It's not every day I misplace an album, or in this case a three part album.. or folder as it was.. I put most music into folders now and burn them to disc and store them where they will be relatively safe.. The backyard where the sesspool used to be.. But I got the disc found the folder and yesterday got the album (folder) set of a flash.. Great I gots it.. The other night I get ready for bed and switch on the radio and tune to the station (channel) I listen to to fall asleep.. The channel is a sports channel and the guy comes back from his breaks with classic rock and most of the time it is Pink Floyd.. I hear him talking a little about something about Pink Floyd and the great album Zabriskie Point.. No you read that right.. ZABRISKIE POINT.. I had to refocus what he was saying because not only am I trying to listen to the radio, I have the roku on the i-tunes channel and I have Steve Czaben on with his screwy sports radio show from earlier in the day (this is how I fall asleep, the radio I use to tame the tinitis, I can't sleep in total silence it wakes me up).. So I went in search of my triple copy of Zabriskie Point and found it.. Put it on a flash drive and finally went about checking the songs.. THEY'RE GONE!! This happened with the GUN and Wrabbit albums earlier.. But after rechecking the disc this was on I found it.. Spread over four separate volumes I found the whole album.. But not before I went in search for the album and finding a complete second version of the album. A jam session that went on for a little over an hour.. That's cool so.. Found the soundtrack as a whole that was resynced and Rhino rereleased it a few years ago.. Now with this that I found earlier today I have twice what is on the reissue release.. The box set gets bigger.. Also found the fan produced out takes of the KISS stuff.. KISSTory demos and rare stuff.. Trying to set it to a dvd to put in the box set of theirs.. Today has been fun..
OK the "great album" Zabriskie Point is in the ear of the beholder.. I like it because not very many people ever got it.. The film was a massive flop but the soundtrack was good..
