haven't revisited that because I can't remember any..  Maybe that is for the better.. Same with this "Rock legend" (not the name of it, i don't think)...

I got the yard nearly finished Friday.. Got the leaves raked up, mowed/mulched and set the leaves in the pumpkin patch.. I watered the leaves there hoping they will stay there and not blow to Kansas when the wind blows.. I like using yard waste for the garden area because it is better than having to buy fertilizer in the spring/summer growing season.. That brings up the planting season next year. I think it will be pumpkins again, maybe the three sisters project that I passed on this year because of space restrictions..  Thinking about the Earth box this past season I was fairly disappointed in what I got again although not horrible.. I almost didn't plant anything this past summer but I just gotta try every year with that self watering system, takes a lot of the work out of gardening..  Three tomato plants next year, just like this year three turned into four then to five.. I really like Roma, but they cross pollinated with the cherry tomatoes so that was an odd lot, just like last year.. But for now..

LET IT SNOW..

Again losing daylight is more dramatic than gaining it in the spring.. Watching the sun start to set at about three in the afternoon, watching it start to arc down, there just is nothing to compare to it.. It's like seeing things for the first time, most people don't even notice this.. The shadows, the light and the sky, clouds and everything combined.. Very impressive to watch..
