You gotta feel for the Raiders, they are the eternal optimist.. Every year starts with everyone in the playoff hunt and every year the Raiders find talking about next season starts after the first weekend of October.. My cousin had this on her Facebook and I so cam close to saying something to her about optimistic are we??   Oh well I remember when the Broncos couldn't find their ass if they were given a map.. That was called The McDaniels years and they were both too long and very destructive on the franchise..  One thing came out of that era though.. The semi good Tim Tebow experiment.. It was fun to watch but wasn't long for the Broncos.. I know I often wonder what might have happened had they not gone after Manning.. To have had Tebow one more season even..  But the one thing that might have happened was a down turn in the wins.. Remember the Broncos made the playoffs that year but barely and it was a .500 record that got them in.. That would be good for staying home the last four seasons had that record been there..   The Manning years were the best when the Broncos were west division winners.. The playoffs will likely happen this year.. Everyone is putting Sanchez down and he wasn't my first choice for starting QB but Elway has a way of knowing what to look for and so you have to give him a try.. Simien could be the starter opening day, from what I have heard.. And lynch could be the starter as well.. But what will be the timimg??   Well Sanchez/Simien could be the starter through week 4.. That is when I look for Lynch to get time in  a game.. Who is a weaker team on the schedule.. Fully depends on who is doing what but the Bengals although a road game.. The saints a a month later again on the road..  Rather see him debut at home... Jaguars are tough at their place and again a debut on the road not what you want.. So that almost means a divisional team. The Chiefs on November 27 or Christmas day with the Christmas game being the road and the second to final game of the season.. Truth is the team should be at full strength like last year at the final two games of the season for that all important playoff run... I think it will fully depend on the record the team has as to who will be the starting QB going into December..  You can tweak the offense during the October/November part of the season but come December the team and game plan should be set, then you just tweak it here and there..  Get ready for that all important two game run to the superbowl...
